I had an usb flash drive connected to my Nexus 5 using Stick mount from Chainfire. I left it copy many files and later i could not unmount the volume. So I rebooted but every time it says it's mounted, even though it's disconnected, and in file manager it shows the folders on the disconnected device. I tried to connect another device, successfully mounted, but when I unmount it instead of saying no mounted devices it says the previous device is connected. Tried to restore a Nandroid but it didn't work. What happens?
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist.
For future reference you can find your specific device forum here (bookmark/subscribe this):
Google Nexus 5
Within that section you will find a dedicated q&a sub-forum:
Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
And within that q&a section you'll find a great q&a help thread here:
[HELP THREAD] Nexus 5 | Ask any question
I'd suggest you go and ask your question there, it'll reach the most suitable people to help you out.
Good luck!

It seems to me it's not a problem specifically related to the particular device, so I posted on the general board. If any moderator thinks it would be more appropriate to move the post there's no problem to me, I didn't find a suitable category for OTG specific problem, that's all.
It's possible that it is a device specific problem, and asking within your specific device forum should be your first port of call when encountering a problem anyway. So my advice is to ask in the Nexus 5 help thread that that I linked you to earlier. Or you can ask in the general Android q&a section if you want to.
Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
But it makes more sense to ask in your device forum.
PS. XDA Assist isn't a general board as you call it, we're not a general helpdesk area, our purpose is to point people who don't know where to post in the right direction.
Thread closed, thanks.

Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately very little is known about such a low-end and low-popularity device, so we're not really any help to you, sorry. I can see you've asked this same question in this thread:
[TOOL KIT] myKIT_BATCHV1.1.x
If that person doesn't respond to you then I'd suggest you ask your question in the general q&a section of XDA here:

Hi,
We are currently trying to port CM11 to the Samsung Galaxy Beam Gt-i8530. This phone has practically zero support from developers nor does a device forum exist for it on XDA. We have problems with the camera on CM11. The cam crashes a couple of seconds right after it starts up. I have the logs but I would like to know in which XDA section I should post a specific CM related question. In the general Q&A?
thanks

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
I'm sorry to hear about your trouble. There is no forum specifically for the THL 5000 but you may want to ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you. Since your device is not widely used, please be patient and give the experts plenty of time to respond.
Good luck!
