I have a I9500 Running 4.3 Vietnam Region Change list is 1875800 (all smooth) locked bootloader no custom stuff at all - ALL STOCK
so can i download the Indian 4.3 with change list 1938685 and flash that over the current 4.3 Vietnam version ? everything is stock/official nothing custom at all.

Can anyone answer my question please? i plan to install via odin the full 1.3GB again (im not in india) thats why
should have no problems yea?

just downloaded the 16.55 MB update..
unable to apply right now as am on a client support call.
i guess we cannot use odin to flash this new firmwares because of the knox thing.. ( this is what I understand from reading this forum )

I understand KNOX was to stop custom install? why would knox stop an offical install? that doesn't make sense at all mine isn't rooted or modded all stock roms... weird sammy if that is the case.
because if that where true then it would defeat the purpose of samsung-updates.com lol

I'm not getting OTA! And I don't find it worth downloading 1.4 GB just for a 16.55 mb update...

The change log says stability improvements. Also the kernel has been updated to the latest version dated oct 21. The previous update had horrible battery life with android system and OS taking huge toll on battery. I hope this kernel update has fixed it.

i have just updated the firmware..
it took about 5minutes and 3% battery to finish the process.
i had knox enabled earlier, but now knox has updated again.
earlier it was in v 1.0.0
now it is also 1.0.0

is there any way i can install only the wallpapers on my S4 black edition because the icon for original wallpapers on my phone some how disappeared

Thanks for the heads up. Any noticeable change?

Installed it today, did a very quick browse but didn't notice any major changes. Hope it improves battery life a little. Interested in the release notes though.

This came through to my gear 2 as an ota update.
Oddly gear manager got stuck in a boot loop, so I uninstalled it, re installed it and my gear 2 restored itself. Then, quite surprisingly, it said downloading gear update to the version listed above
I've not noticed any differences... But for me, the battery does seem to be lasting that little bit longer...
I'm in the uk

OK, I've found that the IR blaster has had a tweak
There is now a small control pad when you press the centre button, which wasn't there before I did the update

Disappointing that there wasnt much else done. ...
Seems this watch is still doing great in the markets, myself and other friends picked this watch this holiday season for many reasons over the others but sadly there doesn't seem to be much/any ongoing new development and updates to previous apps and roms etc, considering it's still growing in popularity.

Anyone know an easy way to extract a flashable modem from stock firmware for this device to be used in odin or recovery?
Im using a G935w8 from canada and flashed echoerom which is not intended for my model but works awsome
Noticed my reception isn't as great so wanted to extract the modem from my old firmware and flash itnlikeninuaednto do with previous samsung models
I have the stock firmware files and looked into a bunch of threads but nothing for this device it seems
Im able to extract recovery.img boot.img and a bunch of others but cant seem to find the modem
Any help or pointing me to a simple tutu loreal would be appreciated

The modem is the CP file, just flash it (CP file in odin) with the reboot option unthicked and reboot manually after with the combo vol down + power for 7 seconds.

You should use home csc ( matching the one you have now) to avoid factory reset , but you can use either one

Hi
If you have a multi csc rom (most likely ) it will reset the phone and will install the default CSC for that rom whatever it is , to really pick what csc you want you need to be root

Well, I just tried that way and it worked. Now I have G930FXXU2DRA9 baseband
Last time I flashed all slots and a misoperation started the Samsung ROM. TWRP had to be installed again. And partitions had to be corrected. All data on sdcard were deleted. So the procedure above is much better :good:

Does this mean it's available via Smart Switch now and will be available via OTA later, like in a few hours? My CSC is PAK but my CSC is multiple CSC which also lists XSG which means update will land on my phone soon.

haven't tried OTA... only Smart Switch, also available here: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-G935F

can this update be installed in the g935fd ? and can this firmware be installed with odin ? and if i do . i still get the feature updates in a Malaysian device ?
