The current stock ringtones for Galaxy devices have always been lame, I hope they have improved them.

The LG G3 has a much better selection. I have a RAZR HD and rock those G3 ring tones and notifications sounds on mine.

My Tab suffers from low volume & mediocre audio from the speaker specially when watching certain movies. Ive been looking for an app to control audio volume and EQ and found an app called DSP Manager (current version 2.2).
It features a beautiful interface, installs without a problem but doesnt seem to have any effect when applying EQs... the sound is always the same. HAs anyone else succesfully installed this app on a galaxy Tab and make it work? Id love to be able to use it on my Tab.
On a side note, are there other similar apps that do the same job volume/EQ that work on the Tab?

I have a AudioBoost, and work very nice, no probleme with the sound.

AudioBoost only works for headset NOT for the built-in speaker on the Tab!

I just installed but not found video. But seems very soon SGT will get video calling via skype
Not yet supported for Samsung Devices especially Galaxy Tab. Lets just wait for another update from Skype guys.

Is it work on Galaxy tab 2.2 (Froyo) ?!!!!
This patched version is working fine on my SGT:

It supports front & back camera, but the video stuffs up (stays black) if I select the back one after having already used the front one.

As far as I know video support requires 2.3.

so what I can do with my tab ?!!!
I tested between SGT and PC.. It works excellent..
I have just 100 kb/s internet connection. Skype works fine wtih this speed...
I try it , its ok. video very god quality. SGT Gingerbread Overcome v2.0.1-HERMES

Hi I don't have a note but I have a galaxy player 5.0 and the screen sizes are super close and I was wondering if someone would be awesome enough to port the s-apps like s-note so I can install to data instead of system fo my player.
I don't have the apps to post sorry but you could find them in the note forums.
Please I would love to use the apps that it has.

In the prior hyperdrive s4 editions there was a notification sound effect that sounded like a shotgun being racked. For the life of me I can't find it with the new hd edition. Anyone know what phone this was from or where to get it? Thanks

What you could do is download one of the older editions then open the .zip file and look for the sound which should be under system/media then search through the UI sounds.

Hey together, I hope it's the right thread for this ^^
I made a techno bootanimation and a shutdownanimation in qmg format incl. boot- and shutdownsound.
If you like Techno and got a rooted Samsung phone, give it a try
Just unzip the zipfile, transfer the qmg files to:
/system/media
The soundfiles to:
/system/media/audio/ui
Give the permissions (rw-r-r)
And reboot.
Hope you like it and please give some feedback

I think so. I zoomed in too much. If I zoom a bit out, the quality should be better. I will take a look, when I'm awake enough to do such things ^^
