Any gapps needed for this rom? Or all included?

Gapps are not included - I'm just downloading the latest PA gapps and will give that a go.
Installed fine and seems really good so far. Certainly quick and smooth.
@OP, whats does OmniSwitch do??

omnirom doesnt come with root by default, maybe because of security issues. so just download the latest superSU.zip and flash in recovery for root access

Ty yes that worked and gapps from lp 2014 seem to work too. I notice need to download all new apks for 5.1. But this rom is super smooth no fc`s and ive tried them all on here. I noticed downloading apps much faster and performance better than 5.0 and of course KK.

Dont try xposed on 5.1 wont work and maybe FC on gapps if you do. This is 5.1 cause sdk in flashing xposed says 22 and looking for 21

Hey! You been putting in some work, faZevoLv. I would love to flash this, but I don't know how to restore apps and data for multi user. I share this with my wife and it got to be running okay (all her apps) at least.

Don't use the pa gapps; the packages are rejected as being only for 5.0 if you attempt to flash their zips in TWRP. I used the most recent package linked to by Hashcode's Lollipop thread: d-h.st/RLt9 -- I gather that many of the individual apps are being rejected as not compatible (because only a relative few are shown as being "optimized"), but together with the SuperSU update 2.46 at download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip , I have what seems to be a stable, crisp, rooted Lollipop Kindle. No extended desktop support, I see. As noted in other ROMs on other devices, changing the CPU governor doesn't work; it wants to be interactive. Antutu score after overclocking to 1.632GHz and loaded down with many apps: 18,488.

I have put a link to the lollipop gapps I use along with superSU which can both be flashed in recovery and work fine for me. I can't understand why it wants to stay as interactive governor, I've only just noticed this and will find out.
As long as omnirom keep updating their sources, I will keep updating this ROM, and as you can tell my kernel is included by default in this ROM and that too will be updated when I get a chance.
Also I see sabermod have done some work on parts of omnirom, just like I made my liquid smooth ROM fast, I will use sabermod tweaks to make this ROM fast and less buggy as possible

Can you add a link in the op to the dl page? I'm not trying to be a pita, but tapatalk won't access the dl menu. Not a big deal to open a browser, but a link would be a nice shortcut.
Love your work, man. Thanks for keeping us on the cutting edge.

I just asked pac doesn't even have rom control anymore, so what's up with that?
Looks pretty good, as already mentioned there are FCs in some settings. Besides what's already been reported, Performance Ctrl also FCs..The rom should be good though, when these fixes are made.
Thanks,

Yeah, that's why I said if I remember correctly but wasn't sure. I read so much different stuff, sometimes it all just seems to meld into one big ball of Android. Doing a quick search just now doesn't seem to indicate that AOKP no longer will have Rom Control.
I hope it still does, one of the coolest features in a rom.

You tell me,...hopefully baseband/data and calls are working for Gsm.

Loaded up on the TMO variant and running well so far. Data works. Haven't checked calls yet.
Edit: When selecting "reboot to recovery" the phone just reboots and doesn't go into recovery. Same when you select reboot to bootloader too. Just straight reboots the phone.
Edit 2: No root access. Tried 4 different root apps and they all said the phone was not rooted. After flashing the SU zip, still the same result.
Just downloaded. After testin i will report

That's odd, working fine for me.
You tried enabling and then disabling the toggle again after you tapped build number?
You saw popup after tapping 7 times and got a popup toast that they were enabled?
I don't know what more to suggest, as it works fine for me, after the initial setup.
But this won't be necessary in the next build. May be a bit though before I get to it.
As I'm moving this week, but it should be able to work now.
Sorry you are having troubles with it.
When i try to disable toggle i got fc but after fc toggle isnt disabled. That is weird. I will try to flash again

Sounds like maybe an older version of CWM.
You may wanna update your Recovery, or deal with it like you did, that works too but isn't the recommended way.
Updating your Recovery version should eliminate that.

Yeah they may use an older formatting to prevent having to use a newer recovery that is set up for kitkat syntax.
This uses the same install script formatting that the latest versions of CM uses.
I know that it works on the latest version of Twrp for my device (m7vzw) just fine.
It also works on the latest CWM just fine.
Sounds like you are probably using TWRP 6.4.3.0 or something like that.
I don't know the latest version for your variant or what version you have.(you didn't say)
But it was around 3.3 - 3.4 that it switched to the new formatting.
That's the best I can tell you.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community.
It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed.
CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

STATUS: ALPHA
This is a preview build, do not install it if you want a stable ROM.
This is a preview of what is going down on CM12.0
Rom is in alpha state so many bugs are to be expected!
All the source code is available on my Github.
I do this on my free time and unfortunately I don't have much.
Any help is a appreciated!

Anxious awaiting this one. Second LP for our tab2. Who would have thought of that. Already a lot of thanks to all that worked on this one!
Grtz,
John
It is amazing to have 2 lolipop roms for this old tab...
Thanks guys for your great job!
@ Andriod-Andi
Do you sleep sometimes?
First results: not bad, not bad at all no fc until now. Some hickups in playstore in my list of apps; when scrolling down says i have to connect where i was connected already. No big issue for me.
Keep going this way and soon this should be in beta
Grtz,
John

Nice! Will it be updateable to next CM12 ROMs with the internal update feature? ie. when will the ROMs appear here:
https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=p5110
Does it support GPU overclocking?

Yes, update feature is available. New ROMs will need to be added to the repository and will appear at that time.
I wiped my device before installing the upgrade and it seems to not have the Play Store?

Installed it again (without wiping), didn't replace SU (which the recovery told me to do) and installed Gapps. Play Store is back

No-frills CPU Control & AnTuTu CPU Master say it's set between 300 (min) and 1.008 GHz (max) by default. Governor is "interactive" and I/O Scheduler set to "cfq". Can change Max. clock speed to 1.2 GHz or 1.35 GHz. Applying worked fine. According to the Frequency stats in No-frills it touched 1.2 GHz after rebooting, so it seems to work too
Eh... GPU overclocking? Thought it said CPU overclocking . Will read first how that GPU overclocking works...haven't done that before on the tab2....

Changed GPU Max Frequency to 384 using Tickster MOD and that too worked fine . Not sure where to test whether it works though

Not sure. Do you mean Google Now cards? Yes, they seem to work. Google Now logo is not presented when long-pressing the Home button (it's empty) but it does work correctly as far as I can see. Will post some screenshots later this evening.

T310
Greetings
Your avatar make me remember CyanFox ROM
Thank you!
Works well with dirty flash and nano gapps.
Except for the WiFi, which uses random mac addresses. My modem does not accept different addresses than my hard coded tablet address. You might want to change that in the next update. I had to restore my RR582 backup to write this message.
Also there is less memory (Ram) free than with RR582.
But generally its a nice rom. Greetings and thank you for this rom.
I downloaded the Official not experimental and it keeps crashing on the set up

Yeah, found that toggle and closed it but it doesn't return to the hard coded Mac address but to the last random Adress. Couldn't connect to the modem. But anyway thanks for the help.

Mine did that also. So I flashed the rom first in recovery, then rebooted to system, did the setup; Then I flashed Gapps in recovery
I flashed RR 5.8.2 then GApps done the set up and then dirty flashed this ROM, it worked but wasn't ideal, anyway this ROM seems pretty good and i love the dark/light theme toggle in the display settings, keep up the good work

My Wlan works perfect. Just reflash the zip.
But this time first flash xenonhd, then boot up and after that flash gapps. Should work this time
---------- Post added at 07:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:21 PM ----------
I installed the ROM 2 days ago and i must say, that you did everything right.
Its so fast and so smooth. 10 times better then stock. I really love how i got around 900mb free Ram, when i use it. On stock i had around 500, even with greenify on.
Battery is a beast. Didnt charge it since Saturday and it still has 50%.
But i guess i found a bug. I installed greenify and first it worked really good but then i get errors. It says it couldnt hibernate apps. Any fixes?
Everything else is delicious Keep up the good work

The other thread is outdated. This build is up to date and will be actively maintained If you come from stock miui, flashing firmware shouldnt be necessary. Just flash the rom. But if you face issues, then try with the firmware too
Doing pretty well on battery - 9Hrs SOT with 29% remaining

Open gapps pico should be fine. Select arm64 as architecture tho. And as of xposed, you can just install it through the new xposed installer app. I would not recommend Xposed tho, as it might cause issues.
Hi,
First thanks for building this.
I am using LOS14.1 just because the previous LOS13 Xposed can be installed but modules doesn't work. And the only reason why I want to use MM is because of Xposed.
Apart from Xposed I didn't know what is wrong with the previous LOS13. But I would like to know what is being fixed in this version. Thanks
