[Completed] incoming call problem - XDA Assist

Certain incoming calls ( local) are being displayed on my CDMA mobile as +0091xxxxxxxxxx
The phone rings but the green slider does not work only for such calls.
Eventually the call does not get connected.

Sir,

Good luck

We need more details about your device or post directly here after you register an account on XDA:
It is Samsung Galaxy S3 CDMA mobile , model No: SCH R530U Baseband version R530UVXUBMJA.
Downloaded "shortcut master(lite) " from google play, but did not find any additional settings that could help.
Prefixer app could only change the incoming number in its own window.
Problem is more prominent when both caller and user( CDMA) are in the same city.

Hi,
I'm not sure if the info in this thread can help at all, it's in the HTC one X section. It seems viber doesn't Play well with some custom roms on some devices.
> HTC One X > One X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q] viber and mobile voip problems
Other than that, I'd say contacting Viber support, if they have that, would be a good idea. Also, it could be another app that uses the microphone conflicting with viber.
If you have a backup of the older Viber, you could go back to it.
Lastly, you could ask here, since it may not be a device specific issue... But you will need to register on XDA to post here,

Good luck!
Thank you. Thread closed.

[Completed] [Q] Bluetooth after Android 4.4.4 Update

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 on AT&T and I just updated to Android 4.4.4
I have been having issues with the Bluettoth since the new update.
I can connect all my devices just fine, but i cant use any one of my devices for Media.
I have tried:
Car Bluetooth Stereo
Wireless Keyboard
Samsung Gear 2 watch
Selfie Stick
On all my devices I am able to connect and pair normally, but when i use each device it wont allow me to use each of its functions.
Example. On my car bluetooth stereo, I can answer my calls, but i cannot play music from spotify, i heart radio, regular music app, netflix, youtube, ect..
I noticed a "Media Audio" box under the bluetooth setting for my stereo that i should check to allow the audio, but whenever I attempt to press it, it will not allow me to check the box.
I am unable to check this box for the setting under my wireless keyboard, and for my selfie stick as well.
Can someone help me find a solution

PS. I in no way think your question is stupid, it's just the way that help thread is named.

[Completed] [Q] Question about Android SMS in Hangouts

Hi - I don't know in which thread I should post this question:
I have a group of team members to whom we will be sending SMS notifications when there is an available consult for them to claim. Inside this SMS will be a consultation ID that must be entered into our automated call service for them to claim the consultation and move forward.
The initial plan was for the SMS to include the phone number as a link, with a pause extension and the consultation ID so that the Member would only have to tap the link to respond.
"There is a new consultation available - to accept, tap the link below
555-555-5555,,,12345#"
On iOS devices, this is working perfectly well, but it appears that Android is unable to recognize the comma characters as a part of the number, as only the 10 digit phone number is a part of the link.
Is there any way around this, or is this just a lacking feature that Android lacks?

The package name is "System" and I think this is the first time I see it , it triggered after I recieved an SMS message ( not MMS ) , and it keep requesting the connection until now !
And the other strange odd thing is that whenever I go to the request details it show me that the package is Unininstalled !!
requested IPs:

96.8.91.112:8890
Any suggestions ?

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Not sure if it's liget or not...the IP could be your carrier. Could do a reverse lookup, or do a trace route on the IP's to see how many bounces away it is.
At any rate, please register for an account, so you can post in other forums. From there, Please check out the following thread (add a post):

Hope this helps, and good luck!
