I wanted Stock CM12 for my LG G2 D800, but there is no official one, the i took research and found the way.
we have to flash CM12 for D802 and then we need custom Kernel, thats all. (your phone will say Model D802 but nevermind you have still D800)
___________________________________________________________________________________
How to get fully working CM12 D802 on D800
1: At first you must be on custom recovery (newest as possible) with KKbased Modem like THIS
1a: Download all three files (ROM, Kernel, gapps) place them in sdcard
2: Reboot in to recovery, Take a nandroid backup!!!
3: wipe data/factory reset, for philz users "Clean to install New rom"
4: flash latest CM12 D802 ROM
5: flash custom kernel (RenderBroken LP-R11)
6: Flash gapps
7: Reboot and ENJOY
Rom D802: LatestCM12-Nightlies
Kernel: direct download RenderKernel-LP-R11 or go to thread
LP-Gapps: pa-gapps-nano
Known BUGS: same as D802
Thanks goes To:
CyanogenMod team for D802 rom base
RenderBroken for his amazing Kernel

Once installed, do you have to flash the kernel every time you install the next nightly build or can you just flash the rom?

Coming from D802 CM 12 Nightly
I was using the CM12 Nightly for the D802 on my D800 with the Bl4ckb1rd kernel.
Is there anything special that needs to be done other than wiping cache and Dalvik prior to flashing this rom?

rotation
So far so good. I have been running Lemonboi's build for a couple weeks with no issues. Clean installed the official nightly and rotation stopped stopped working.

You should flash KK Based Modem, there is the link in my post for that thread

So anyone running without major issues with calls, rotation, phone, BT etc. etc.? Have a stock rooted 4.4.2 phone with TWRP 2.8.5.1 but not sure if any of these 'nightlies' is worth my time yet. Had a bad experience with all these custom ROMs with my Infuse 4g back in the day, just because I cannot be bothered with flashing 10 different zips to get the phone working right.
If there is a 99% stable/working build out there, then I would definitely like to give it a shot though: anyone try the 3/21 nightly yet?

Benchmark scores...
Nice performance so far. Currently running the 3/21 nightly with the 10O radio.
Played around with some of the I/O schedulers. This result is using ROW. Ran NOOP and performance across the board was lower.

custom kernel...
What are the advantages of flashing the custom kernel listed in the instructions? I'm currently running the kernel included with official release 3/21 build.

Im having issues with outgoing calls, im on cm12 10O modem d800. The call ends at 0:00. Any idea?
Edit: found a workaround, change network from LTE to 3g.

Skype/VoIP
I was originally running the [CM12 ][ALL-VARIANTS] on my D800 and was having issues with Skype and other VoIP apps. When I made/received a call via VoIP I could hear the other person but they couldn't hear me. I decided to move to this ROM (flashed 20c radio and 03/22 nightly) to see if there were any VoIP issues and the problem still occurs. All VoIP apps have the same result: my microphone doesn't pick up any sound. When I try recording sound with the smart voice recorder app all sounds are picked up fine.

Rotation not working CM12
I flashed D800_KKMODEM_AOSP.zip and rotation is now working on my D800 running CM 12 .

battery performance question:
what type of battery life are you guys seeing? i'm consuming about 5-6% every hour or so. was hoping it would be a little better..

why all CM battery is so bad?

Rear LED stuck on -d800
Hi everyone- anybody else having an issue with the rear LED staying on all the time after flashing cyanogenmod 12. I'm on the 20150326 nightly build.
I'm talking about the light around the rear power button. Mine is stuck on. Can't be good for the battery...

There are a lot of light controls on this ROM and this phone in general. I hate the lights at night when I'm trying to sleep so almost every LED option is shut off on mine.
I would locate the LED notification settings and start by shutting those off. It may also be an app specific notification you need to address as well.

I think Im actually getting the best battery life I have had in the past 6 months or more. The other day I had like 2 hours and 48 minutes of screen on with it being about 16 hours total since the battery was last charged, it was at like 46%. Im impressed, and I watch some youtube

Bluetooth issue and
Just wanted to post a couple of possible bugs...my bluetooth shut down and wouldn't restart until I rebooted the phone. I know some of the other lollipop roms have this issue as well.
The other bug involves the network- mine automatically switched from LTE as the preferred network to 3G. I had to go into settings and change it. I'm a straight talk customer, so I have no idea if that has anything to do with it.
Other than that, this ROM is really awesome.
I'm running the nightly 5.0.2 20150327 build.

I have problem with GPS. It finds the satelites, shows the position but won't update it, the position is slightly off, for like few hundreds of meters

D800 CM12-20150327 and 28 Screen rotation problem
I installed CM12 yesterday (CM12-20150327) for the first time and screen was not auto-rotating when turned sideways. I updated it to CM12-20150328 and it is again not working. Screen is always at portrait; when I take pictures holding the phone at landscape orientation the picture ends up turned sideways.
Screen auto rotate is enabled in system settings (Settings -> Display & Lights -> Rotation -> Check "Auto-rotate screen"). I tried disabling and re-enabling, restarting the phone etc but no luck. All rotation modes are enabled (0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees)
When I turn on Netflix, screen turns to landscape orientation and gets stuck that way. I need to restart it to get back to portrait.
---------- Post added at 12:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:20 PM ----------
Downloaded and flashed D800_KKMODEM_AOSP.zip as mentioned in another link in this thread. I can't post the link because apparently I need to have more posts in this forum to be able to post links. This solved the screen rotation problem.

[Q] rom suggestion?

Hey all, I've been running CM10 on my One X for a while and have had some issues. I'm stuck on a nightly from about 6 weeks ago because every time I update to a newer nightly the wifi stops working. The version I'm on works ok, but the camera is often laggy and sometimes causes the phone to lock up and sometimes the actual phone app stops responding. I also recently tried to update to the CM10.1 nightly but that went rather badly (would not boot) and I had to go back to my safe nightly.
Does any have suggestions on a stable, fast, non sense/close to stock JB rom?

[GUIDE] HOWTO: Install an International LG G2 D802 ROM on the T-Mobile LG G2 D801.

Standard disclaimer:
I do not guarantee that modifying your original software will not destroy your device. I do not promise to provide support to those with issues. However, this is a community and any kindness effort that you put into your inquiries and questions will likely be returned. Good luck.
Background:
As an owner of the T-Mobile D801, I realize the apparent lack of specially catered ROMs for the device. I will provide some background. It is possible to install all other G2 variant ROMs on the device, however many of these will bring with them issues. For example: ATT's (D800) extra microphone will break speaker phone on the D801, as well as cause other audio issues. Verizon's ROM is generally unstable due to the different hardware it employs. The Canadian versions, I have not tested myself, but so far have seen no Canadian-made ROMs that are better than the International counterparts.
The exception, of course, is the International variant: D802. As far as I've found, all functions on D802 ROMs work fine on the TMO D801 device. You'll just need to flash a D801 kernel over the D802 ROM.
This guide is not intended for the seasoned XDA warrior. It is simply aimed at the average D801 owner who's looking to flash some custom ROMs, only to find that he doesn't have the best selection among all the G2 variants.
Issues:
PAC ROM for D802 doesn't work using this method.
Data may not work initially due to bad settings. First, check to make sure that your APN Settings are correct. If your APN settings are all set and you're still having issues with LTE vs. UMTS/HSPA+, try changing your network mode to include LTE. Of note, a build of Vanir was having issues with data at the time of writing, so if you cannot fix your issue, try another ROM.
The only thing that I've not seen in custom ROMs based off of anything other than LG's D801 stock is WiFi calling. If you use WiFi calling, following this advice will take away that feature. To retain WiFi calling, you will need to stick to near stock. Please, if I am in error about this fact, PM me and let me know, or reply below.
Your device's build.prop will identify as a D802 from now on. You may choose to edit this back to D801. Either way, don't trust OTAs or device-specific quirks like open-recovery scripts. It's your job to be a little cautious, and avoid automation that could brick your device. Always have at least one NANDroid backup to return to.
How this works:
Very simply, the most device-specific aspect of these ROMs is the kernel (boot.img). It controls very base-level functions such as managing where boot pointers lead to and providing hardware control. G2 kernels do not mix-and-match from one device to the other. After installing a D802 ROM, you now have a completely incompatible D802 kernel. You must install a D801 kernel to fix that. Afterwards, everything generally seems to work fine. If you can find any issues, report back here.
HOWTO: Install an International LG G2 D802 ROM on the T-Mobile LG G2 D801 device.Requirements:
You must have a custom recovery (like TWRP) installed.
As far as I've seen, you also need to be rooted (IOroot method) before installing a custom recovery on this device.
Instructions:
Download the D802 ROM of your choice. [Warning: PAC ROM for D802 doesn't work]
Download a kernel made for the D801.
For stability, you may use your stock kernel for LG ROMs (backing up/restoring just "boot" in recovery --> that's the kernel), or an AOSP-friendly stock, as built by Houstonn
For features, Custom G2 is a great modified kernel. It includes a D801 version for both Stock LG-based ROMs, as well as AOSP-based ones.
Reboot into recovery.
[Optional, but strongly recommended] Perform a NANDroid Backup, in case anything goes awry. Backup at least System, Boot, and Data.
Perform a Factory Reset, then wipe cache & dalvik cache.
Install the D802 ROM, including Gapps if needed. DO NOT REBOOT.
Immediately install the D801 kernel.
Reboot.
Enjoy.*
If you ever update your D802 ROM, through .zip or per-ROM OTA, you must always flash a D801 kernel afterwards.
Troubleshooting:
*It may take a while to get by your first boot. I've personally never had the first boot take longer than 2 minutes or so. If it takes upwards of 10 minutes, then try forcing a reboot by holding the power button. If the device still won't boot, something must have gone wrong. Reboot into recovery by holding the power button until the screen goes black, then hold Vol-Down & Power, and when the LG logo appears, release and re-press/hold this key combination. You will arrive at a screen offering a factory reset. Just press the power button twice, ignoring the warnings, and you will boot into recovery. Restore the NANDroid backup you made earlier.Your phone should boot now. You may attempt to try the whole thing again. Post the combo that gave you issues to this thread. Again, this has never happened to me when following the correct procedure. An issue I could see is attempting to use an AOSP-friendly kernel with an LG Stock-based ROM, or vice-versa.
If you are having issues with data, see the "Issues" section above for my recommendation: APN Settings.

I've been running D802 ROMs for weeks, without any abnormal issues, including CleanROM, Vanir AOSP, AOKP, and CM.

Works best? None. They are all rather stable.
Out of all the CM-based ROMs I tried for the G2, my personal preference turned out to be VanirAOSP. I like the default task chooser (AOKP uses an alternative), the features it kanged from other ROMs, such as the swipe-to-switch between quick toggles & notifications, the navigation bar settings (taken from AOKP), and more. Of course, all ROMs have their own little quirks and feels.
I personally don't need PIE or Halo, as I find that a higher DPI (400-440 instead of stock 480) and a smaller Nav Bar fix my screen real-estate issues. That's why I don't invest time into Paranoid Android. However, some people swear by Paranoid.
AOKP is great if for nothing other than their organization.
CM is wonderful because of its legacy.
SlimBean has a system-wide dark theme and some ICS-like features that some people love to hold onto.
VanirAOSP is newer and took a lot of the features I liked from AOKP and merged them with the stability of CM.
There are other options. Try going down different roads. You'll see what you like.
Altogether I'd sum up by saying that the cores are something like:
CM: stability and uniformity.
AOKP: throw a lot of features at the wall, see what sticks.
PA: radical earth-shattering features, which some may or may not like.
Others: Usually a combination of all of the above. Read the descriptions.
Also: new kid on the block is OmniROM. It looks like it'll be great, but as of yet isn't completely polished. I'm excited for their 4.4 release!
Well I can confirm that the M1d802 cm ROM works with d801 kernel, seems like signal is a little weaker though!

What about sound quality? When I tried AOSP 801 Roms the sound seemed distorted at times and people on the other end seemed to notice a difference.
The radios/modems don't get overwritten with a flash, so that's strange that you'd have varying signal quality. I'm on WIND in Canada, so I can't really vouch as to how TMO's signal quality is on different ROMs. I've noticed, though, that my WIND experience has been pretty similar on everything except a D800 ROM, which really messed with loudness levels and quality, due to the microphone differences.
Effectively on a D800 ROM I had these issues:
-Earpiece is BLISTERING loud. Lowest volume, too loud for comfort. Highest volume, can hear from the next room.
-Generally quiet. I need to speak into the mic directly, lest I not be heard.
-Non-functioning speakerphone. I can hear the other end, but they can't hear me.
So your back using a stock T-Mobile Rom now though? I'm fine with the Buckeye Rom but do miss flashing Roms like I did with the S4. Did you try the Omni Rom? What about MIUI? I kind of like to change things up. Thanks for the this thread I was wondering if this was possible.

Haha, you sound excited. I'm using a stock T-Mo ROM for the Camera app and the battery, but I am really just waiting for the 4.4 ROMs to roll in. I'm pretty certain that the OmniROM and MIUI will work fine, so make a backup and go try them!
You might also want to include more of a vanilla kernel in your guide, modified kernels are not for everyone and often go under heavy changes and development at anytime which often make them unstable. Houstonn has kernels built for all our devices, I'd suggest to recommend those as they are far more likely to have less issues than a modified kernel.

Thank you for figuring this out! I am flashing the latest CM 10.2 nightly (11/11) with Houstonn's AOSP kernel and will report back with any issues in this thread.
Maybe it's time I start dev'ing again, let the endless downloading, installing and setup begin!
And I just cleaned everything up with a fresh install.
I hate you Android... I was so close to getting away... DAMM YOU!
Flashed VanirAOSP 802 build. I was bit worried because it seemed to take longer to flash. Guess I flashed the wrong kernel since I have no data. WiFi works. I also can't figure out how to rearrange the nav buttons. I like the back button on the far right instead of left.

Vanir should have nav bar settings... But data is probably APN settings. Are you on TMO? See the documentation on TMO's site: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-2090
Set up your APNs, report back. None functioning data would be pretty bad.
EDIT: also kernel should not really affect data. If your signal is working but without data, it is almost always missing APN settings and sorry about the formatting on this reply... This is from my Nexus 7

Calls should now work without lockups. Data seems flakey? Let me know your finding
(This is now working due to rolling back to old RIL blobs (pre 4.3). This means that the connection process takes longer on initial start-up and switching to air-plane mode as well. )
Leave wifi on to avoid reboots.
Also this doesnt have the camera bug fix yet that Derteufel made.

REVIEW
Thank you very much for this build for the i9305
I have been waiting for the first lollipop build
I installed this rom and this is a written review after one hour of usage
1 the phone boots without any problem
2 lollipop gapps are working
3 Sometimes wifi works and sometimes no
4 Bluetooth works
5 some random reboots and sometimes it stuck so I need to remove the battery to get it working again
6 no FCs at all
7 seems fast
8 when I open an app installe from play store the phone stucks and I remove the battery
Thanks again and I wish u improve this rom in the coming days
Good job mate but I think it'll be better to edit your thread to make something more attractive, Flash Guide for noobs , links to gapps, alternative dl links , what works, what doesn't , credits , shiet like this would be better for everyone.
The main problem of your rom seems to be the kernel (random reboots , wifi issues , random freezes)
Anyways , good luck and thank you for the rom

This isnt meant for n00bs to flash yet. This is an alpha.
In Alphas you expect to get problems! This is only meant for testing and for trying out 5.0 on your device...
can we flash this normally?

So the latest build is the most stable one (CM12)? Can I help you in any way, testing, logs or something?

Well at this point in time no. I've just got to try to figure out whats going wrong still and then people can test to see if it works for them and if there is any long term problems with it. Until then its just make a change, compile and flash and I'll let people know if I get anywhere.
for me it is stuck on bootloop... first flashed wih wipe full/dalvik/cache then flashed gapps - bootloop. second dirty flashed again, booted, android is upgrading, optimizing apps, then rebooted and again bootloop... how to get past this ?
Tested. Boots okay. Data baseband ok. Incoming calls ok. Outgoing calls impossible. Tested with 2g

So, we are at the final step - outgoing calls, huh?
There also appeared some new commits on nameless gerit, just informing
Outgoing calls can be made now. But it seems to lockup when hanging up. New link in OP for 'new' build.
Calls should now work!
This is using old ril blobs so initial connection from boot will take longer. Also I think data is stuffed a bit. Seems to take a long time to get connected. Seems to work for me after that though. Post your finding please!
Hopefully Derteufel can figure out the problem with the newer blobs but till then this is working if anyone is interested.
Edit: only got one question. Can wifi be turned off. Will disabling it cause bootloops?

Great work. Will be swapping back to the i9305 from the note 2.. All we need now is for someone to work on the stock cm kernel to make it smoother.

Stock kernel? We are only using that to get data working... I'm sure Derteufel will switch to his own kernel as soon as he irons out the problems with phone calls locking up etc. (Or he switches to old RIL blobs for now)
Then there will be the challenge of getting R4P0 drivers to work properly.
After that who knows? Fix opensource compass?
Then Nameless may have other upgrades to implement for HWC.

tibu won't work without root . or is there any specific setting in tibu for gapps ? they are tiny but while flashing ROMs frequently it is a pain to install from play store.

Are you flashing tibu in recovery? Launch Tibu, go to menu and create 'update.zip' and be sure to create it as a system application. Reboot and flash the zip. You need a pro key

I flash tibu like this only. I was talking about restoring gmail, hangouts , google calendar, maps using tibu since these apps are not in the 5.1 gapps package.
Thanks
This is a solid build very satisfied with the way that you have done this......
Thanks to all the developers.....
Great ROM working perfectly . thanks and congratulations

Asserts error during the flashing your rom, any suggestions how can I flash without this errors?
dirty flash over previous and playstore app can't connect to server.
Same issue with camera-mod here here. But not even a reboot helped. Can't start the camera app anymore.
I started stock-camera and switched between front and back - no problems. But the camera-mod keeps telling me that it was stopped, every time I try to start it.
camera-mod bug in vm12.1
now I re-flashed the camera-mod and it still doesn't work
so I got back to Open Camera and I love it
quick boot
When i enabled quick boot mode in developer settings.. BOOM!!! The os crashed.. followed by bootloop.. Then i again.. Clean installed the rom. Other than that no problem. Its a very stable rom and that too for a rom in alpha stage.. Its unbelievable.. !! Good work guys!!

You should flash the gapps again.
Im willing to try out this ROM and experience 5.1 improvements. What are things that I should look out for before flashing? Are calling, texts, camera. etc working. Is it stable *enough*
Hey i got one question
I tried flashing the rom for severak hours, but I always get this error.
E:Cannot execute binary file.
I tried dirty flash, full wipe, even flashing from a clean install of CM11.
Can anybody help me?
download link dead
hey, just wanna say your link for OPO team nocturnal rom is dead
Awesome Work!
Hats off to Team Nocturnal for an an amazing piece of work. Can't thank you enough
Everything seems to be working flawlessly on built VM12.1 - 20150410 (radio, BT, GPS, sensors, etc) and I'm already into one week of flashing this rom. No lags or FCs whatsoever. I must admit, since first introduced to custom rom flashing, I've become
somewhat a flash junkie. Sometimes, switching roms on daily basis but this rom has given me no excuse.
Just one question though. Is, 6xxmb ram usage (with only basic system apps running) considered as memory leak?
I understand it's a common issue when running Lollipop.
Thanks again guys. Looking forward to future updates. (This is already perfect but I can't help it -Never Settle!)
Missing Appops
Hi. Thanks for the ROM. Are loving it, and at very impressed. I am missing Appops though. Hand I not done something? I flashed clean, then Gaps, then SU. Using the 15th April build.
Modem
Hi,
I had an issue of not receiving texts/sms/phone calls ON wifi.
I had this issue with Temasek's build and then switched to Nocturnals and the ROM still had this issue. I ended up going over to Blisspop's thread and using a modem alpha build they listed and this fixed the issue. Just FYI because I never had a funky issue with modem's or not receiving text/phone calls on wifi. Everyone else worked fine while off of wifi.
Other than that, I've played around with the ROM and it truly is a great experience with smoothness, now I'll be checking out that battery life!
Thanks team.

[ROM] [7.0] [EQK1] TrueStockN Custom ROM

TrueStockN is a ROM I originally developed for T-Mobile's s6 edge+. I opened it to the international s6 edge+ as compatibility was possible since ROMs for F can be used on T, and my theory proved right. Now, I'm thinking maybe N920T users can use this rom since the s6 can run Note 5 ROMs. I've yet to test it since I don't have a Note to test with but if you want more information or want to test, feel free to PM me or check out the original thread: TrueStockN
Update: On first installation for N920T users were reporting issues with the soft keys and camera. ROM seems to work flawlessly once you install a kernel for SM-N920T. Credits to @keith2012 for testing and finding a solution to the issue. So far only Poseidon Kernel has been reported to work wonders with this ROM, but other kernels have no yet been tested.
v4 beta with S Pen features is now live. Head to main thread if interested.
I will try it today and write if it works)

I tried v4, first bugs ive found were:
i didnt have signal so i guess i should use the call fix patch and weirdly my multitask and back keys were not working :/
---------- Post added at 10:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:50 PM ----------
after i flashed the call fix i got a ton of force crashes, it took me like 5 minutes to shut it down so i dont know about this rom, maybe i should install and another kernel but unfortunately i dont have time today and i need my phone tomorrow working so i hope these reports will help even a little bit, maybe one day i will come back)

Can I ask what device you are using? And installation method?I know Note 5 users have been having issues with the softkeys and were able to fix it with an app from the play store. As for call audio there should be no issues out of the box (TMO libs are untouched). My best bet would be you dirty flashed over an international rom, but just my guess. I would recommend reflashing with a complete wipe (dalvik, cache, system, data). Or you could wait for stable(I'll be uploading that in a few days).

i confirm that everything is working, the rom is very smooth but i have found a thing which i guess i cant fix, there are no s pen features, thats the only reason im not using an aosp rom(
Ok, I've added the spen functionality by flashing an archive found randomly through my files so now everything works, except that my network is acting kinda weird, this is the only time I could get 4g working but last 10 minutes only 2g was working and I was outside. I hope everything will work ) great rom so far ^^

Are you sure you just didn't have S Pen features off under advanced features? I have an entire section for them and I'm running v4 stable.
We dont have spen option in ours.. the top option says accesories and when clicking it ..it says fast charge

honestly, when i flashed it for the first time i didnt have them, i didnt have the spne features in advanced tab, when i was taking the pen off nothing happened, also when i tried to use the screen off memo also nothing happened...i really have no idea what happened then but i am happy that now everything works)

not sure what didn you mean specifically so i will answer both options:
if you meant the spen features, ive flashe before the kernel this file and if the rom does not have these features by default, it added them
if you meant the screen off memo, thats what i did, i downloaded both the S note and the Samsung notes apps, ive granted both all the permissions and i think ive restarted my hpone cause at first when i was getting off my pen, i was getting just a black screen, also i think ive updated all the apps (the point is that i did a lot of stuff to try to make it work and in the end it worked perfectly, i even can scroll down to make the note bigger)
Could you please share the phone, contacts and messages apks, i wanted full spen features soni flashed the s8 apps and without thinking too much ive got these apps force closing...
Thanks
ok, ive got the apps from the roms zip)
I would like to revive a Note 5 SM-N920T ,
Could someone post the latest firmware, kernel to get this up and running?
Is 8.1 Oreo available and working on it?
Thanks..

Thank you so much for this ROM. It was hard to not find a port but still debloated enough for my tastes . I am a T-Mobile variant and once I flashed posiden kernel as you suggested all was perfect. I got Xposed installed and working flawlessly. Thank you thank you . If you develop anything further please let me know and especially if there is a resurrection ROM that I can use. Or would the posiden kernel work with that ROM? I don't understand how that works exactly

I'm glad you like the ROM. Poseidon kernel wouldn't work with RR since RR is an AOSP based rom and would require it's own kernel. RR is out there though, if your willing to deal with its bugs.
