Hey everyone,
I have an Eten M700 Glofiish which I've purchased with an extended warrenty.
My warranty is about to end here and I want to get my phone replaced before it does, so I can have a new phone
In order to get it replaced I need to break something on my phone that proves to be unrepairable. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on what I can do?
I has hoping to, in someway burn my processer. It's a samsung, not sure how to go about this. Remembe I can break multiple things
All I know about the "repair" is that it will be done from www.pocketpctechs.com
Thanks in advanced

Heh. Check on their website (willitblend.com?) and find "will it return".
Anyway I suggest magnets, high voltage charge (homemade straight-to-phone wall charger), static chocks, water (might leave evidence...) or anything that damages the insides without leaving traces of abuse.
If you wanna have fun, there's the microwave
hahahaha thats for the will it blend thing. But I was hoping to like seriously overclock the processor til the extent it burns out, dies, ect.
Any overclocking apps working on Eten's?
uhhh what the f***

It is unethical, You could have also saved the extra $ and bought a new phone when this one really breaks...
Anyhow, will close the thread, not only because I think it's unethical but also because I think that the last couple of messages are the forebode of a flamefest.
Best regards,

S3 att
if i gotta get insruance so be it just let me know
First off, this isn't the S3 forum. Second, yeah, you're almost certainly cooked if your bootloader's borked. Warranty the phone out and pay attention when you push buttons that can blow up your $500 paperweight.
Sent from my SGH-I727 running PACman
S3 is not 500$ paperweight , we're taking something north of 600$

So in response to my previous thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53117918
Which obviously wasn't read. I ALREADY TRIED THAT, cheers mate! Trying to restore it back to stock does no good, the tab still boots back to the password screen. So if trying that process is my only option I guess this thing is nothing but a paper weight. I really wish I could get some help with this, I've found several threads on this same issue over the years, no one has a resolution.
Please don't toss a generic 1 response to rule them all reply then close my thread. I've tried the basics to address this issue I still always boot back to the attached screenshot. Someone please help me.

If Odin didn't help you then there is nothing much that we can do to help you either..
Better take your device to the Samsung service center and get it fixed from there..
cheers.
Hi
I broke my phone, my Nexus 5 fell directly on the screen
I have no intention to replace the Nexus itself only screen.
I have a problem that I just can not find anywhere a true original screen of LG and LG in the country I live in is not selling white Nexus phone screens, just black ones.
So I looked on eBay and found someone who claims to be selling original screens:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Google-...s-/351115283182?ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123
I bought it and I got the screen this week, and unfortunately it is also not original.
I was wondering if anyone has experience with seller on EBAY who sells original screens for white Nexus with frame and everything.
Thank you! :good:
if I were you, I would send it to LG and let them put on the black one... You get 3 months warranty on the same as well!
There's always a good chance that the display you buy online turning out to be a fake.

They are the same screens, you just take the white ear piece from your old screen, and put it on the new one.

You get what you pay for. Keep that in mind.
And personally, I'd rather have professionals install it than do it myself, it not work out and be out a phone and the money I paid for the cheaper screen.
Just my 2 cents. ?

Is there a cost associated with this workaround? If so, full disclosure please. If not then why not post the fix for all to see? Also, and I don't know the answer to this question, is this legal? Isn't FRP used to protect users who have their phones lost or stolen?

Maybe because as soon as any workaround is posted publicly, it gets patched.

That's entirely possible however, don't you think if they wanted to get the workaround they'd have it by now? A simple PM and perhaps a cost, although that has not been verified as of yet, would be a simple thing for a Google employee if they wanted it.

I didn't doubt your integrity I was just asking if this is a protection from devices that are lost or stolen or even spouses and miscreants that want to break into a device. And the question was is this legal or not?
i think its legal ! lets suppose that someone forget his gmail account and he did a factory reset and he tried all the ways to recover it but no luck !! or someone buy a phone from a website and found it locked frp !!!

No, I've heard the stories about buying one that was locked. The only thing is you now have become the judge, the jury and the executioner. If you are comfortable with taking someone's word for it on a PM then so be it. I really have only heard about those that bought it off a site or privately and couldn't get the Gmail password that locked it. If it's actually your account there are always ways of getting the password or resetting it. They will ask you questions that only you would know, ask for your last known password or some other things only the account holder would have.
Just curious, are you charging and if so, how much. Don't tell me if you don't want, it doesn't matter to me that much. I'd also like to know if Google can challenge someone doing this as illegal and bypassing licensing restrictions. I don't know but you might want to protect yourself just in case.
And.. what if someone is harmed by your breaking FRP? Would you be held liable for damages? Just some thoughts for you to ponder.
Well, impossible as it seems, another Pixel bites the dust!!
Thank you Ismail for everything, and congrats man for this truly amazing achievement! You are the top man as in this moment!
So guys, if you do have a problem with your FRP gone wild, contact Ismail. He really knows what he's doing.
