i work in IT support. One of my users is having a problem with the s planner app on his galaxy note 3. some appointments and birthday reminders appear twice in the calendar. he is running android 4.2.2 if my memory serves me correctly. his mail is setup via active sync, the problem is not occuring on his WIN 8.1 laptop (outlook 2013) I haven't had much of an opportunity to try out different possible solutions. I have deleted the account and recreated it, restarted the device in between deleting and re-adding account. Looked through any setting that could maybe affect this. no luck.
I would greatly appreciate any ideas. Thank you
Hello
Welcome to XDA Assist.
Have you tried clearing data and cache of S planner ?
it would be in Settings --> Application Manager --> All Apps

Hi guys.
I am using on my PC's software named "BitMeter" from CodeBox. I want this graph also on my Note.
I have done this graph, but only as a standalone app.
Unfortunately I am not ready to finish it without your help.
This is my major question:
- How to run the app as a standalone drawable, that is displayed always on the top,and should be refreshed each second?
Note, all positions, graphics etc.will be hardcoded(for my needs),so there will be no need for me at the time to do some other settings screen etc.
Unfortunately,I am not able to post working apk, because my HDD in laptop has crashed few hours ago.
Thanks for your help.
well, this is my imagination, how it should appear when finished...
Nevermind guys.
After 3 weeks of waiting for some help,I did it myself.
Thank you...
Hi guys
So, this is my first thread here, and probably this is a much discussed issue, sorry if its so
Currently, I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini, running 4.1.2 factory ROM, the phone is rooted, and this is my second Android device, after a couple of years with a Galaxy Wonder
I saw a couple of topics on google about this issue: I installed Viber, and the app doubled (and tripled, and more) a lot of names on the contact list after syncro.
I've already unistalled and reinstalled the app a couple of times, and the problem remains
I'm using the contact list from my phone's memory
Any tip from you experts out there?
Kind regards
Antonio
Hi,
I'm afraid I can't find your issue. You can try wiping data for viber, but other than that...it sounds like an app issue. You may need to contact the app developer about that.
Feel free to ask for help in your device section if you'd like though....

Good luck!
Thanks, I'll do that

I recently upgraded my note 8.0 using CM 12-20150323-Unofficial N5100 and I need help because the note now will not detect the Sim card resulting in me not being able to use 3G or make calls or send SMS messages. And I noticed that there doesn't appear to be a recent app tile as per the usual android. Everything else is working great even the WiFi connectivity. Apps seems to run smoothly and the Sim card and recent apps tile are the only issues so far.
Please help if there is an upgrade or a patch I can download to solve this very pressing issue. Thanks guys!!!!

Hi! I've experienced some trouble yesterday while connecting to a wifi network and my phone rebooted. I don't think this matters but I have a One Plus One running stable cyanogenmod 5.1 . The thing is that now I've lost all my wifi passwords linked to my google account, and just want to know how to sync them again.
I know this is a pretty basic thing but I don't really know how to solve it. Thanks for reading btw

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
I never knew about the Google Wifi sync. Guess it doesn't work for any of my devices either. I do see it's a thing though.
This thread talks about Google Sync issues in general, though it should provide what you are looking for:
> OnePlus One > ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Google Sync Problems
Please note, you will need an XDA account to post there (which would be the right spot if you run into problems).
Hope this helps, and good luck!
Hello ! I have a rooted Galaxy S3 phone. The problem im having is an annoying check your connection. The playstore would be able to browse apps, but as soon as I went to the apps page to install it would return Check your connection and try again. I've encountered this error on my other Device and as soon as I saw it on primary device it just made me want to kill myself. This problem has haunted me for years, I was unable to use Playstore, so I uninstalled it on my old Device, Factory reset, yet the problem still persists. I decided to sell my device. To get this new Phone only to discover the same ****ing error. I tried googling online for a solution, I was up from 12am to 7am right now just trying to fix it. However, I somehow managed to get an even worse error by clearing data of the google play apps: Error while retrieving information from server. I also googled this, it was even worse then the other error. The only solution I have left is to factory reset, BUT I DONT WANT TO ****ING FACTORY RESET. I'VE DONE THIS BEFORE AND THE SAME ERROR ENDURES. WTF IS GOOGLE PLAY THINKING, THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL AN APP, WHY WOULD YOU RELEASE THIS TO YOUR CONSUMERS IF THIS ERROR EXSIST, ****ING RETARDED GOOGLE PLAY. Anyways, can someone please help me, im losing sleep and time I could've been doing other things...
