go to this thread if you run the tipo on .16 firmware or this thread if your tipo run on .22 firmware

U r wrong...that rom is for xperia e single sim(c1605)..our dual sim is c1604...
U flashed the wrong ROM...that's why your sim didnot work...

on a locked bootloader you can use sony update service engine or sony pc companion or through update centre app on your phone.
on a unlocked bootloader you can use flashtool

Currently, the available ROMs are jjm34's cm10, z fusion(cm10 required), Xperia nexus..
Now to flash any of these an unlocked bootloader is a must..not just root...
