Flash the image of cwm or 4ext with fastboot.
And please at least rename the title of your first post to need help at flashing recovery or something like that.

Hi,
Sorry, revolutionary does not work with 1.27 yet.
Apparently ,it will come soon, but there is no eta.
There is a possibility to root, but it involves using HTC DEV
Look HERE

Hi,
What ROM did you try to install?
I recommend you try to install ARHD 6.6.2
It will install root and 4EXT recovery.
hey,
I installed a stock ROM successfully , but I'm still stuck with bootloop !!! can u please tell me what to do ??

Hi,
There has been a whole spate of these problems recently.
From what I can make out,the only way you can proceed is to use HTC DEV.
This is not a good thing ,because they then know what you have done, and you stand little chance if you attempt to return the phone under warranty.
So, the decision is yours.
Wait until someone figures a way to s-off 1.27
Or go with the HTC DEV method, which will then allow you to root and install custom ROMS that have a 3.32 base.
Thanks a lot buddy !!!
I tried HTC dev but still stuck with the problem !! will have to wait for revolutionary to s off 1.27 !!

if you have unlocked bootloader by HTCdev then you can still install custom roms but only which support stock kernel like ARHD
you can just flash ARHD with stock kernel option(this is important ) through recovery... provided that you have updated firmware (3.32....)
I tried installing stock rom from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529941
It installed successfully but im still stuck with bootloop !!! Is it because of the firmware ?? But when i try updating my firmware it says "parsing PG581IMG.zip" !!! Plz can u help me out ???

Hi,
You need to flash the boot.img (which you can get by unzipping it from the rom .zip) via fastboot.
Install the rom first as usual on 4EXT, and then:
- Extract the boot.img and place it on your adb PC folder
- Start Sensation on fastboot usb
- Flash the boot.img: fastboot flash boot boot.img
- Reboot
If the rom you want to install has choices for custom kernels, you have to extract the .img which match the kernel you choose at rom install and flash it via fastboot as described.
If you don't do this way you will be stuck at bootloops.
The explanation of this is, as you have unlocked via HTCdev method and still s-on, the kernel are not flashed in boot partition when you install the rom from recovery, but you can flash it by using adb/fastboot from the command line.
Hey ,
Thanks a lot , buddy !!! its working !!! thank you thank you !!! Thanks a ton !!!

- Extract the boot.img and place it on your adb PC folder
- Start Sensation on fastboot usb
- Flash the boot.img: fastboot flash boot boot.img
- Reboot

you got stock recovery so you need to have custom recovery
4EXT is good one so
flash the recovery / install recovery from this thread
recovery here
its a apk...so just download it to your sd card and install it....when installing it'll ask you whether you are s-on or not...say "yes" -> this is pretty important
after that you can download the rom and install it...as per the steps provided by "htcsensationz710e"
if you got doubts..let me know
Thank you, I will try it and let you know what happens.
my phone can't access the recovery and i want to change the rom
hboot: 1.27 . s-on . UNLOCK
rom: stock rom ICS 4.0.3
firmware: 3.33
PD: with unlocked bootloader I can use another kernel??
PD2: the reason for this is that I can not access the recovery because a brick happened to my phone so I did it working again through a tutorial.
this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1522351
and when I try to access the recovery, it is a bit stuck on the htc logo and starts normally
why not have access the recovery???
thanks!

if you can boot your device normally install 4ext updater
then from it install 4ext recovery via internet
http://www.4ext.net/
if that fails too then use a ruu.exe to start over
see here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1672425
then root again
but by the way did you follow correctly the steps flashing the recovery from the guide than above user provided you?

What happens if you go to recovery trough bootloader or just reflash 4ext latest recovery and format everything except sd card than enable smartflash and flash Rom ,if then doesn't boot up just flash boot img from pc via fastboot and you're done
Sent from my HTCSensation using xda app-developers app
I also have the same problem as the OP. I tried wiping all but sd, enabling smartflash, and reinstalling the rom from sd card. The phone still boots up only to htc logo. I do not have s-off, but I'm rooted and bootloader is unlocked.

Hi, I'm a new member here. Today I rooted my HTC sensation Z710e in hopes of installing Kitkat 4.4.2 on it. I unlocked boot loader through HTC Dev website, installed CWM and rooted it successfully. I never S-Offed my device. It's on/was official 4.0.3 ROM. It's still S-On. I tried flashing kitkat rom through CWM. It said it's successful but when I restarted my device it just won't pass the green HTC logo. Have I somehow bricked my device ? Is there anyway of making it boot normally. I still want to install kitkat rom though.
PS: It was my first rooting attempt
Help appreciated ?
