Facebook Home is here !!!
As many of you know Modaco has already got a copy of it.
It is meant to be officially released via the Play Store this Friday the 12th.
It doesn’t consist of one APK however, it consists of three.
Those being the main Facebook app (katana), the messenger app which integrates into your SMS (orca) and the home/launcher app (shell).
It is pre-release, so try it out at your own risk. Reports have said it’s a little buggy but it mostly works.
Requirements for the apps is having a 1280×768 screen. You’ll also need to uninstall all your current Facebook apps.

Hi guys and girls.
just thought id give the app "Overlays" a mention.
Basically it allows you to float any of your installed widgets on top of your screen so that they are still visible when using your apps/browser etc.
The app also allows you to size and set the transparency of the widgets.
Its really easy to use and there is a lite version for you to play with - see more at the XDA portal thread.....

*FUNCTION*
This app is designed to record and display statistics on all your journeys. ratRace will auto-detect when you arrive and aims to be as unintrusive, minimal and hassle-free as possible. Quick access to regular destinations such as your work and home as well as the option to add any destination you like!
*DESIGN*
I have tried to make the design as simple and intuitive as possible and only shows information need to know. The simple green holo theme makes it easy to use without unnecessary clutter.

For some reason my N5 seems to have stopped creating a shortcut on the launcher when I install a new app and I cant for the life of me find it...any clues please?!
I use this feature quite heavily as I run a simple one screen setup and tend to browse Play Store from a PC and send software to my phone during the day...that new installs dump to the desktop means I know theres something new for me to tidy up...whereas without this I'm huntimg through pages of the App Drawer trying to remember whats new,

PicLinx is a light & minimal app I made for my personal use. I always hated that I had to open Chrome just to view any image link sent by a someone. So I came up with this.
This app intercepts direct image links and opens them on top of the current app.
Also, when fully zoomed out, long press the image to download it..
