I have the Hipstreet Titan 2. There is barely anything anywhere I have found, besides a hint these devices come partially rooted, & Super user needs simply be installed. I've done this, with nothing but errors as a result. Root checker confirms the device isn't properly rooted.
If it makes any difference, it was a 'kids' version (Kids mode app came preinstalled lol). My son just doesn't bother with it, so I thought I'd have a tinker rather than let it collect dust, but it looks like me and two other people have it in total. Only thing found on YouTube is tutorials on how to install apps from Google Play....
Does anyone else have this tablet, or know how to get full root?
Thanks

Hello Dev Team!
I have a KATA IDROID S running on GINGERBREAD 2.3.6.
I have tried rooting my device so that I could be able to remove bloatware from the device. I was pretty happy with what I did.
However, when i deleted one of the system apps (I assumed this was not needed since this was a third party store, (FISH STORE - more like another version of GOOGLE PLAY), thats when everything went crazy. I am not able to boot the phone and if it does, it does not show EVEN THE MENU. Unfortunately, I was not able to back up the stock ROM
I was wondering if you could point me out as to where i could download a STOCK or CUSTOM ROM for the device. a tutorial wold be splendid.
I have faith in you guys!
Thanks in advance!
JAMES

So, I got this problem with my Android GT-N5100 (running Android 4.4.2). It keeps crashing apps suddenly and randomly. I flashed it with Samsung's official firmware and since then it keeps like that. I know that if I factory reset it, it's gonna be happening the same way.
I was thinking about flashing Cyanogenmod but my device is currently unsupported. That is.. There are only nightly builds available for it at this moment, and it takes too many hacks to do so, then I'm not risking it. I thought also that it could be a memory overflow problem... Maybe.. But every time I open the window manager it seems to have plenty of memory left. I use to kill apps to avoid that, but no matter what... You got it.
Would someone PLEASE link me to a stable firmware free of bugs like that or tell me what the hell is going on and how can I fix this problem??
I'm tired of it... Believe me.
Hi there,
You'd be best served asking for help from the experts who own your device here:
Galaxy Note 8.0 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
And please read the purpose of XDA Assist Forum from here: The Purpose of XDA Assist [Please Read]
This is not a "helpdesk" providing technical assistance but more to point you in the correct direction with your problem. Perhaps you can't find posts on how to root your phone, install custom recovery or maybe you have questions about how to navigate and use features on the site.

Hello I am Looking to root my newly bought Asus ZenPad C7.0 (model: P01Z Z170C), I am not sure that I am in the right place to be asking but here goes. I am looking for a way to root my new tablet, I have looked through google. And I saw that there were a couple of programs that are "easy" to use but one of them is in another language and the other, Kingo root, does not seem safe to me. I have read of people having problems with it, and one of them being stealing data, another being that it installs processes that are undesireable on your pc. If someone could point me in the direction needed to root my tablet I would be grateful.
Side note: I already found out how to enable usb debugging.
Any suggestions appreciated, thank you.
A little more information
I forgot to mention I was running Android 5.0.2
If there is any other information needed to answer my question please let me know.
Thanks for using XDA Assist,

So this device is now running android 5.0 here is the system stats.
I updated the google drivers following this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57100493&postcount=11
Using kingo root there is no success. So was wondering if there was any other possible ways. Such as flashing it somehow to a lower android version? If anyone has any answers it would be greatly appreciated.
PS: This is the 2015 Black Friday Walmart tablet.

Having trouble finding info on rooting ZTE Fanfare. Saw an app that claims it works on this phone. Is it necessary to back up on my desktop first? I would love to remove bloatware, and perhaps add adfree app to remove ads, but I dont want to brick the phone. I am new at this so I would appreciate any advice. Thanks. P.S. I doubt I will ever need to flash the ROM. I just want to remove the pre-installed garbage I will never use, including Google Chrome.

Hello,
There is no forum specifically for the ZTE Fanfare at this time but you may want to ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you.
