I have a LG Nexus 5 with Lollipop 5.1, unlocked and unrooted. Is there an easy way to install CyanogenMod to it? I'm new to tinkering with my phone so don't have much knowledge or experience with this.

Go to CyanogenMod download center to download a nightly:
• hammerhead: http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=hammerhead
OR
• hammerheadcaf: http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=hammerheadcaf
Check daily until we see a build named cm-12.1xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi guys!
Small question, or rather clarification needed.
With Android L Preview installed on device will I get all upcomming release updates or stable, final version will require me to perform clean install?
I am just curious if Android L was really released for N5 or Preview version is really something totally different...

Note: When the final Android 5.0 system image becomes available, it will be posted on the Factory Images for Nexus Devices page. To continue development (and receive future system updates), you should update your device with that image as soon as possible.

We Beg to the CyanogenMod to make a Lollipop ROM for our Motorola Atrix 4g. . . I know its an older device but with those specs I think it can handle one more Android Update xD. . . but if a developer wants to make a Lollipop ROM for this device then go ahead. . . doesn´t matter what ROM is, what it matters is the Android
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately this isn't what XDA Assist is for, our purpose is to point people who don't know where to post in the right direction. Enter "cm device requests" into Google and the first result should be a link to a page where you can request CM to build for your device.
Good luck!

i just got this phone and it is awesome except when the prior owner updated the firmware it no longer is rooted. there is a built in app called super su but it is missing a binary file it says needs to be installed to root the phone? also as a backup i am trying to find a mirrored link or a working link for the most current android firmware for my model. can anyone please help me by providing simple, basic easy to understand way how to root my phone, what free app will be needed to root it and last a link for the firmware. it just says on the container the phone was in blu studio 5.0 c there is no hd written next to the model description. thank you for taking time to read this.
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. A quick search uncovered a great thread detailing how to root this phone:
[How-To] BLU Studio 5.0 C (D536U) – Rooting, Recovery Install, Flash Latest Stock Rom
That thread also contains a link to the latest stock firmware for your device. For future reference you can find the specific device forum for this phone here:

i tried the link for the factory rom and it was a dead link said file was no longer there for download. to be honest since there is alot involved in flashing the phone with the most current firmware available i am going to just pass and just keep what the phone currently has firmware wise. i do not want to by mistake brick the phone. all i really want to do is have on hand a copy of the most current firmware for my phone so in the event i need to re-flash it i can. i have tried seeking the firmware file for the phone but keep hitting dead links. thank you for your time. if u do have a live link so i can download a up to date firmware for the phone i could use that. thank you

I can't seem to find what you're looking for, it's probably best to ask in the q&a section for your device here:

Hello,
I have a rooted Nexus 6 running Android 5.1.1 with CyanogenMod 12.1 on a nightlies build. I really want to get multi-window like in the Note 4, but so far I've seen that I need Xposed framework to do so. Is there another way to do this, or is there a way to install Xposed with CyanogenMod?
Best,
HB

I own a Lenovo A3500 -HV. I have been using it for an year now and it is running KitKat(4.4.2). There is no sign of a newer OS coming to this tab so I have decided to install a new ROM. I decided to go with CynanogenMod but the problem is my device is not listed in the supported devices directory.
I think my device has the minimum requirements to run the OS.
I would like to know if it will be better to install the CyanogenMod or just leave it with kitkat or maybe install some other mods that my tab can support?
