Reuse xperia neo V as media center - General Topics

Hi guys, I have a xperia neo V that starts perfectly but has the dead digitizer. I had thought I leave it connected to TV 24h as media center and use the charging port for OTG.Para this thought to disable the screen and without the battery. My idea was some welding transformer feeding directly to the pins of the battery.
Someone comes up as it could do?

xperia z1 compact car dock

anyone know if this:
http://www.clove.co.uk/sony-smartphone-car-holder-spa-ck20m
will work with the z1 compact? I can only find this model on this website, and not the sony website. are there any good car docks for the z1 compact? I want to leave my razr m, but i use my phone in the car alot and need a good car solution.
thanks
so with a little bit more research I've found the SPA-CK20M a couple other places. Here's my question about the z1 compact. Is there a car mode built into the sony android? And does any car dock out there automaically enable the car mode? I really like how my raazr m (and my old moto defy) automatically went into the car mode when connected to the dock.
Also, it would be great if there was a dock that was compatible with the magnetic power cord like the dk32 desktop dock.

[Q] xperia m2 wireless charging ?

Hi, I recently got the Xperia M2 having swapped back to android after a year playing with windows phone with a Nokia.
anyway the feature i found really usfull with the nokia was the wireless charging so i sent off for a micro usb qi receiver to try get the M2 working with my existing qi charger. i know the charging pad works and i know the receiver works. when its plugged into an old htc phone it charges fine and even works on a mp3 player so both pad and charger are ok but it refuses to work when plugged into the m2, anyone have any ideas?

M2 dead, nothing works. Don't know if I have to replace PCB or battery.

Hi guys,
i got a problem with a M2 Aqua. Last week my battery was like 5% left and I wanted to charge it. While connected to the charger, the phone hadn't charged at all. Also the red led that indicates charging wasn't showing. As the M2 got to 0% and shutdown itself, I tried everything. To keep this short, this is what I've tried:
Charging for 24h+
Tried entering flashmode
Pushing Vol+ and power button for hard shutdown
Tried SUS, Flashtool, PC Companion and other software
Tried pushing the reset button hidden next to the sd card slot
The phone wasn't recognizing at all. :crying: The led on the top right of the phone hadn't even lighted up once during my tries to recover the phone.
Since the phone wasn't recognizing at all, I think either the battery or the charging / microusb socket is broken. There is also the possibility of a mainboard failure. How can I test the battery for functionality? Is this even possible? Would the phone boot up when connected to the charger even if the battery has a failure?
If the socket is the problem, I'm going to replace the whole PCB at once, because im not very good at soldering.
Maybe some of you can give me some insight.
Thank you.
I dot know about this device but others function without a battery being present. I've opened up a generic tablet before and swapped over a soldered battery, I had it powered up sans battery.
Obviously you've tried different chargers? USB cables or connecting it to a pc and see if it recognises the phone or any messages crop up.
Failing that try taking it to a service centre or repair shop. They might open it up or diagnose a fault for free. I've not looked inside the Sony m2 but some phones have ribbon connectors inside that simply fall out of their sockets, it might not be the end of the world.

sony xperia z3 D6603 WIFI/BT antenna damaged!

I recently bought a used Sony xperia z3 D6603 on eBay. Everything worked fine expect that I couldn't find any access point on WiFi and any devices on Bluetooth. Finding this fishy I removed the back panel and took a look at the motherboard and found that the WiFi antenna pins above the micro USB port were totally missing and it was replaced by some solder lead. So I googled for the pictures of the motherboard to try and figure out the circuit but it was difficult to understand the circuit on the motherboard. if anyone could send me the circuit diagram or suggest an alternative way to fix it ,it will really help me fix this. Thanks in advance

Xperia XA Charging Port

I'm disassembling my Xperia XA then i accidentally removed something near the charging port. Is it okay or i should go to technician to resolder it? By the way i lost the removed part and i can't find it.
The removed part has the same appearance beside it.
