These days, Samsung has released a new version of firmware (also 4.2.2)
The release is the "I9105PXXUBOB2", while the former was the "I9105PXXUBNG1" and is currently version for Luxembourg, but we know that being a European version works well on any terminal.
The compilation is "Thu, February 19, 2015 04:23:39"
I found no changelog around and it seems that no one has yet tested.
If someone wants to do it, can be found here:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/44350/I9105PXXUBOB2_I9105PLUXBOB2_LUX/
Changelog is welcome

Any updates on this?
I don`t think this firmware has something new.
New kernel compiled has arrived!!!
Inviato dal mio GT-I9105P con Tapatalk 2
With the old kernel you got SOD?
Can you keep informed if this kernel is fix the SOD?
You have to speak to somebody that have the SOD problem. I use the 4.1.2 because i'm scared about SOD.
If is confirmed, I switch to 4.2.2....I need a stable firmware and 4.1.2 for me is perfect!!!

So this has a new kernel?
It is possible to install only the kernel? It is posible to extract the kernel from the firmware an update?

If it is new kernel, another updates may come up
I can download the firmware and extract the boot.img and create a flashable file.
I think that is possible to do...but in this mode you change only the kernel and if there are other changes in other parts of the firmware, you'll nevere have it....
Inviato dal mio GT-I9105P con Tapatalk 2
And if i install only the kernel is possible to break the phone?
If i have other CSC/pda is safe to install this ROM?
Kernel Version is 3.0.31
So, it's not new.
3.0.31-28.... this 28 is not new?
Now i have 3.0.31-27

Is what i'm repeating from 1 day....is a new compiling....is always the same version (3.0.31), the source probably is the same, but it has been compiled in february 2015 and can have a few news on board

I wish thay was right, it was very good have 4.3 or 4.4 but i don't think so... It has an update and a diferent kernel but should only to improve perfomance and stability
Hey guys, i have extracted the kernel from the new firmware, and I have created a zip file.
To change the kernel, you have to flash this file through recovery.
Please, remember to create a backup before, and wipe cache and dalvik cache.
After the reboot, you can check your kernel version on "Setting-Info"
REMEMBER: This is the last original kernel for stock 4.2.2, please don't use it on 4.1.2.
I don't assume any responsability, if you brick your phone.

How to:
Download "CSC_*.zip" and "PDA_*.zip" parts for your model of phone
Unpack downloaded files. You'll get "*.tar.md5"
Run Odin, for CSC choose "CSC_*.tar.md5" and for PDA choose "PDA_*.tar.md5". No more changes in Odin window
Flash and wait until reboot
* I recommend to do a factory reset

You will help me, if you provide firmware's CSC parts of other regions of present firmwares. Usually fiwmwares for different regions are identical but CSC part (cache.img & hidden.img) is different. In order to not to make a lot of FW's with big size I made the only PDA part and l different CSC parts for that PDA part version. Example: we have "I9105PXXUBNG1" PDA part and "I9105POXABNG1" CSC part for DBT (German) region. And we can make it multiregional if you'll provide me other CSC parts.

Yes bro is same, our device will kept with this version 3.0.31 that same one used on lollipop roms, i try to port 3.4 kernel but it's very hard job, because we should marge the basic architecture code to 3.4 btw i found they update the recovery, it's same of aosp 4.2 i think
Edit: the new firmware is very smooth comparing to old one + they add samsung go, if still release updated probably will release 4,3 and 4,4
The kernel has been compiled on february 2015, so is same version, but isn't same.

I just had the close on search in the Play Store, but I am still on XXUBNE1, so I dont think its a problem of the new firmware. Solved the problem by resetting Play Store in the app manager.
Hello,
Just received my Mi4c this past Friday. In the settings --> about Phone it lists my current ROM as version 77.00.44.00(LXKCNCI).
I see that the newest stable version on the official site is V7.0.7.0.LXKCNCI.
Am I on a different ROM path. Why does my current ROM list with two numbers? i.e. 77 and the current ROMS's list with only 1 number between the decimal points?
Am I really just on: V7.0.4.0?
Same here i have the version 77.00.44.00 same as yours
It means the rom is modified by your reseller. Will not get ota updates and may have spyware installed.
the 77 version is an adware/spyware version flashed by your reseller
Will Recovery Wipe Phone

Hello, I have downloaded the latest Stable Chinese ROM from Mi.
If I boot into recovery and flash this ROM will it erase my phone and all the malware/spyware?
If not, how can I do that so I am working from a clean image.
Thanks for any help!

I don't have a Xiaomi phone (yet), but here is what I think is the way to do this (and how I would do it if I get this phone):
1. Download the latest stable Chinese ROM from MI (as you say you've done, I would download the developer edition, but stable should be fine).
From here: http://en.miui.com/download-293.html
2. Follow the directions here:
http://en.miui.com/a-232.html
As I understand it, it should remove the unwanted apps that the reseller installs.
Luke
Edit: fix a typo

Thanks for the reply.
I do believe this worked. I tried to flash the Stable Chinese version but it would fail. The install would get to about 10% then would stop and say something about not being not verified. So I downloaded the latest developer version and that did flash fine.
I can confirm that the apps are no longer there.

Yep! I've just managed to update the fake version (77) with the latest non-developer build (7.0.15.0) via stock recovery.
Get rid of those resellee version of miui... Lot's of boatware installed, no updates, with bugs and with lot's of chinese written stuff... At least mine was like that until I installed miui dev version which by the way is pre-rooted and really clean. Now I suggest everyone to change to CM or Mokee as they really improve the phones performance... Specially downloads... My WiFi downloads now look like 4G downloads... It's insanely faster... Give it a try... But I do miss miuis interface which is the nicest one IMO...
Hi folks! :highfive:
I'm a lazy guy and I was simply tired to use the stock recovery all the time the new OTA arrives, so I decided to make a prerooted ROM and share it with you. The modification is very simple and required me to edit just a few lines in the updater-script.
The coolest thing is that you can flash it using TWRP.
I haven't noticed any bugs so far, so tell me if the method works for you.

Im using n916s. Hows it working? What ecactly did ypu do? Can you guide me bro?
yeah sure but NFC is not working rather it is draining battery like hell and phone is also very hot.
1. download Prime Kernal or the kernal posted in 1st post (both are same by the way)
2. download supersu posted in 1st post.
3. most important step is to download the orignal stock Odin flashable rom of your fone from Sammobile for extracting modem.bin file otherwise you will not get signal and your imei will be shown as nil.
4. download your rom eRobot.
5. now extract stock firmware downloaded from sammobile and extract modem.bin file. use winrar for extracting.
6. open eRobot rom in winrar and go to folder erobot then go to kernelm folder and then to modem folder and replace any modem file in one of the folder. you can also replace the kernal but i have not tried it but it might work.
7. now transfer it to your fone and flash using Twrp or any costom recovery.
8. after flashing flash the kernal which we downloaded in 1rst step and after flashing it flash supersu for rooting and reboot.
9. wait for like 10 min or more for booting up rom and enjoy.
Could you please explain what this fix is about, what it solves. I am trying to understand but unsucsesfully. Maybe I am stupid.
prime kernel has been updated to v4.4.1. anyone knows where to download?

If coming from KitKat you must flash Lollipop stock rom first. This will update the bootloader. Finally install latest TWRP recovery and Lineage 7.1.2
Hi,
I managed to install the rom (though it's my first time rooting and and updating a rom so I don't know a lot).
I saw that in the open GApps site there isn't a package for 7.1.2, and the closest package is for 7.1.1, this is the one to install on my T530 (32 bit processor), or can I install a higher version and it should be supported on this rom?
Thanks alot!

Tamir

No that is the right gapps, it is for 7.1 (7.1.1 and 7.1.2.) so go ahead and install that one. I hope you enjoy the rom!!!:good:
Are there news about microphone and camera?

I have installed this os and my wifi works very weirdly. My Samsung Galaxy Tab4 can connect with every router which can see, but when connected it says "no internet" where other devices connected with the same router have internet and works without problem.
Does anyone have or had a similar problem? Is there a solution to this problem?
I have model sm-t535

I've had this issue at times. A reboot to recovery and wiping cache/dalvik cache fixes it for me.
