I was wondering if there is any rom that i could try to install on my blu life 8 xl... We were promised a lollipop update but nothing until now... already rooted my device but i'm not sure if i could try to install any custom rom... any help would be appreciated

That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you. I also see a number of references to your devices' family from a site search at http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=blu life xl which might be worth reviewing.
