Just asking for more screen space while in bed and reading
Root and install xposed mod Xperia xposed by serajr.
With that you can simply choose to hide status and nav bar from your power menu.
There are other ways but this is what I do.
Here's an example:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}

for non-rooted devices:
http://www.xda-developers.com/gmd-full-screen-immersive-mode-unrooted-devices/
or just look for "immersive mode" in the google play store.
there should be several options as it's actually a built in function after all.
Thanks a lot guys I'm rooted so I'll check Xposed stuff when it becomes available for Android L. Immersive mode has this no keyboard bug so far

For those of you looking for an easy way to get to recovery. Quick Boot (Reboot) is the easiest by far. Free app as well, been using it for a long time until recovery option gets baked into ROMS. Root is needed. Options to boot into recovery, bootloader, etc.

I used xposed framework to add an advanced reboot menu. Same thing to get the center clock.

ORLY? Do tell! Feel like making a guide thread in the Q&A forum?
Just download this and use the built in module downloader to download the modules you need. Xblast tools and advanced power menu modules.

You can only add that to a custom rom, or to a stock rom with Xposed module installed.
In either case you would need to be bootloader unlocked and rooted.
The apps themselves are supposed to have a 3-dot "overflow" menu.
Not all apps have been optimized for kitkats immersive mode

How to remove carrier bame from lock screen, and from notification drawer?
I need a mod only for this.
I know there is one, but that is with close recent all, and it adds the carrier.
I already have close all recent apps from Gravity, and it's more beautiful, the button I mean.
So I need only to remove carrier.

Don't we have that option in Gravity?
Check that in lockscreen settings of that Xposed module, it should be there...
Of it's not there, install GEM Xperia Xposed module and search for this tab

I'm sure you can find Xposed module which will allow you to remove carrier name from notifications drawer as well.
If not...decompiling systemUI will do the job

in this theard i will learn you to make Status and Navigation Bar like Lollipop..
we will use Xposed Modules:
1)-Xinstaller
2)-Flat Styled Coloered Bars
first install "Xinstaller Module"...activate it and reboot your devices .
then open it and go to "Installations" then check option "checking SDK version"
after do the first step go to xposed again and install "Flat Styled Coloered Bars" with version 1.0.5 then activate it and reboot
NOTE Install version 1.0.5 not Lastest version
after Reboot go to any App using Material Design and show status bar and navigation...
For more Option in this module go to theard: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/flat-style-colored-bars-t2925521

Hello brothers and sisters
anyone knows how to hide or disable 5g/4G indicator on Note 20 ultra? It reallt annoys me when the indicator is showing up even if i dont use mobile data'
I am using Snapdragon Note 20 ultra
The easiest way would be to use Good Lock. Download from the Galaxy Store and use Quickstar to edit the indicators on the top bar.

I downloaded already bro but no settings to hide
only the indicator it has option to hide All the signal icon
It takes so little space, what is the reason for wanting it gone?
