I am on the latest Lollipop and can't root so is there any other way to remove boomsound because I can't turn it off when I have a DAC plugged in via usb and its ruining the sound.

This happens with ViperROM and LoliGPE so I do not think it's a ROM-specific issue.
My phone suddenly started to have this problem where after I have a phone call (call speaker) or use earphones, it does not switch back to those two dual speakers.
If it was a phone call, everything I play (videos, games) will now start outputting sound from the headset speaker.
If I used the AUX cable to other sound output devices (earphones, for example), the sound won't play until I plug it back.
What's interesting is that the device seem to still know that sound output has changed because "boomsound" is disabled and says something like "cannot disable boomsound as you're using internal speakers" on the sound settings.
I have no sound mod installed, and am currently using LoliGPE 5.1, S-OFF, rooted and unlocked.
So I've got V4A pre-installed in a stock-based android 5.0 rom. It works all well(only when I reboot my phone with the headphone jack plugged in). If I remove the jack, then place it back, V4A stops working no matter what I try thereafter. Only rebooting again with the jack in solves it. Even rebooting the phone, and then putting in the jack won't get V4A to fire up. I've already tried clearing the background processes of V4A and the music app, but it still doesn't work. Anyone can help?
EDIT: It also works after rebooting without audio jack plugged in.
Hi everyone,
I have a Logitech G930 wireless headphone and when I connect it to my phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge) it almost works perfectly.
So the volume is too low. I set it to maximum but it's not even close to the level when I use the headphone with my PC.
I can use the headphone to control my phone(start/stop music and set volume).
There is a dongle for the headphone. It is connected to my phone via OTG.
Is there any way I can increase the volume without rooting my phone?
Thanks in advance
Hello!
I can't use my phone's earpiece speaker during calls because the phone insists that a headphone is connected to the headphone jack, despite the fact that the 3.5mm jack is already removed from the device (had a repairman remove it for me).
Apps that should do the trick work only halfway (it reroutes media audio but not in call audio. I have to put it on speaker mode everytime I do a call.)
So, the question is, can I disable wired headset detection on my device using build.prop or any method that tweaks the OS itself? My phone's rooted, btw.
Thanks in advance!
@BsofBordeaux Did you find answer for your question?
Did you get it fix ?
I bought 3.5 dust plug jack. And I'm using it's buttons. But android is considering it as a headphone and always routing the audio to it not the phone speakers nor the Bluetooth. I need to completely disable it as a media output. My phone is rooted and ready for any solution.
