[Completed] Htc desire 526g root - XDA Assist

It's been 3 months but till now we don't have any specific rooting technic for HTC desire 526g. Please help us

Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. XDA Developers doesn't have any control at all over which devices receive development attention from developers, XDA merely provides a place for developers to share their ideas and work. The hard truth is that the device you're talking about isn't a popular device, it's relatively low-spec and therefore just doesn't have the user base to make it worthwhile for a dev to spend a great deal of time on. I can only suggest you keep a lookout in the Android Development & Hacking section here:
Android Development & Hacking
Keep checking back regularly, use the search feature, and use Google, and hopefully a root method will pop up in future.
Good luck!

[Q] New to XDA & Android OS

hi everyone, im new to XDA & also new to Android OS. I need someone who knows what they are doing to help me understand XDA & how the rooting process works.
any experienced rooters out there looking for a student??
What device do you have/ what specifically do you want to know about rooting and or xda
Far as learning what XDA is all about, this thread is a good place to start.
Welcome to the XDA community! I'm still relatively new to the Android OS as well, and my knowledge expands greatly by the day here. Really, the best way to learn XDA is to explore it all and read a lot before posting!
XDA is the resource to goto, to find out how to do stuff. However, don't shy away from using Google to familiarize yourself with the jargon used in the Android mod community. It is invaluable to know what rooting, bootloader, recovery, fastboot and adb mean, before attempting to modify your phone/tablet to something better software wise.
I haven't been around too long but I've successfully flashed roms on 3 phones if you need anything pm me. And I've done a little bit more but not much. My most advanced knowledge is making the hello world app with java lol. Good luck to ya and welcome.
The device specific forums are the best place to get rooting info for your phone. You'll find guides and wiki therein.
You might want to watch this guide to learn more about XDA itself:

[Q] Android on HTC Titan PI39100

Hello XDA!
Although I have been using XDA forums as my main (if not only) source for everything to do with Android and HTC alike, I have only just registered and am therefore a noob, unfortunatley .
I currently own a HTC Sensation, an amazing phone with alot in the way of versatility, especially considering the wide range of custom ROM's and other development material available from the highly talented developers within your ranks. I, personally, would not know where to start.
As I work for C.E.X ltd, I have access to a wide range of gadgets to play with and assess for my own interests as well as product research for my job. I have recently got my hands on a HTC Titan PI39100 WM7 phone for a two week test drive. This is a really nice phone that has an amazing feel and a nice big screen, however, I'm not overly keen on WM7 as an OS. I have searched and searched for an answer to my question but have been unable to find one on the web in general.
My question is, is there any way to port/flash an Android system onto the HTC Titan PI39100?
If this is a stupid question please let me know, but personally i beleive that the Titan would make a brilliant Android phone.

[Completed] unified Phone list XDA style

Hello XDA
I have been using help of XDA for a long time. It is a good source of help and information.
Lately I bought an HTC M8 for my daughter and I found that it requires bootloader unlocking plus some stuff that I find hard compared my Samsung phone.
May I suggest if XDA can create a sheet for all phones especially the new ones where they mention whether bootloader is locked and the difficulty of rooting and installing recovery and new Roms.
Had I known this about the M8, I would have simply bought a Samsung.
Thanks
Hi,
I suggest a lot of research before buying next time... And you'd have known this up front. Especially with new devices now, as many carriers are locking down their phones more and more.... And with it getting more difficult to Root with newer Android releases. Many new Samsung models can't even currently be rooted. Not so for the M8.
As far as a unified list goes.... That would be a major undertaking... No one would do this unless they wanted to. Perhaps you could take on this project and contribute to your fellow members with such a list?
Do some research and you'll find you can do far more with an M8, modification wise, than most newer Samsung devices. ?
Here's the M8 section. The General and Q&A sections have many guides and tutorials, Usually at the top of the section, stickied. ?

Most info can be found in this frequently asked questions thread,

And after doing some reading, Help can be found here,

Good luck!

[Completed] LG L50

i have been looking a lot of information about this device and then only thing i could do is rooting it .... so what i and a lot of L series users want is to you pay more attention to this series because all we want custom roms and official support ... you have help me a lot with other devices but with my new one a cant :/ so please we will be so grateful if you start working in this LG series .... thanks a lot.
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. It isn't up to XDA Developers to decide which devices get the most development, XDA simply provides a place for people to get together and share their work and ideas. It's up to the developers to make the decision of which device(s) they want to develop for. Unfortunately low-spec devices such as the L50 rarely receive any development, because they're low-spec they're also low popularity, and developers generally develop for popular devices to make it worth their while. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Even though you may not receive any custom ROMs for your phone, if you can root it you can still customise it through the use of the Xposed Fraemwork and modules. I'd suggest you take a look:
Xposed - General info, versions & changelog
Xposed Framework Modules
Good luck with your phone.
