KitKat 4.4.2 Strange storage behavior - Apps taking space both sdcard and phonestorag - General Topics

I have iFive 3GS tablet running Android KitKat 4.4.2 (FW version 2.0.3).
The device has a "16GB" of storage, and I have a 16 GB sdcard.
SDCARD is mounted at /storage/sdcard0 and is known in settings as SD CARD
Internal storage is mounted at /storage/sdcard1 and is known in settings as Phone Storage
The strange thing is that Settings->Storage shows the same size of Applications on both SD CARD and Phone Storage - check the screenshots.
Is it only a bug in the settings menu or do apps take space on both storages. Is there a way to disable this behavior?
I can provide more information if needed.
The device is rooted.

[Q] re-sizing MTK6589 partitions

I own a Lenovo S920 phone [based on mtk6589],
It seems that by default the internal memory parted to "Internal Storage" and "Usb Storage" [when inserting a uSD card it adds "SD Storage".
This cause trouble - because the apps installed on "Internal Storage" partition - when you try to move them to external (SD) storage it moves them to USB Storage, it seems like the phone have 2 external storages (even in root explorer I see sdcard0 and sdcard1)
I had before a phone that was based on MTK6577 - and it had only one internal partition (that was including the system and the storage).
My friend told me that he saw this issue on other phones.
Did someone manage to re-part the internal memory or solve this issue?
The answer will be post on the Lenovo S920 thread:

Make all my apps movable

Hello again Android Guru's.
It seems that some apps can't move to SD Card by default and some can. Is there any possibility to change the storage that an app will be installed?
As you might imagine I have already root my phone and switched my ext_sdcard as sdcard (internal storage). My problem is that my apps install to my phone storage and SOME OF THEM can't be moved to my Internal Storage (which my phone reads as SDCARD).
Further details:
Phone: Tipo (Rooted)
Phone Storage: 750MB (where my apps install by default)
Internal Storage: 16GB (former "ext_sdcard)
SD Card : 2,5GB (former internal storage "sdcard")

There is an app on the market called Link2sd which can force apps to move to the sd card. You need to be careful though, some apps will break if moved completely. The best option if you are not sure is to link them to the sd using this app rather than moving them completely. More info can be found here:

Don't forget to hit thanks if I've helped!

Storage mounting behaviour

Hello guys, have a question about android storage mounting policy.
My Acer Z500 (Stock rooted 4.4.2) always mount the external sdcard as sdcard0 when it is inserted, and change my internal storage from sdcard0 to sdcard1.
How can I prevent this from happening? I want my external sdcard to be storage1 as I have plenty of internal storage available.
