Simplest Shopping List is my second application in the Simplest series. The first was was Simplest Reminder. I decided to make Simplest Shopping List because just like with the reminder application I could not find a shopping list application with super simple user interface. I was looking for something with minimal number of features. Basically this application is a replacement for a shopping list written on a piece of paper It is compatible with Android 4.1 and up (API 16 and up) and is styled based on Material Design guidelines.
Without further adieu I present you the Simplest Shopping List

Other info:
- this application is completely ad-free
- pro version is available and it has the ability to learn custom items, additionally it has custom items manager
- requires absolutely no permissions
EDIT:
- Lowered requirements description from 4.1 to 4.0.3
- Many improvements to functionality (removed most prompts and added undo button instead)
- list no longer jumps to top when adding, removing, carting items or undoing any of those actions
I fixed TextBox style in version 1.0.1
Polish, Italian, and Spanish translations coming soon!
Handy app. I was looking for something like this a few days ago.
Thanks
Thanks Keep it up
If you have any suggestions for my app please let me know. I will have some time this weekend so I can work on improvements.
Thanks!
Lots of changes done recently. Some of them include:
- removed advertisement
- Many improvements to functionality (removed most prompts and added undo button instead)
- list no longer jumps to top when adding, removing, carting items or undoing any of those actions
- removed all required permissions
- Pro version now available. It has the ability to learn new items. You can also manage those custom items in an easy way (add, edit, remove)
Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions
I've always looked for a simple shopping list app like this. Material is nice as well.
My suggestions:
- option to show and increase/ decrease the amount of a product
- ability to make more than one list
- option to move items to seperate shops which are listed in the androidlike slideout menu (grocery store, hardware store, pharmacy, ...)
- save list(s) to sd-card for backup
- option to not only share a list but to edit it and sync it to other devices (not sure if possible)
- option to make notes for a list
- option to insert pictures to items

With all respect, are we talking about the same app? My app is called SIMPLEST Shopping List. It is not meant to be overloaded by menus, options, config screens. It is meant to be a replacement for a piece of paper. There are tens, if not hundreds, of Shopping Lists out there with tons of options, configs, menus and I dislike them all because they are too clunky and creating my list takes too many steps.
It looks very simple and useful...

Task'd is the premiere task manager and to-do list app for Android™ devices. It was designed with the user in mind to be beautiful, functional, and simple. The goal is to help you, the user, better manage your priorities and schedule.
The user interface is intuitive, with clearly marked and recognizable icons. Everything is right at your fingers, not hidden inside some obscure menu or tab. Editing a task is as simple as clicking it in the main list. Want to delete a task? Just long-press it and click delete.
Each task you create must have a name and a priority. Optionally, it can also have a due date and a description containing more details.
You can sort your tasks by priority (default), due date, order added, and alphabetically. You can also change the date format if you use a different standard than the default MM-DD-YYYY.
The full version of Task'd also includes a 4x1 homescreen widget that allows you to see all your tasks, or create a new one.
The free version will always remain one update behind the full version. Currently, it is only lacking the widget. Once the full version receives an update, the free version will get the widget, but not the new features. Bug fixes will still be rolled out as necessary.
Of course, the obligatory screenshots are attached at the end of the post. As for the QR codes with Market links:

Android is a trademark of Google Inc.
Does it sync with google tasks?
Currently no, however sync with Google Tasks and proper Honeycomb support are the next two things on my list.
Really liking the look of this, am constantly on the lookout for a nicer task manager.
I love the simplistic approach and UI. One suggestion might be an option to turn off the custom font? It is pretty funky but a little overwhelming on the eyes when used everywhere..
Also like your idea of keeping the free version one behind the paid, an approach I haven't seen before Looking forward to see what the widget it like, if Im still using this in a couple of days will definitely get the pro version. Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely add in an option for the custom font. I can't get rid of it everywhere (specifically the buttons) but the option will let you ditch it in the task list and the edit/create screen.
I believe I've only seen the free behind paid model one or two other times, and I really liked it. It lets users see what they're getting in its entirety, yet still give them an incentive to upgrade.
Is there a way to sync between two users? Like myself and my girlfriend are looking for a syncing task list so we can put to-dos for each other without any manual effort.

If you set up Google Tasks sync with the same email account in the app, then they'll sync between devices. You don't need to use the same Google account on the phone itself, or on other devices, only when you set up sync in Task'd. I'll be sure to update this post once I get it updated.

- Not have Wish l!st installed on the device from Google Play.
- Know how to install an APK from outside the Play store.

Download Beautiful Battery Widget from Google Play
I forgot to mention. I'm really want to create most beautiful and functional battery app.
So, I'm open for feedback, ideas or suggestions. Currently, I have few ideas for the next version, but I want to ask community first.
Here is my todo list:
Add battery life prediction. Here I mean something more smart than linear regression. I want to analyze user activity and make prediction based on this data. Also this feature implies adding new widget that displays chart with prediction.
Display battery info in the status bar.
Add ability to configure on widget click action. So, you will able to select between "themes", "Usage", and "Consumers" page or run external application.
Add more beautiful themes. This is premium functionality, because all themes will be created by designer. So, I need money to pay the designer's work. You pay once, and all new themes will be available for installation. At best, I want to create few new themes per month.
Add ability to create your own battery design based on some predefined layout.
What is the most important for you? Or maybe you want something else?
common guys, I need your opinion!
Good news everyone!

Unfortunately it looks like TheFoxute has ripped off this app (along with several other open source apps) on Google Play, with zero attribution to original authors (again). This is a well known problem with the Play store, and one reason I don't recommend using it.
So if you're looking to donate to open-source developers, know that in general "buying" from Google Play may not be supporting the developer, and worse yet, could possibly have some unwanted "extras" added by whoever changed the app and added it to Play.

Thanks for bringing this to my notice. Did not know of such cheap tricks! I will report the Play store app immediately.
EDIT: I notified both TheFoxute and the Play store support team about the infringement and the app got removed yesterday.
This badly needs an easier way to access and scroll through the records. It is so hard to tap the dots on the graph. Maybe when the info window comes up add the ability to swipe the very top to go through the records and keep the swipe at the bottom to scroll through created, deleted, changed. Or just add next and previous buttons. Also when I use the delete records from the options it does nothing, all the records are still there, and where does it save the log too also....love the concept, the UI just needs a few more options.

Thanks for the feedback!
I will be adding the UI improvements in the next version. The plot needs a refresh after data is deleted, have to fix that too.
Logging is part of the standard logcat, tag is the app package name.
Awesome, thanks. Keep up the good work.
