disable chameleon
How can I disable the chameleon engine "feature" that constantly changes the status bar color? I have looked through the settings but found no option. I have installed the xposed framework and experimented with three modules that control the status bar color trying to override it, but chameleon overrode all of them.

and how is chameleon engine installed into the system? I've been looking all over for the source, but haven't found it yet.
Is it built into the kernel? Then I could just replace it. Is it a setting or plugin where I can manually hack my OS files?

I was looking for a stable kitkat rom to use as my daily driver and CandyKat has been great. I have been using it as my daily driver for the past week and its performance has been excellent, just one random reboot, call quality could be better but its not too bad.

Front camera video recording fix????
Has anyone figured out a fix for the front camera video recording. Ive been reading forums, all I have found is "use a different camera app". which I have tried and still no front facing camera video. What has been the work around for you all?
UKM
What is the importance of installing the UKM? I attempted to install it with the rom, gapps and super su. I had issues so i wiped and clean flashed the rom, gapps and super su, without the UKM. It appears to have no issues. im just curious what i would be missing if i didnt install a UKM.
First boot stucks on black screen
I've flashed this rom with multirom TWRP, my first boot stucks on the black screen after the boot animation for more than 30 minutes. I've tried several releases but I've got the same result

Can't install the v26 of Lightning Kernel.Very strange because previous version v25 working good.The ROM which I use is Caf AICP.
ANY HELP WILL BE appreciated.
Same with v27 , when try to flash the twrp stuck to " install kernel " without finish or error

That might be your issue who knows... There's versions of twrp that aren't able to do what most others can like flash a modem

thanks for the rom. it runs pretty smooth, i only noticed one issue so far. when i place or receive a call, the screen does not show its connected or hanging up. I had this happen on the latest nighlies from cyanogenmod. im sure it will get worked out as the time passes. On the other hand I connected my bluetooth a few times to my car with zero issues. thanks again

after resetting the phone a few times(because the phone was stuck on the calling/hang up screen), i have not noticed the calling functions give me trouble anymore.
For some reason i was unable to flash another keyboard( swype modded blue), tried twice. strange.

This is the best CM12 based I've tried. And it has amazing battery life! Way better than I ever had. Only problem I've had is some music skipping over bluetooth, same as others. What is new in the 1/20 build?

Bluetooth probably will still be an issue for a couple weeks, it is being worked diligently by many. Between CM and BS changes best changelog can be found through GIT and link provided in OP. I cannot list all commit changed every build. If there is something big I try to mention, but am running/building multiple roms
I'm having an issue where within the supplied phone app when I dial a number and hit call or touch a contact to call the phone app stalls. It takes several seconds for the app to then switch to the calling mode.
Does anyone know if this is a known issue for the Nameless 5.0.2 ROM or CM12 in general? I'm on the Nameless Rom build LRX22G, the 1/22/2015 build.

Hi, I flashed your last build about 24 hours ago and it doesn't really have any severe issues in my opinion. No FCs (except for Swiftkey, occasionally), smooth, no problems restoring apps with TB, no reboots at all, normal battery life. Anyway, I noticed the status bar is a bit laggy, sometimes it takes a lot to refresh and the root symbol just won't go away, reboot needed. For this particular matter, I also couldn't find the option to disable the root symbol in the bar Settings, am I missing something? Thanks for your hard work, though!

Can I do this just via the CMUpdater as I used to do with the other updates so far?

Tried build 20150601 and 20150603 and "No SIM card" bug appearing. Cannot search for networks (infinite searching). Gonna try 20150602 from autoupdate.

It's themed and Android 5.1.4 doesn't exist.

I will try it but iam new at 'ROOT,FLASH AND THIS STUFF.. and i dont really know much about logcats
So i flashed it.. all works good except this:
1. no GSM on my XED
2. i dont know but the led (down) is always on and blue light..
GSM fix for XPERIA E DUAL
Flash xperia e SS firmware first then flash the rom
i think that might work......
the only disadvantage is you can only use one sim...........!!

Settings app crashes when I open Power management in advanced settings.It also crashes when trying some personalization settings.
Can you add battery percentage?Can you add reboot option to power button?
In apps settings, since the font is in black and also the background is dark grey, mobile has to be tilted to view names of the apps.Only running apps have white fonts.
Also in power widgets, many widget buttons are selected but only 8 widgets are shown in notification drawer.
On my phone it does not start. Are there many people with this problem? Did someone find a solution?
