Yep, unfortunately that's a brick. There are some guys in the M forum that are working on a solution and it might work on the HD, but nothing yet

They're not working on a HD, so I have no idea. You need to go over to thread and check it out.
I have a razer HD on verizone it is xt-926,
I was rooting it , but unfortunately i have did it with wrong rom, now it is blank screen and pc showing Qualcomm HS-USB QLoader 9008,
any one can help me to solve it.
or any one can help me to finds its logic board online at reasonable price.
thanx in advance.
Re-read the first 2 posts of this thread, that should answer your question about being bricked. You'd be better off just getting a new board, like you said.
Since were talking about bootloaders and recoveries, I am trying to flash a recovery to my razr maxx hd that is unlocked on 4.4.2. When I try to flash any files is tells me (Bootloader) Variable not supported! I have tried about 8 different versions of cwm and twrp and no soap. Any ideas?
Thanks

Go to droidrzr.com and download TWRP 2.8.6.0 (img) for your variant(XT926 or XT925)... Download Flashify from Play Store, grant root access, backup STOCK recovery, flash the TWRP .img and reboot into your shiny new TWRP recovery!
Thanks I'll try that
No problem bud. If you have any other issues or questions feel free to PM me @Latheman

I was installing a rom on my Rogers One X.
I can't post the link, but it is the "IceColdJelly AOKP ROM" posted recently on onexroot.com
EDIT: Found it on XDA. yes, it is for the international version
The instructions say:
To install, reboot into recovery, do data wipe/factory reset, install ROM, install Gapps, then extract boot.img from ROM zip file and flash with fastboot.

I did everything except for the last step, but then I accidentally rebooted the phone. Now my phone seems to be completely dead. I can't boot to the bootloader, I can't do anything. Even the charging light does not come on when I plug it into my PC.
When I plug it in to my PC it shows up as "Qualcomm QHSUSB_HBOOT" in the Windows device manager, but does not show up in adb, or fastboot.
Am I screwed??

Cannot stress this enough, do not flash anything that isn't posted in the dev sections of this forum...I believe IceColdJelly is for the international (Tegra 3) One X and you may have overwritten your boot sector and recovery. If you can't get the charging light to come on then you are most likely out of luck.

But I have the Rogers One X, which I think is Telstra right?
Anyway, I found the rom's page on XDA:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1796340
It is posted in the "HTC One X" forum, so that's not the Telstra version then, right?
Nevermind, I was mixed up about the versions. Yes, the rom is for the wrong version of the One X.
Thanks for the replies guys.

Might be possible to fix in Linux? I've heard that using the linux-only tools, it is possible to write to a partition even when the bootloader is broken. Anybody ever heard of this?

Rogers is Rogers, Telstra is Telstra. Telstra is an Australian carrier.
Seems like the OP had a fundamental lack of basic understanding of what they were even looking at when flashing ROMs, which is of course a no-no.
Tough crowd lol
I am well aware of the difference between my hoc and the international version. I got mixed up by the "Telstra" thing. I thought it was the same as the rogers/at&t version.

They are essentially the same. Rogers or Telstra makes no difference, they are both the Snapdragon S4 version of the One X/XL. ROMs are interchangeable. How did this have anything to do with flashing a ROM for the international version?
My main point of my previous post, if you are mixed up, confused, etc. about any aspect of what you are doing when flashing ROMs or doing other mods, STOP, DO NOT PROCEED. Figure it out before proceeding, as you see what the consequence of not doing so is . . . a sexy looking paperweight.

Do you have the 2.20 hboot? I imagine you do if you just rooted today. If that is the case you're lucky since hboot partition is read only and cannot be clobbered. Just re-flash TWRP recovery via fastboot and flash a ROM for the one XL and you should be good to go.
If you have pre-2.20 hboot you might be bricked.

Is this confirmed to work on One X's bricked from flashing international ROMs? I've seen it mentioned several times before that Qualcomm download mode can be recovered from using a Linux computer. But this is the first time I've actually seen the instructions. And it really doesn't look all that complicated.
Seems like quite a few people that have bricked (by flashing international ROMs) would benefit from this, and it deserves its own thread.

Cannot confirm if this can fix a corrupted hboot partition, but it's worth a shot. Haven't found any solid guides for pushing a new hboot partition to the phone while in this mode yet. Also do not want to brick my phone to test it

Totally possible. I don't recall, or haven't seen it. I've seen a few posts to the effect of "if you have Linux, it can be fixed, PM me" but that is all I've seen. Would be nice if there was a writeup we can point people to (and I can add to my index thread).
Go to Evo 4g LTE forum and go to original development. 1st page should have a thread by yarrimapirate about downgrade. He recently figured how to brick, downgrade hboot and get s-off from QHuSB. How far have you got? Have you unlocked the bootloader through fastboot?
Once that's done it's fairly easy. Just fastboot flash a custom recovery. I recommend Team Rogues recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1235170
then reboot the device, but go into recovery before the device boots or the recovery is overwritten. To get into recovery: power on, 2 seconds later press the down button, then press the up button once you see 'Android Recovery'
Then flash the zip I have attached to root the device. Choose the JB one if you're on jelly bean, anything else, so honeycomb or ICS use the other one.
From there it's the same as any other device. Backup apps etc, make a nandroid, wipe data/factory reset, install CM10

That's something to do with CM reads the device as XOOM but on stock a wingray is MZ604 so if I remember rightly that's what causes the status 7, to get around it, once rooted use a build prop editor to change your model to XOOM not MZ604. I think that's the way to get around it if my memory serves me well

Don't me hold to it, but I seem to remember others getting status 7 errors and it was just to do with how the CM zip reads your device. You can also turn off script verification in android recovery. I think that was also another solution

Hey guys,
I'm somewhat new to Jailbreaking and Rooting Android Devices. I was working on my rooted 4.0.4 Atrix 2 today and wanted to install JellyBean. My first attempt I used the RSD lite program to install it. Found it I was using the wrong ROM (I'm a noob) and was stuck at the bootloader. Then, I used Wonderful RSD lite to use my fxz I downloaded. I'm pretty sure i downloaded the wrong one, so It flashed and got to step 5 and then gave me a fail. Now the device won't power on and it's either because I went from a soft brick to a hard brick. Or, the battery died. i have the original charging which i'm doing right now. Please help I'm scared ****less.

If you can still get into fastboot mode, then it isn't hardbricked yet. What model is your phone? If it is AT&T branded, DO NOT FLASH IT!! It is for Asian retail, and international phones only.

Yeah, I was able to get it into Fastboot. When I was able to (Past Tense) I tried re-flashing it with RSDLite using a FXZ. But, I believe it was the wrong one and It attempted to flash and got stuck at 5/23 which was the bootloader. And now it won't boot, but I do believe it charges. Just won't turn on at all. It is under warranty

I hate to say this, it looks like you have hard bricked your A2. If it is still under warranty, return it to the vendor and play dumb. Do not tell your vendor that you tried to do a fxz. Good luck.
As the subject states I have a Roger's Razr HD (XT925) that was GSM unlocked for use here in the US. It was rooted and bootloader unlocked and used for a while without problem. I recently decided to upgrade to a new phone and did a factory reset of the HD in preparation to sell it. It got stuck in boot loop but I was able to boot fine in recovery and everything worked fine. I forgot power it off and the battery drained. When plugged into AC it will not charge. Plug it into a PC and USB connection sounds like it's loading drivers. Device manager shows QHSUSB_DLOAD. Any attempt to boot into recovery mode when plugged in yields a couple green flashes from the LED and that's it. When unplugged, absolutely nothing. I did make a Motorola data adapter and connected the phone to the PC. The green light comes on for a few seconds and then goes out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really need to revive this phone.
QHSUSB_DLOAD is a perma-brick, unfortunately. I haven't seen anyone on here recover from it.

Thanks. I'll check it out.
So I had chance to check out the link and I think the solution to the problem is simpler than that. I know the phone was booting into fastboot when it had a charge. It's possible my DIY factory cable isn't a good one. The RAZR/MAXX/AtrixHD have a simple two pin battery that can charged by opening the case. The battery for the HD has 4 pins however I cannot find the pinout for it. Can any tell me which are the positive and negative? I can cut and hook up an USB cable to them to charge the battery directly and then I should be able to boot the phone and repair the ROM.
Edit: I was able to get my hands on a multimeter and found that the there's 1 positive pin and 3 negative ones?!?!
did you try to leave your xt 925 plugged to pc for little while, then attempt to get it into fastboot?

Yes. I left it overnight.
Well then you cant do jack , i noticed battery stays ok in xt925 while on fastboot but I guess if batty is completely out, it is a different story. You will revive it man, gotta get hold of factory cable or a spare battery
OK... I have been able to charge the battery and can get to fastboot. Now I just the Rogers stock ROM because I thought I had the bootloader unlocked but don't. I found a couple links but the site is dead. The phone boots directly into AP fastboot.

Look at page 71 onwards in XT925 kitkat tracking thread. There's a link I posted for the Rogers 4.1.2 JB SBF.

Awesome! Thank you! I'm downloading it now.
I just can't win!!! I tried flashing that ROM with RSDLite 6.1.4 and now I'm getting a security downgrade error. Is there a newer ROM I should be using? I cannot seem to find it if there is.

Comment out TZ/Partition in XML when downgrading and already upgraded device. You're gonna need the tz/partition from a 4.4.2 build and flash those I believe. There's lots of info on this here just don't have it handy to link for you.

I don't find anywhere in the XML that has a tz/partition statement. Being that this is a Canadian device I only had the stock ICS on it.
I thought I had a Rogers RAZR HD after some research I found that I have a Fido one. So, I have to find the Fido ROM
