I have a Samsung Galaxy S III mini, and I have tried searching for rooting threads based on my device, but I think they may be outdated.
I'm not all sure what information you need, but this is what I have:
Specs:
Model number: Samsung-SM-G730A
Android Version: 4.4.2
Baseband version: G730AUCUBNG3
Kernal version: 3.4.0-1670137
[email protected]#1
Build number: KOT49H.G730AUCUBNG3
This is my first time rooting, so I don't know what all the ins and outs are. Thank you!

[Completed] [Q] Samsung Galaxy S5 Verizon Root? (Lollipop 5.0)

New to XDA, not new to forums. I've been looking for a Root for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 on Lollipop 5.0 for the last few hours, but I've had no luck. Could someone point me in the right direction? (if such a direction currently exists).
Hardware Version: G900V.05
Kernel: 3.4.0
Android Version: Lollipop 5.0

I saw it. Unfortunately, that's for KitKat. I'm on Lollipop 5.0, and as I said, I have yet to find a working root for Samsung Galaxy S5 Verizon on Lollipop 5.0.

All of the information relating to your device can be found within the device forum I linked you to in my previous post. It might be that a root method doesn't exist for the Lollipop firmware yet. Please note that XDA Assist isn't a general helpdesk area, our purpose is to point people who don't know where to post in the right direction. I'm sure if there is no root method right now there will be one soon, the Galaxy range always receives a lot of attention from developers.
