I recently updated to B137, after trying ErykineMT7_v1.0_-MT7-L09-L10_B137SP03-KK-4.4.2... I followed the usual procedure... flashed stock recovery > reset factory settings > local update to B127 > local update to B137...
There's just one thing missing: in settings > smart assistance> motion control is blank (see the screenshot...)... it's a useful app... I want it back!! I tried to reinstall it form \system\app but it failed...
Any ideas or suggestions? I have the feeling that factory reset is not complete, there is something left... I'd like to flash again not via local update but from boot .... How can I do that...
Thanks.

Happened to me too, when I update from B120 to B127. Reinstalled stock recovery plus wipe date/factory reset plus WIPE CACHE solved the matter.
Try reinstalling the stock recovery first.

Hi,
I have a GSM(Non-US) Xoom 3G, rooted. I downloaded an update OTA and it failed to install. I wiped the cache and downloaded it again. I renamed it to update.zip and tried to install it manually. And now, I keep getting rebooted into recovery. I tried to wipe the cache again but to no avail. I tried to restore from a backup but it doesn't help either. I'd hate to do a factory reset.
Is there anything else I can do before I succumb to a factory reset?
Quick replies are highly appreciated. Thanks!
Edit: I did a factory reset and it didn't work! Please help me! I can't boot up normally anymore. What should I do??? T_T

Are you saying all your apps you've past downloaded are there or all add in Google stock apps? If it's your apps, when under phone setup when flashing new ROM, if you don't want to restore the apps of the past to start fresh, uncheck restore or stop downloads on Play Store start up. To flash new ROM and have fresh start, you also have to WIPE data/factory plus cache and dalvik. Clarify is this is not what you needed.
when i go to the bootrecovery and wipe settings, it says error processing rom manager script. please verify that you are perfoming the back up E: unkown volume for path etc..

I don't think you flashed stock rom like you think you did. To wipe the phone of apps you need to do a factory reset. But when you boot back into the phone make sure you don't check the option to restore your Google apps or it will just redownload again.
Just do a factory reset.

Clear the cache in cwm and see if that helps
Edit, if it doesn't you're going to flash the cache.img in fastboot. That should fix your problem

Sounds like a bad recovery flash to me. Try reflashing the recovery and see if problem persists. The recovery is not working and isn't wiping so that's why apps are still there. Reflash recovery, backup, flash new ROM.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2507905 i followed this procedure again, but i still get same error.
is there a way to flash it by cwm app? or different method?

What are you trying to do?
If you're trying to return tio stock follow this

Cwm app? Rom manager? Stop using apps to flash things. Use recovery manually.

I can suggest you to reflash the stock rom. If it does not help then you have to rma your device
Only way to fix this is to download the factory image from Google's website and flash it.

I recently had a look at this issue and the solution depends on the situations:
1. Factory reset
2. Update / Reflash your firmware | Flash another rom & kernel
3. Restore a nandroid if possible
4. Try these apps: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.wahtod.wififixer & https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brilliapps.wifiandmorefixer
5. Factory reset + flash a custom recovery + wipe /data/misc/wifi/ folder
6. Remove your extsdcard + factory reset
7. Disable any power saving mode
... Good luck!
Hi, I have a very strange problem. My friend's gave his Huawei G610 to me and asked me to reset it to factory and wipe all the data. I simply went to recovery mode and selected Wipe data/factory reset and then wipe cache partition and finally rebooted it!
Instead of showing the first use screen (OOBE) I noticed that nothing had changed. Everything is as same as before factory reset. I tried reset factory from the setting menu and no change. I also uninstall a few apps and after a restart the apps got back :| I flashed stock rom using sp flash tool and no success. Please help me!
Hi, after updating to android 10 recent tasks and search in settings is broken on my phone. I uninstalled stock launcher and replace it with Nova launcher, I think that causes the problem. Is there any way for me to fix it?

Could you point me to a guide that help me with reflash ozip/manual install stock launcher/ factory reset? The wipe data option in this phone doesn't seem to factory resetting it. Thank you for the response.

If your not uninstall or just disble it, first try Enable. using adb with command. Deteail about bloatware you can follow this Link
Code:
adb shell pm enable com.oppo.launcher
If your device rooted, just unfreeze using app like titanium backup, etc.
If not working try Factory Reset...i think its working.
Setting -> Additional Setting -> Back Up and Reset -> Erase all Data (Factory Reset) -> Erase All Data input Lockscreen Pin / Pattern and select Erase Data an wait process to completed. Optional you can using Stock Recovery to WIPE data.
If Rooted Device you can Enter TWRP, and select Format Data after that better flash Ozip firmware again
