Best Buy Platinum Case (seido surface oem)

got my note 4 today 10/17/2014. they had a couple of the platinum cases, but they couldn't sell them to me because there was a recall. i guess that's why seidio still has it listed as "under development". even still, 40 bucks for case and holster from best buy, vs 55 bucks plus shipping at seidio for the exact same case (except logo on kickstand). I picked up a spigen tough armor to hold me over in the meantime, but i thought i'd give you guys an update

They were selling a few when I picked mine up in AL. So YMMV on this one

yeah they had three in the store, but the sku was removed because there was a recall on the product (per the bb guy)

That's odd Best Buy had the Seidio cases and Seidio doesn't have them. When I called them they said there was no ETA for the case/holster combo. Best Buy is also $20 cheaper than Seidio for the same case.

Its always like that. Seidio sales in bulk to bestbuy and produce cases for them first. In about a month they will have there on cases online for 59.00 . Been like this for yrs.

Looks like Seidio is shipping this now per there website, says they are compatible with all versions of the Note 4

Seidio has the Surface w/ holster available. Best Buy had theirs about 2 weeks before they were available on the Seidio website but for some reason they were recalled. Everything on Seidio's website except the Surface & Surface holster are under development.

Case looks really good. A littel bit bulky for my taste.

Just got mine from Best Buy and it's not bulky at all. It's a thinner profile than my UAG case and really covers up the edges of the phone well, so much so that I can no longer see the halo on my tempered glass.

Its bulky compared to my Ringke slim. UAG cases are bulky also. I guess it all depends on what you are comparing to.

Best Buy has them back in stock and it exactly the same size I use every year. $39.99

Got mine from best buy for $33 when i bought my note 4

got one of these cases today, however will be returning it tomorrow. I dont suffer from the unsnapping like some people have said, however, the phone feels very loose in the case and the case creaks and is not "snug". Probably picking up the ringke case tonight from amazon.

True. I didn't know this when I ordered 4 different spigen cases. They all suck and they scratched my Note 4's shiny bezel because the lips are soooo hard and tight. The Verus Thor case is the best.

You're saying the tpu scratches it? How? I use tpu cases on all of my phones and it never scratches them. Got one on my phone now with no scratches.

The TPU part of the spigen cases are very tough/stiff. Somehow my phone got scratched after installing and removing the cases. I never had the scratches with my Nillkin bumper case and I remove it very often.

Anyone else get this to work? Did it expire cause its not working for me.

Just ordered one Tough Amor and two Neo Hybrid. I tried getting the Slim Armor but was not successful. I bought thru Amazon with Prime and didn't have to go with Spigen. I had to open a separate account to get two of them. I think it is one IP and account per coupon code. I couldn't order more from the same account.

Not sure it keeps comming up regular price on the color i want. I want the off black color.

Not much really, it is the same depth as the pixel add an addition inch maybe for the protective lip and the edge is about an inch for the impact protextion.

I usually prefer the TPU cases and I just got the Google Pixel XL Case from Cimo for my Pixel XL. For the price, I would say its pretty great and wonderful quality.

I need an Ultra Thin Clear TPU between 0.2-0.3mm thick. You guys seen any yet?

Spigen Ultra Hybrid vs Ringke Fusion.
Which one is the better case? Ringke is cheaper so I'm leaning towards them. I've used the Ringke Fusion for my Galaxy S6, and the Spigen Ultra Hybrid for my Nexus 5. Does anyone know which case provides a better fit for the Pixel XL?

I have the Maxboost mSnap thin case, and it's pretty good. It's incredibly snug, thin, and well aligned for all the ports and buttons.
The long to negatives would be:
- slippery, though it feels like it's just the result of a slick factory powder coating that will diminish after a week of use, increasing its grip
- buttons are hard to press due to how small the cutouts are.
I can happily live with it until a premium, ultra thin case comes around.

My Ringke Fusion shipped yesterday from amazon so it should get here next week and I'll be able to give it a try. Right now I'm using the Spigen Liquid Crystal case on my phone and it fits really well so I can only guess the hybrid should be similar. I am partial to Ringke though because I'm one of those people who like to hang phone charms off my phones and their case has a cut out for them.

I'm loving the rhino shield crash guard bumper. It doesn't even make the XL feel bigger like it did on my 6P. Fits really well and the only problem that some people might have with it is the buttons are a bit hard to press. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for something minimalistic.

I've already tried the OtterBox commuter and the Incipio. Not liking either one of these I tried the Spigen rugged armor case. It is the best case I have tried so far. It's also cheap.

Slickwraps taking orders but arent delivering last I read.
I ordered xtremeguard full body, which ill use to protect the back. But wraps don't do too well with pocket lint in my pocket. Besides I have the blue xl, so id prefer clear.

Changed my order to S10+ and that's my final pick, it has a kickstand and since it's clear it'll show the prism-blue colors:

I got this grey rugged kickstand case free as part of my S10+ pre-order!

I've gotten the Otterbox Defender for every phone I've had and can't complain. Just got the Defender for my S10+ in the mail today.

Looking for a clear case, cause it doesn't make sense to buy prism white an do cover it with an opaque case. The Spigen fits the bill, but till wait. More case makers will offer discounts.

Can I get a link to where you saw they'll be including a clear case? And are they including one with the s10+ as well? Reason asking is I'm seeing the opposite on other sites and want to verify before I order a skin instead of a case. Or i could play oblivious and have two cases. Wife will never know ?

I've always bought my pixels after their initial release. The 4 is the first pre-order I've done and just went with a Google case for now since it's what I've had on my 2XL for a while now.

Amazon has 2 XL cases up now. Available the 16th. I'm getting the ultra hybrid.

I've always had the tough armor cases. Always good. For now I bought the Liquid air case. It is 10.99 on amazon right now. We'll see how it works out.

I always had the Rugged Armor, but thought I'd change it this year.

I'd check Spigen's eBay for these cases. The official online store for Spigen usually sells them at full price and the eBay store's pricing is usually priced around half of the listed prices. They ship from Irvine, CA.

That soigen crystal case seems like a no brainer. Fully clear so you can see ALL the color of your device in all it's glory. Some cases cover the back, others cover the buttons.

I just ordered that case this morning. It will be delivered tomorrow. There's two other cases from them for the P4xl, one with tempered glass back (clear case) and another clear case with a kickstand.

I went for the Burgundy Neo-hybrid. I was all set to get a clear case; the better to see my orange Pixel it but it was sold out so now it's black that wont see until next spring when I sell the phone. I've been running a thin fit on my 2 XL since new. Love it. Just saw they have a white thin fit I'll be pre ordering on Amazon.

Just got my Neo Hybrid and Rugged Armor cases. I was originally going to just pick one to keep and return the other one, but wow, I love the way both these cases feel. The back has a nice matte feel to it. Fingerprints don't smudge on it. I have oily hands and it's not noticeable on these cases

Hmm ... This might be a YMMV type of thing. Only just holding both cases with no phone in it, I would lean toward the Rugged Armor being "grippier". Only because on the Neo Hybrid, the sides of the phone case might be slippery to some. But close tie between the two.
