bootloop problem after flash the kernel

I have a problem, after I flashed ElementalX-N5 1.08.zip the device go into bootloop,
I solve it by re-flash the Rom file, but what is the problem, why my device didn't accept the ElementalX Kernel ?!
and what is the default kernel of this Flyme Rom, is It better than ElementalX Kernel in the Battery Saving ?!
I need to install kernel ElementalX to support The HDR google Camera Feature, bacause the Flyme Rom has a bad camera !
any Support please ?

Curiosity
This is the only android based rom that works on my hardware bricked Nexus 5 (moisture maybe); Sailfish, B2G and Ubuntu Touch works too, but the stock rom and other android based roms screen locks as soon configuration starts (usually touching in "next" after selecting language). I sense that porting the FLymeOS's app settings/configuration could reach any other rom run or something... Any ideas?

Yes that is what I used, I download it from the this thread so shoud is for CM
And also I tried with the new version 1.12, I download it from ElementalX page, the link was under the CM section ! But same problem, my device go into bootloop !
I have other question please, I changed the dpi of play store to 480 by using the Xposed module, but still I can't get some of Apps when I use the search box of play store !
Shoud change the whole dpi of system & applications or need to change another google app to solve this problem ?!

Flyme OS not working on my Nexus 5
I flashed the 3.8.2R Flyme OS zip but when it boots, on the language selection screen, it gives me the error "The process com.android.system" has stopped working every time i press NEXT after selecting a language. Restarting didn't help, Clearing Cache/Dalvik didn't help either.
I tried this on the Stock kernel in case that helps someone in helping me!

Still doesn't work. Once i flash gapps, no matter when i flash them, the phone won't go past the Language selection screen...

If you choose the language before flashing gapps no longer asks you choose it again (the language selection screen does not appear)

Well that's weird.. Coz i swear it asks me to select the language once again after i flash the gapps.. And that's after already using the phone without gapps and setting everything up beforehand..

Problems with immersive mode on fullscreen games
Hi. I flashed Flyme OS a couple of days ago, and I have to say I am loving every single moment of this. Love the interface, love the speed and even the battery life is pretty impressive compared some other ROMS!
Although, I have been experiencing an extremely annoying bug with fullscreen games. I play COC on my phone on a daily basis and when I open the game, the onscreen buttons (Back, Home and Recent) buttons don't disappear like they are supposed to on android 4.4. They stay fixed and visible.
Now, I normally wouldn't mind this, if the full game interface is visible. The problem is that the onscreen buttons are fixed on top of the game, which means that part of the screen is hidden behind the buttons. It is really difficult. I tried a couple of stuff I found on google to fix it.
The only thing I found closest to a fix is to disable the whole onscreen buttons thingy by setting the value of "mu.hw.mainkeys" to "1" in "build.prop" file. Then I installed the "PIE CONTROL" app by "coolace" from the Playstore. It have been working really well for now. But, since it includes installing an external app, which takes up more memory to run I was hoping you guys could look into this and suggest a way to fix this. I like to keep my device clean without installing too much extra applications!
Other than this little problem, I find this as a very top notch ROM. Good work to the developers. Keep it coming
Hope to hear from you guys, and I look forward to newer versions of this ROM, especially one ported with the latest Lollipop release!

I had this problem at the beginning too. But, I downloaded the latest PA Gapps pack and installed it. Worked like a charm after that!

This is the PICO package, which means that it will only install the most basic gapps like playstore and play services that you absolutely need to run the system properly! You will have to download the other apps like Gmail and Hangouts from paystore.

Has anyone here succesfully install flyme on lollipop especially with multirom? I always get bootloader error.

Yes. I installed after lollipop update. Got that error in the first try too!
When flashing the lollipop update, you flashed the hhz12d bootloader. All you have to do is flash the hhz11k bootloader using fastboot. Worked for me after that.

On first installation of every new ROM (and so for this CM12), you have to make a factory reset. You'll have to re-install or restore all apps after ROM install. An app restore from a CM11 Titanium Backup worked fine for me.
After that, on every new version of this ROM, just install the ROM zip file and wipe dalvik and cache. No app restore needed. For the moment, there is no automatic update as in CM11 via updater.
When official CM12 nightlies start, it should work without a factory reset too, as the official and unofficial ROMs have the same sources.

P.S. CM12 takes several minutes for first boot after each wipe of dalvik and cache. Be patient.

when i try to block unkown numbers in blacklist. the settings app crashes

I'm testing 28/12,I've installed it as an update of the cm 11 unofficial. it works very well, i haven't had any bug,only the camera doesn't focus.
Which kernel can i test on this rom?

Flashed 28/12 for hboot 2.16 tonight, no random reboots so far.
Had more reboots on 18/12 en 21/12 than on 03/12 so let's hope this stays this way on 28/12
Most of my reboots happened when using a camera app, standard camera and snapchat for example.
sound is still bugged, first couple of notifications were normal, just got one in now and it was distorted noise again
still missing the multiple volume adjustment option though

1. over here the background colour is different in every thread with other contacts. You could always download and use another messaging app, such as Textra (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.textra)
2. i've also had this problem but it was gone after rebooting. Do you change your notification tone in settings or in a specific app such as the messaging app?

Just a stupid question: in previous kitkat post you said the ROM's kernel still remain 4.2 because don't have source code. So, is this Lollipop ROM the same situation? Or this one is indeed the native version of Lollipop on xc?

Unfortunately It's the same situation because we cannot flask custom kernel due to Locked Boot loader

Another question. With the lollipop ROM (or previous kitkat) on xc, could the apps with required version 4.4+ be installed? (ex: smartwatch relatives app). I love xc but sony makes me desperate without provide system upgrade...

I did not try what you are asking, so probably you have to give a try to it

Bug findings
OK here's what I found:
Massive battery drain bug is back (incorrect battery report bug, 25%-0%)
Buttons in quick settings and widgets are sometimes not working (I've noticed this on screen orientation and mobile data, had to get to settings menu to change those)
Xperia Keyboard typing calibration is all over the place (when I press backspace, L or P is sometimes pressed, when you press space, middle screen is mysteriously tapped sometimes. Have not experienced this on Lollipop keyboard, yet
Those being said, I'm on S1 boot version 2.14.J.2.13 (when I updated the ROM, S1 didn't get updated) . I'll try to flash again whem I get home but using S1 2.14.J.2.16

Found a new one:
Installed small apps lose their icon on restart ( but still installed).
Still on office, not re-flashing yet

Done reflashing
I'm done re-flashing, and an outdated S1 boot version seemed to be the cause. The first two problems (Battery drain and widget bug) have disappeared , but the Xperia keyboard problem is still there. The widget small app seems to be a problem on my part; since I installed it on SD card. I moved the apk's on /system and the problem went away.

I installed CM 11 on my D838 and he booted. Rom is crazy fast. Installed with Philz recovery.

Make sure you link the Gapps, some people will wlash without it if the dont know

Now i think you are ready to buil cm12.1 rom for g pro 2. I'll wait for it

I installed rom with "gapps-kk-20140606-signed" google apps.

So awesome to see vanilla android on g pro 2. I was about to order a nexus 6 but I'll wait to cm12 on this phone

It's cool, i have downloaded your rom and will test it at night

I keep getting error 7 in CWM recovery on my d838, error 7 indicates an incompatibility in devices. The version of CWM I have is based on the F350 G Pro 2 so it won't let me install this rom, could anyone tell me how they installed it on their D838?

I've tried Philz and CWM and I can't find any TWRP images for my D838, so how would I get twrp on my phone?

I tested your rom on my f350l and there are some bugs:

Installed on d838 but stuck at LG logo.

So the second build (20150515) installed without a problem but it doesn't boot, it just stays at the LG logo. I'm aware that the first boot of new software can usually take a long time but I left it for half an hour but nothing happened. I'm very grateful of your efforts on this project and I'm looking forward to the next build. I hope it boots next time.

Fix for installation on f350 recovery
To fix installation with philz (F350 recovery) we need to edit "update-scrip" file thats located in
CM installation zip > META-INF > com > google > android > update script
I suggest to edit with notepad++
Need to edit 2 lines to look like this :

getprop("ro.build.product") == "f350" || (edit "d838 to f350")

It can be booted with 41.19, i've flashed GPE 5.1 and then this rom, had a little bit of a problem with gapps, but solved it wiping cache and rebooting.

you have to first convert your phone to gpe then sim will be detected

I used gapps of CyanogenMod on installation and has success at boot

You dont have to flash gpe ,but you must change file system to ext4 via recovery,actually ,someone have decleared how to flash the rom.
I followed the below Method for installation:
Just wipe a phone and format a data as EXT4 using TWRP for GPE
Copy the ROM zip file into the pen drive and mount the USB OTG and flash ROM through TWRP recovery for GPE.
Reboot Phone.
For Installing Google account and other Google play store services just search Googleplay from MI App store search via DU(Screenshots Attached)
then install Google installer .after that install and update every google products like google plus, google play services,chrome browser. etc.

thanks for this wonderful ROM.
Is it possible to have the old theme zip? I preferred it.
And is it possible, in some way, to change nav bar buttons?
I mean, lollipop ones would be nice, making them transparent
Cause installing Auto hide soft key/Ultimate dynamic nav buttons makes my phone to reboot after supersu request.

yep and that will happen with every root action i think, or at least that happened to me in that version

A little problem
Hello xD first of all I'd like to congrat you for your awesome work with this rom. flashing went smoothly with TWRP for GPE and ext4 formatted system partition . Boot was fast and OK.
My problem is that after installing google services, I uninstalled the some of the built-in apps (mi market, mi cloud, mi wallet and finance app) and tried to reboot but i got stuck at the mi logo and apparently i bootlooped. what can i do to prevent this as i dont want to have xiaomi apps in chinese in my phone xP

Whatsapp notification problem in miui6 rom
Hi,
Could someone please tell me if they know how fix the notification problem in miui.
Whenever I clean it i don't get any notification. So I thought keeping in the recent might solve the issue but didn't work either. The notification seems to stop by itself. Same problem with other apps with notification.
Tried different methods like setting the app to turn on when device starts but didn't work either. Then I read that PNF root app will work i tried didn't help either.
Could someone please help me. if possible step by step process.
It's one of the reason I went back to my old rom by master awesome.

2.主题无法下载、商店应用无法下载、系统自带所有无法下载
3.SuperSu部分应用获取权限出现自动重启
