The latest official OTA from Verizon will put you at 4.1.2
Flashing one of the custom 4.2.2 roms is an option.

Hi,
Please do not install that ROM on your phone.
That is for the i9500 which is completely different from your i9505

Guys i have used redmi 2 and tried crDroid rom on it ....and it was awesome .one of the features i like was that i can anytime puse downloads from playstore.....cool ...

If the Falcon Bootloader has ever been updated, the Stock Jelly Bean ROM will not boot as the 4.3 Kernel is not compatible. Peregrine was released with Android 4.4.2 - no Stock Jelly Bean ROM exists.

Can someone make a port of a samsung kitkat 4.4 or jellybean 4.2.2 to this devices because android 4.0.4 stock rom and other customs roms based on this version dont change anything seriously ....

We already have cm11 i.e kitkat 4.4.4 for s7562 .
