Looking for the latest flashable zip with clockwork mod. I have an older version installed and can't boot into my phone because applying a rom failed and it seem to brick at the google logo. I can however enter my old recovery but can't install a rom because my cwm is too old. So i am looking for the latest cwm that is flashable so that i can upgrade. Thanks

[Q] Restore Nandroid 2.3.3 ROM, always encounter MD5 mismatch

Hi, guys.
I was trying to restore back to the stock ROM, sadly the ClockworkMod Recovery always promote MD5 mismatch!
The ClockworkMod Recovery version is 3.0.1.4. And the Roms I used to restore were downloaded from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=968403
I have used MD5 calculator to look up the nandroid.md5 file, which is fine. And here is the file:
1086aa66b1fe5226a2db6fe9266a25fc boot.img

So, I wondering why ClockworkMod Recovery keep promote MD5 mismatch!
Any ideas?
The latest Clockwork is 3.0.0.5 according to ROM Manager. I've seen posts of 3.0.1.X+ but its not officially on the ROM Manager.
Solutions:
- Try another MD5 program, I use HashTab.
- Use another browser to download the file.

The MD5 of the downloaded Zip files(ROM) are correct, so there is no need to download them again.
I'm thinking of reinstall the ClockworkMod recovery, How can I uninstall current ClockworkMod recovery and then flash a new one?
just reflash it via fastboot. search the forum on instructions on how to do it.
or use rom manager

its simple man if you have a custom recovery already all you need to do is flash the zip file like any other file you would in CWM.
if you dont have a custom recovery already use odin check out vincoms stickie in the developement page and flash the recovery thru odin and that it . pretty simple

the issue lies in that the only way to install the custom rom is to upgrade my custom recovery to the latest one, and thanks for your response!
EDIT: I researched online and found a method with fastboot and the recovery image, I will try this, is this a wrong method or is it possible?
You don't need fastboot at all if you already have a custom recovery installed. Just download the cwm flashable zip and flash it just like you would a rom (install zip from sd card > choose zip from internal/external > choose the cwm zip and choose install, then choose the recovery option to reboot recovery to boot into the new recovery.

If you have CWM or ClockWork Mod installed on your phone.
----- ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PUT THE CWM TOUCH ZIP FILES ON YOUR EXTERNAL SD CARD AND NOW GO TO RECOVERY MODE AND FLASH IT, GO TO INSTALL FROM SD CARD, I'M PRETTY SURE YOU KNOW IT? OR IF NOT MESSAGE ME I'LL HELP YOU STEP BY STEP.
If you DON'T have CWM.
----- download a cwm and flash it through odin and after having cwm, do that instruction above.

You're all jacked up, dude. Just grab the zip file, place it on your sd card, and flash it in recovery.

[Q] 2 Recoverys Flashed Help!

A while ago i rooted my phone and put a custom rom on it, liked it the got sick of it then flashed back to stock . a day or two later i instantly regretted this decision so i reverted back. This was a very drawn out process because my phone was being dumb etc, i initially tried to flash TWRP on it which worked , but it never flashed roms correctly for me , so i flashed CWM on it and that worked. flashed a rom , and it worked. I now want to flash a new rom but when i boot to recovery , TWRP is still there but when i am in Rom manager, it says CWM 6.0.3.1 is installed.
Is there a way to use odin to flash this back to stock and just flash CWM on the so i can get on with my life and flash new roms?
TL;DR
there are 2 recoveries (TWRP and CWM)
TWRP is accessible but doesn't work
need access to CWM
is there odin or a type of software i can use to solve this ?
I know i ****ed up pretty good, any help would be greatly appreciated!
Download GooManager from the Playstore. Then from GooManager run OpenRecoveryScript which will flash the latest TWRP.

can i flash CWN instead?

I'm pretty sure that GooManager will install only TWRP. I would start there to fix your problem, since GooManager will install the recovery easily. Once you have TWRP you can switch by installing CWM if you'd like. For that, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2305721

[Q] [i815] CWM flashable version of the latest stock Verizon ROM with root?

I have an Verizon GT7.7 [i815] and would like to go back to the stock ROM, but I'd like to keep root and Clockwork recovery. I would also like to just flash the stock version via Clockwork recovery. Is there a copy of the latest stock ROM that is flashable with CW?

[Q] ClockWork Mod

Hey, I want to install the AOKP ROM that I found here, but I need CWM 6.0.4 in order to flash it, but I already have a version of CWM in my Tablet. How do I update my CWM? Do I just install it as if i didn't have any CWM? Or is there something else I should do? Bascially, what am I supposed to do in order to update CWM? Thanks!

Just go ahead and flash the latest version from within your CWM recovery. BTW, may want to try TWRP because CWM is no longer going to be maintained. or updated. Just an FYI You can find the latest here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548476
