Does a 128gb microSD slows down the phone?

Nope. Utilizing it with a fair bit of music and a few videos and it works fine. I got a standard 128 gig Sandisk card that i shuffle between phones

What is preferable to a Samsung Galaxy SII mobile - MicroSD card or Micro SDHC card?
No difference.

It just stands for High Capacity, which means is over 2gb. Otherwise there is no difference. When they were under 2gb some equipment wouldn't work with cards that held more room so they started designating sizes over that as SDHC so you could tell if your equipment could be compatible with the higher capacity format. Most everything now adays is compatible, though. So you can choose anyone both are same.
If you can pick up one with a high class speed

Doesn't Matter
Micro sdhc are new cards over 2gb... if you want more informations:

SDHC Vx SD
I think the SDHC it's just needed on Reflex Cameras where we need more speed to storage the photos. In our case I think the regular sdcards can handle a good performance and change for one sdhc could not bring anything new...
Sebastian,
Any card >2GB in size is a microSDHC, and >32GB is microSDXC. Most likely you'll be getting an 8GB card at least, so it'll be MicroSDHC anyway. Sometimes it happens that old microSD card adapters/phones won't function with new SDHC cards. That's explained here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital#SDHC
But that's nothing to be bothered about with any phone made in the past 3 years or so. Try to get a class 6 card if possible. I have a Samsung 16GB class 6 card in my HTC Desire HD and it's performance is great. Class 10 may be overkill for normal usage and class 2 is crappy (read: the cards they supply along with the phone in the box). Class 4 or class 6 is good for normal usage, especially if you want to transfer large files to and fro.
the same funtion
it doesnt matter, u should look for its class either,
Sandisk 32gb class 6 in my razr. No need for a class 10 card.

No difference.
in my device i used a 8 gb sdhc class 10, is more reactive than class 6
Android prefers low class card btw. High class may be a little slower actually.
A class 10 is better...

wow, I don't even know that it has the same function
I thought that SDHC is better than a normal SD card, so I bought a 16GB micro SDHC for my tablet
message
I agree. they are typicallyu the same
Is anybody running apps2SD?
I am considering a 20 dollar 32gb class 4 and was wondering if the performance will be fast enough to run my apps off of it.
I would say get UHS-1
Your card will give you best performance when you upgrade your phone..
search sandisk UHS-1 (can't post link yet)
Anybody knows if it is possible to put a 256 gb microsd, if not is it possible a sdxc uhs-1 128gb??
Thanks
Why would you want 128 or 256 GB of data storage on your phone... Thats too much
32 + 64 is 96 GB that more than enough for a crazy geek

Yes it´s true, only i want to know. I have only 16gb but i want to buy a micro sdxc uhs-1 of 128gb of capacity, will i have problems?
Actually, I like to carry all my photos and some music. I have 120Gb of photos and short video clips. So currently I am limited to having resized photos only and no video clips. Large capacity card would be superb.

HAM 7 supports 128gb sd cards. I have no idea if it supports 256gb tho
I'm looking for a rock solid reliable card for this device. I was thinking a 32gb samsung evo or sandisk ultra (I'd prefer 64gb size if these work). I read some people have been able to use 64gb+ SD cards with success. However, on the previous model people were having problems with various cards including the samsung evo and sandisk ultra. Some people suggesting class 6 works better than class 10. I don't know. I'm just confused now and want a fast reliable SD card for my phone with 32/64gb storage.
I've read about a lot of problems with previous moto g's and microsd issues. I currently have 2 lexar class 10 32gb SD cards and both work for a few weeks and then tell me the SD card is damaged. I notice when I check the card on my mac some of the files on the SD card appear corrupted and are 0kb in size. I had this problem with these cards with my old ZTE skate so assumed it was the SD card at fault but I'm not sure.
Are the microSD card issues of previous devices fixed now or is it still very much an issue?
Could we perhaps make a list of tried and tested cards what work perfectly in Moto G 4G LTE 2nd Gen XT1072?
Thanks!
i use team group micro sd card and it's good because there is no fake right now !!!
if you access to buy original try sandisk or patriot
I do not have any problems with the sd on my moto g 4g, I have 32 GB micro SD and everything works.

any card with u3 or a1 speed or say 90 mb/s
I just picked this one up. Read about it and it seems to perform as good as any. I also read that smaller sizes perform better, so I went middle of the road size wise (compared to others).
SanDisk
The Samsung ones are actually quite good. Been using the same card for a while now for recording 4k videos without issues.
Just got a Kingston Micro SDXC 256GB (R100W80), but same as previous Xperia models, the card reader seems still limiting the speed quite a lot.
Ran A1 SD Bench once and the result was:
Read: 32.92MB/s
Write: 28.51MB/s
Silicon Power 1TB Superior UHS-1(U3) V30 A1 MicroSD
Has anyone is using this 1TB memory?
yeah, I am curious too, anyone try this? Does Mi Max 3 support 1TB SD Card?
Cool, but last I looked still pricey.
A .5 tb V30 Lexar is relatively cheap.
But I want a 1 tb card for my N10+.
I could use more storage than that... dual 1 tb SD card capacity is what I want to see.
