I have recently tried to s-on my phone as I wish to set it back to stock so I can sell it on, unfortunately the boot loader will not let me do anything as when I try I get this error FAILED (remote: signature verify fail), I get this error when I try to unlock the bootloader.
I have tried flashing and RUU which then I get error 131 customer ID error, but I cant read or write the CID because of this error.
I have no idea what to do, what I have done wrong I tried an S-On tool which gave it S-on but now the bootloader wont work properly, recovery wont load or even flash same error as above, I have no OS installed and recovery and bootloader always loading up even by just pressing the power button.
my bootloader screen is

Security warning disappears after I try loading recovery which it boots it back into bootloader. please help me searched everywhere cant find anything and I need to sell this phone on. Thanks for reading hope you can help me.
Do u know what ur CID is? Ruu failed coz u used the wrong ruu. Boot into bootloader, sekect fastboot, plug in ur phone to pc and fadtboot command
fastboot getvar all
It will show ur cid and version-main then u can find the correct ruu.

I have had my HTC sensation 4G rooted for a bit now, and I needed to send it in for repair so I needed to unroot it.
I followed the guide on theunlockr for unrooting the HTC sensation 4G.
After doing
adb reboot-bootloader
fastboot oem writesecureflag 3
fastboot reboot-bootloader
The phone only boots into that screen, I have tried and searched for a bit. Not really sure what to search for though.
At the top it says

Thanks for any help you can give!
you get it fixed?
i am having the same problem, need some help
As long as it says S-ON, you should be fine. try
adb reboot recovery
and get into recovery and wipe everything
and then download stock recovery and then flash the recovery from
adb reboot fastboot
fastboot flash recovery *recoveryname*.img
bang and you're done.
or run the RUU.

Seven vibrations can sometimes mean that your partitions have became corrupted. While you are s-on this will be very hard to fix. If I was you I would try to locate someone near you with access to an xtc clip. Its a hardware device that can s-off certain htc models, yours included. Once you have s-off you could then run a ruu and hopefully your hboot would be able to fix the damaged partitions. Failing that gaining access to someone with a j-tag like a riff box would allow them to perform a full restore of the nand, s-on or not, and they could rebuild your partitions. Given that you are s-on and cannot flash a stable ROM software is not a viable option.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your help.
I'll try with xtc clip somewhere.
Thank you a lot.

There is no HTCunlock for this bootloader version.
Use the command
fastboot getvar all
to find you exact software number (example 1.47.401.4). Then find a RUU with the same number and run it on your PC with phone connected via USB.
After that your phone has to be running normally.
Use Revolutionary to gain S-OFF or update the software to newer version to use HTCunlock after this if you still need it.
A few days ago when i turned on my htc one mini it started in bootloader, i'm not sure how, and i'm not familiar with things like ROMs and flashing so please explain how to fix it in simple terms.
At the top of the screen it says :
*** LOCKED ***
M4_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-2. 21 . 0000
OS-3. 10. 161.6
eMMC-boot 1024MB
Mar 7 2014 17:40:05.0
Then it says FASTBOOT AC and i get the options 'bootloader' 'reboot' 'reboot bootloader' and 'power down' , when i go to bootloader it just displays more options such as factory reset and fastboot but they all just send me back to the starting screen, and when i press 'reboot' , it just reboots it in bootloader.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks
got any solution ?
Have you got any solution for that? Have you solved your problem ?
I still got the same problem.

Hi,
I have the exact same problem... unable to unlock the phone...
when in bootloader : "adb devices" show my device
when in fastboot : "fastboot devices" show nothing and "fastboot oem get_identifier_token" get stuck in "<waiting for device>"
Also, when in bootloader, if i choose "recovery", i can't enter the recovery menu, instead i have a warning sign for about 1 minut, then unit reboot.
Hope someone found a solution...
Thanks,

Whn you see the red warning sing, I believe, you have to press VOLUME UP to see the recovery menu. As for undetectable devices in fastboot, I assume you are using Windows 8.1 or higher. Fastboot doesn't work there, unless fixed by using the instructions and registry edit from this thread (I can confirm, it works like a charm).
Let me know if you need any more help and if it worked.
