Personally I've always been a fan of having my phone in a belt pouch instead of in my pocket. With the size of the Nexus 4 and the large plates of glass on both sides I'm seriously afraid of breaking it in my pocket. To that end I've tried two different belt pouches.
First up was a trip to my local BestBuy. Their options were limited so I left with a Eddie Bauer generic large phone case.
This case is definitely built to handle phones that are much thicker than our Nexus 4. The back is also segmented which could allow the closure to adjust to accommodate phones of a range of widths.

The intent is nice, but the result is a case that feels like the phone could fall out easily as the closure is opened.
Needless to say I did return that case.
Next up was the Luxmo LU8HBK. This is advertised as a case for the Galaxy S3 which happens to be just around the same size as the Nexus 4. The fit here is MUCH better. While the closure is a bigger flap than I'm used to, the phone fits securely while still being easy to remove. It looks like this pouch will accomodate a thin case such as the Rearth Ringke. I have one on order but its still in transit.
I had a hunch the Luxmo would fit better, and at $5ea (at the time I ordered) I figured it best to get two.
Thanks OP. I have the same worry about my pocket as you. I read water meters and, as such, squat and kneel a lot.
Ordered my Nexus 4 on the 13th. Still waiting.
I want to buy a case that has a flip mirror cover. Something like the Arium or Anymode. But my question is, are these cases still waterproof? The rear cover of the S5 is probably made specifically to withstand water. I would like to take my phone into the pool or shower for up to 20min and I don't want any water damage. Any suggestions? I like this one especially by XNR www.ebay.com/itm/321415545762?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
The only way to know would be if it has that rubber gasket on it like the OEM back cover does. No where in that listing does it state that it maintains the IP67 rating, so I would be suspicious of that if you are interested in keeping the "waterproof"

if you are after the brand anymode, and if they do have a rubber seal, it's more likely supports the IP67, anymode is the only company to have their product certified by samsung, anymode is more like a sister company to samsung.
No. All these cases do not support the IP67

There is no rubber seal in the anymode case and I believe there isn't one in the XNR either.
The Arium cases are by far the best because they don't replace the OEM rear cover provided by samsung. The Arium case is a complete separate housing and won't interfere with the IP67 certification.

Was prime when I ordered it. Anyways, this is pretty much the same bumper that's being sold on ebay from china. It covers the left mic hole on the bottom for the non verizon variant but calls works just fine. It feels somewhat flimsy but overall not bad for a few bucks. Impact to cellular signal was give or take 8% and impact to wifi near none. Fits fairly well on my phone. I took it on and off a few times did not seem to scratch since I was careful.
Overall I would recommend it if you just wanted some edge protection. I was thinking of using it daily but figured I would wait until replacement camera lens were 4 bucks on ebay (as they became so for the note 3,2 etc) You pretty much get what u see in the product picture.

Typo for the word thoughts, please fix. Thanks Mods.
Could you post a couple more pictures of it? Is there anything on the inside that would protect the Note 4 from scratching when you are putting it inside the case?
can you share more photos from different angle?

It will scratch the metal frame on the Note 4 when you put it on, And it covers the left mic on N910C.
Please be careful, I used a similar case on the Note 3 and it scratched the frame.
I dont really mind the scratches, it will scratch over time either way,
Just cover it with an case
Call me a Sammy fanboy if you may, here I am who jumped into the wagon and join others who are so eager to get S6 and was oblige to get a screen protector to protect this $700+ device. I’ve ordered IllumiShield screen protector from Amazon, because at that time it was really selling relatively cheap and also the product has nice review. I’ve received it recently and was totally satisfied. Easy to apply, stick and peel kind of thing, no damn water spray or special potion to use during application. Result was smooth, feels like glass, and does not look like thin saran wraps or so. Easy to take off and re-apply. For stubborn hair and specks of dust, the masking tape did its job wonderfully. So, there’s my new found screen protector.

So have you gotten your screen protector? If so, what's yours?
Yup I am using it too. I tried two tempered glass screen protectors (iSmooth and a generic brand) and they both had some serious halo effects due to the nature of the curved screen on the phone. Too bad, I really like glass screen protectors, but I don't think that it's possible on the S6.
I used illumishield for the Surface pro 3 and it was perfect so I tried it for the S6 and it is almost perfect. You have to get it on exactly in order to avoid the halo effect but it works and it works well.
Yep. The key is to do the installation properly. It takes time to master it but its worth it.
Hi All, I bought a few of these Note 9 "Full screen" liquid glue tempered glass screen protectors and they arrived a little while ago.
The first issue was that the instructions are not clear and are pretty hard to understand, they mention "Place the sticker over the hole in the handset. Stick the key hole with a label." which I assume means I should put a sticker over the speaker but there is no included sticker for this purpose, I had to use one of the dust removal stickers for this purpose but this turned out to be a bad choice as sticker is too big and if any part of it that is under the screen, when you remove the sticker, it will pull glue out from under the screen with it (as seen in the photo below) and also the glue made it separate and glue got underneath it, thankfully there was no damage to the speaker.

The other issues are that it was advertised as a "Full screen" screen protector but it clearly isn't, as shown above and below and finally, within a couple of days of it being installed, dust was getting under all 4 corners, so I removed it as I was concerned the screen could be scratched.
I suspect that this would make a decent top up kit for someone that has already got a Whitestone Dome kit but that's about it, not recommended.
Sadly the Gorilla Glass 5 on the Note does not appear to be the same a other phones with Gorilla Glass 5, I already have scratches on the screen whereas my LG V30 that I used for 9 months prior is still almost flawless.
