[Completed] Will i lose my warranty? - XDA Assist

I got my new moto g 2nd gen, and i don't know if i rooted i will still have my warranty. I don't want to install custom recovery!! So only root will voiding my warranty? :cyclops:
Also a read about something called safe root. Can i root my device with that?

Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. From what I understand there's no way to root the Moto G without unlocking the bootloader, and unlocking the bootloader voids the warranty. So the answer to your question is rooting will void your warranty. If you want to go ahead, check out this thread:
[Updated][GUIDE][ROOT][Recovery][titan]Root your Moto G 2nd Gen 2014[21st sept]
Good luck!

No response in two days, thread closed.

Closest to Stock Rom

Hi
is there any rom for the moto g 3rd gen that is closest to stock as possible, i know cm12.1 is good and i am using it on a different phone but for the moto g i would like just root built in and allow custimizations to the notification drawer, adding and re-arrange icons, battery life is very important hence i would like to stick with stock
thanks in advance

Just try using xposed framework. You keep stock and just find a module that works for you. Good luck

There is no known way to root without unlocking bootloader.
Yep. You would void the warranty once you unlock the bootloader. Try using xposed .

How can i root my moto g3 2015 marshmallow

I want to unlock bootloader n root my moto g3 2015 marshmallow. I checked other forum aswell didnt find the solution. Hope u can help me
Have to use Motorola's unlock code found from their unlock support page. If it's a carrier branded model you've got a 50/50 chance that they will allow it. Once unlocked, rooting should be no problem. If you're allowed to unlock.

This method has worked for everyone else, does it not work for you? If you don't want Xposed, just skip the last step...
It was on the first page of the Moto G 2015 general forum, and has been for a couple months... it is easy to find.
