Hello i m from bangladesh. i m using symphony w125, which is exact copy of Xolo q800, actually copied from original gionee gn 708w. i like ur effort on rom making for our device since we dont have much developer working here now. i have some question regarding this rom. is it fully deodexed?? if yes then it could be themed better. i noticed u have implemented nexus contacts and messenging app. but is it possible to use stock dialer and theme it manually to look like Nexus?? Reactive dialer has video calling dialer button missing, in the screenshot. actually i want to put a request to u, that plz make a rom with complete stock vanilla JB UI like nexus. i m guessing u removed theme changer and all the crap apps from the rom, so why not make it straight as nexus?? its almost like nexus stock, except from some icons and things. eg, FM radio,compass and file manager icons not themed.

Thanks for ur feed back...!! Listen bro am not a rom dev, am not a programmer...!! i am a Doctor by profession i dont know to build any roms...this work is how i pimped my phone....tats why its in back up format....not as flashable zip...dont know to make one... i learned how to pimp my phone thanks to xda.....if u like my work press thanks...!! if u want everything to look like nexus u have to ask some rom devs cause i tried theming png icons in settings...but i couldnt change background to black...!! its gionee theme i couldnt change that....!! i tried theming dialler but it didnt work...!! tats why reactive dialler...!! FM radio,compass and file manager everything can be changed if u flash it with nexus apps...i think...!!

wow..awesome:good:..planning on getting a q800..and i'm glad there are custom roms. I just hope the battery life will be okay.

yes u can but u need q700i firmware on q700 before...

if anyone can help me, I got rooted, installed CWM, tried to flash rom to my Gionee GN708 (without W), success.
but its stuck on boot, tried several roms but same, have to restore the backup via CWM (glad I did backup).
is there anything I missed? I have cleared all cache and did everything in CWM, or is these roms not compatible with my device?

Steps
Install it the way i've given step by step without missing any one of them and install it in same order i've given so that the old update may not replace the new update...
1) First download Suvi ROM from link it post #3
2) Wipe system,cache,data,dalvik cache, if coming from ics
3) Download the 2nd update Neptune !0.1 and flash it immediately after flashing the ROM.
3) Now install the 3rd update 11.0 Orion and install it after Neptune
4) Now install 12.0 Pulsar
5) Install the Final Update 13.0 Reah and install it.
6) Now install the Celkona200 mod.
7) Now reboot and Enjoy...
Button LED : it makes the soft key led lights to blink if you've got any missed calls or messages.To activate it go to button led and go to last option for selecting the file where a list of 3 files appear. Select the third file and press ok.
OTA Updater: Updates your devices reularly with the new releases of the rom.

Yes, its working but during touch to focus shot its not working bro....

Yes i agree with imkumar during touch to focus flash is not working please fix it bro, this is only the bug.

i'll provide the original camera.apk tomorrow

yes..the flash on focus not working.. also how to change the status bar to look like 4.2..
mine shows torch, camera and reboot buttons and settings..
no flip like settings like in 4.2

Such a great ROM, but found some bugs other than those said in the past:
Removing homescreens in 'Edit Page' gives a FC
Some apps are not working so it needs to be reinstalled
Missing mobile TV app
Will look for some more, but still a good job mate. :good:

None Until Now....

My Xolo Q800's rear camera and flashlight not working ,only front camera works.
I tried many roms and third party apps,but no luck.:crying:
Now i found this ROM and flashed.My LED flashlight works again with the torch widget given in this ROM.,which doesnt happen with other roms,even in MIUI.

Its a feature of kernel and I know how to add these zip files to a ROM but only some ROMs have this option working in whom the kernel supports this option , I read all these info on xda forum not inventing from myself.

Tweaks including in are not adjusted !! Too many tweaks, kills tweaks

What a pity, OTG is not work. I've just tested....But I like it

i found just one issue : dat blutooth is fc
if you switch on bluetooth it s fc , and its the same after any wipe and restart , i was in obligation to reinstall your rom to resolve that and do want to switch BT anymore until you resolve it
expect of diz issue , your rom is perfect

Currently on Woody Dark ROM.
Bg of both the playstore app icons and fb stickers is messed up.
Please provide a solutio. Pretty frustrated by this now

Replace the Mtkbt.apk file in system>app with any of the ROMs' file that got it working.
Clear cache and dalvik.
I replaced it with MERE ROMs' file attched with this post. Download and put it in system>app replacing the old one.

This ROM has got the best performance of all the ROMs I ever tested. I kept a ROM for a max of 2 days and then flashed a new one or the same one again. But this ROM.... I have been using it for a week now. Best performance.
The only major bug is bluetooth as even after replacing Mtkbt.apk, you can only recieve files. If you don't use it too often, flash this ROM along with Project Mod Boost.
