Guys my friend has a nexus 5 and on his device none of the chat applications will work over cellular data (whatsapp viber)... However whatsapp and viber works on wifi network without any problem....Any suggestions??... His device is running stock unrooted firmware.... Thanks in advance

Anyone else notice that to use the Rogers partner network you have to enable data roaming? This wasn't the case before 4.4.3.

Hey guys. I have a nexus 5 on T-Mobile. I pay for unlimited data which also comes with them shutting off native hotspot.
Now I am rooted running paranoid android
Is there a way to wifitether that isn't blocked/detected by carrier?

Downloaded lollipop on my rooted nexus 5 and everything is working perfect except cell reception. I have no coverage in my basement where before I had at least one bar and can make phone calls. Any help would be appreciated I just need to be able to make cell phone calls from my basement. I'm on AT&T network

Flash an old modem. There is a thread somewhere but the first hit on Google for "nexus 5 modem" will pull it up.
