Hi,
I've Archos 45B Helium rooted, with 4.4.4 android version. I've got some problem with Play Store so I backed up it with Titanium and I delete it. I was not able to restore. So I downloaded "com.android.vending- 5.2.13 " and I instaled it as Phonesky.apk in the /system/app directory and change is permission to 644. Now Play Store is installed but it doesn't want to download any software.

They 're telling to take these 4 files : "GmsCore.apk", "GoogleLoginService.apk", "GoogleServicesFramework.apk" and "Phonesky.apk", from Google_apps pakages which are in the Cyanogen sites.
Could I take Google_Apps wich are in the http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps and which version I've to take?
What is the best method, as Archos doesn't give any firmware for this model of device.

I've got:
Verifying update package
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted
I tried to install "Google Play Store" with APK package but it's crashing all the times and I'm not able to install or update any software.

I have installed an apk file previously and now intend to install another updated apk file to my android phone. However the installation of the new apk file failed with message "an existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed".
I had tried to uninstall the first apk and then install the new apk file but the installation failed with the same message appeared. My phone is not rooted. Is there any way to rectify the error ?

I found another user who could fix a similar issue with YouTube.apk: [Q] Installing the new YouTube V5 apk Issues (task's AOKP).
Maybe it works for you too.
Alternatively you can check if the un-installed (first) app is really completely uninstalled. Maybe it's a system app which still has some left-overs in another folder and is just "de-activated" or "disabled".
However, completely uninstalling of system apps requires root access.

The phone comes with all the GAPPS except that Google play services and i need it to sync my Clash of Clan account.
My phone is rooted
I have tried:
Installing it from Play store: incompatible with other applications using the same shared user id.
Installing it manually from downloading by playstore: App not installed.
Installing old signed version: App not installed.
It also have android recovery i tried to install the whole GAPPS package but the it shows the signature verification error.
I dont have a custom recovery no idea how to install it.
Its a pretty old phone.
I wont ask for help if i was able to install the GPS please help

When i try tot install an APK of any game it starts installing but at the end it says: 'app is not installed' and then it just goes out of the installer . how Can i fix this problem?

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Not all apps are compatible with 5.x yet. Check the apps your trying to install to make sure they are.

Hi everyone.
So I got this problem where my phone used to be rooted. I edited my build.prop and made the android version from 4.2.2 to 4.4.4 and named my device nexus 5 but its originally myphone agua hail. Now suddenly after doing that superSU said there is no binary and no more root access stuff like that. So I tried a few things, tried pasting my build.prop back-up using build.prop editor but it no longer works, because superSU doesn't recognize the root access on my device, but it is properly rooted before I did that.. Unfortunately, I have no CWMRecovery installed, so I tried everything, to the point where I factory reset my phone. Now, the main problem is my phone doesn't run apps like clash of clans, and a window keeps showing up saying "Unfortunately, google play services has stopped" other stuff like that. I already tried the clear cache+clear data thing, but it doesn't work. I'm not really sure if it's because of my xposed modules/framework from before or it's because of lucky patcher. How can I fix this ? Please need help. Thank you !

i try to root the phone with kingroot and then replace kinguser with supersu using supersu me. After that the phone unstable, i cant open some apps including settings, play store.... So i do factory reset, and now it boot but i cant use it. Only status bar is visible.
