Okay, Hi. I will try to give all the details as far as possible about the issue.
Canvas Knight A350 running on Kitkat 4.4.2. It was not rooted when the problem occured.
The problem is whenever I turn on the phone it shows the MIcromax logo later powered by android and canvas knight welcome screen for 5-7 secs but gets switched off automatically after that. The home screen does not appear. Sometimes for flash of a second it appears and I could see the wallpaper, app shortcuts in the background out and the "power off shutting down" screen
Things I've already tried :
1. Charging the phone : Whenever the charger is connected it shows the charging symbol with the lowest battery and after 5-6 seconds it says "Error, Please remove the charger."
2. Wipe Cache Partition : Installed recovery with SP Tools and wiped cache. No update.
3. Wipe Battery Stats and Dalvik Cache : Phone started with the screen "Android is upgrading. Optimising apps ... out of 163..." It finished optimizing all apps then shows homescreen for a second again wit the "Power off... shutting down." So issue not solved.
4. Mounting all possible disks etc. : No update still the same problem.
A. The phone has an internal sd card so using the recovery mode I took backup also. But I don't know what all that items the backup option takes? Will it take contacts, sms, whatsapp msgs, application apks? I havent taken any backup using Titanium or anything for the phone / apps / or their data otherwise.
B. I am able to browse the internal sd card folders in recovery mode but how do I copy them to the PC?
C. If I use the Wipe data / factory reset feature of the recovery what data will I lose? Will the internal sd card also get wiped??
D. I'm currently downloading the Kitkat official rom to update it manually using recovery. Will that also make me lose all my data on phone storage - contacts, settings etc.? and internal sd card?
E. Is there any better way to solve my problem without the whole factory reset or flashing ROM? Because appears to me that its some software glitch and the phone is not actually bricked!! (the appearing of home screen and wallpapers even if just for a second) Maybe something is sending a power off command to the phone as soon as it gets turned on?
F. Could it be a hardware or battery voltage issue? Should I post the battery test readings from the factory mode? How to conduct the test properly?
Hi there,
I'm sorry but I can't find anything relevant to your question except this all in one thread where you can ask directly: [ALL IN ONE]Micromax Canvas Knight A350 Aka Canvas 6

Here is my situation, my phone is HTC myTouch 3g...I wanted to lessen the internal or system's space but can't find the right software to do it in Market so I played with my phone and what I did is restart chosing "Recovery". When I reached prompts and commands area I chose to wipe out battery memory (don't know what was the exact term but something like that)...so now, my battery won't charge plus when I did "Reboot Recovery", the phone won't start as if it wipes out all the system! So now, I'm hanging on for 30 minutes or so but nothing happened when I turned my phone on, it just shows HTC Magic and nothing else. I wonder how to fix this problem. My phone won't even connect to the PC via USB or even if I plug it through AC charger.
OK, so I figured out how to go to the Clock Recovery but still, it won't boot! Help!
Full Wipe
Wipe Cache
go to mounts and storage
format boot
format system
format data
go back to main menu
install .zip from SD Card
flash CM from there and reboot.
Replacing rom in HTC HD2 NAND
hi, new to this rooting stuff. Got android rom loaded on NAND of my htc hd2. This not like this rom so i want to try a new rom. My question is do i have to erase my phone or do anything to it before i flash a new rom. thanks.
Problem Solved but...
Here is what I did to the problem:
1. I downloaded Cyanogen Mod 6 for my HTC Magic to my PC. I also downloaded the Google Tiny Apps. I put both into a newly formatted SD card (must be FAT32).
2. Since I still have the ClockWorkMod I restarted my phone by pressing the home and power button. I pressed install from flash from the options and it gave me options to open and install both of Cyanogen and/or Google Apps, I did Cyanogen update first then Google Tiny Apps. Note that there will be only two options. I forgot to write down the exact path name. The path names were obvious so you'll figure it out when you get there.
3. Just wait until the install is finished, look at the prompt in the screen until it says done.
4. Then reboot it using the options, just press the back button to go back to Clock's home screen.
Then it is done and solved.
BUT!!!!!! My problem now is that the backlight option is missing so my phone has no backlight now.........somebody help with that glitch???
i have successfully install the ROM as per xda suggestion but after that i how the my phone not support the sd card its show like "insert the sd card" before that its working what can i do ?

Hello. I've been using Link2SD to link apps to my ext4 SD card partition with no problems, but yesterday I deleted some system apps and now, after booting and showing the lock screen (I can unlock and use my phone for a few seconds) the screen turns black, but it's still on because I can see the backlight on, nothing responds, even the bottom bar with the triangle, circle and square buttons dissapear.
I hold the power button and it does nothing, I have to force power off by holding the power button, and when I turn it on again, it boots normally, then shows a "Android is optimizing applications",, after aprox 15 mins optimizing apps, it boots normally , and then hangs with the black screen again, and the loop continues unless I remove the SD card and none of my linked apps shows (thats why I guess the problem is with Link2SD).
Can anyone help me here? I don't know if there is any way to log things that happen before the phone hangs, and never had this problem before, so I'm kinda lost here.
I deleted the apps "My consumer cellular" and "My extras", without making a backup first, and I don't know what's their real function. Maybe all this is happening because I deleted them? Because the other are Google apps that I don't think will cause this issue.
I attached the apps that I removed before the problem started.
Thanks for any help.

Wow, glad someone can help me!! Yes! I wiped both partitions using TWRP recovery. Right now I'm experimenting with wiping the ext4 partition (I backed it up) and link some new apps to see if the problem persists. If not, I'll copy all my old apps from the backup and try to boot again.
Strange problem, if the problem persists after all that, I guess I'll have to flash the ROM like you did.
Edit: I noticed an issue that happened to me me before while copying files from the ext4 partition. There were 2 files that I could not copy because of an error, the same error happened to me before with this phone while I was copying apps files from the SD card (FAT partition, using the normal "Move to SD card" Android button). Those file that I could not copy were causing my SD to be unmounted after boot, and I would mount it again and after some seconds, unexpectedly unmounted again!
I can't copy all the files to the ext4 partition, probably the mounting software I'm using is doing something wrong, because I copied the full sized folder from it to my pc. I'll have to reinstall all the apps, but at least my phone won't be hanging again (I hope!).
Did flashing you ROM again solved all the issues for you? Doing that wipes data? I've never flashed another ROM.

If flashing the stock ROM or a custom ROM will solve the problem.
hint:
If you want to do backup applications, you can use the AutoMoto! "Backup / APP" This option is being tested, but so far did not matter with me.

Ok! Thanks a lot for your help
Hi All,
I got my OPO installed with Cosmic OS through a friend few months back, and my Phone started giving out troubles off late. I never had the experience of flashing phones. To start my device fresh, I did a complete factory reset without knowing the dos/donts of a custom ROM (Deleted all the data without backup), and it screwed up my device.
After Factory Reset:
Most of the apps don't work
Not able to access the internal storage. Could see the internal storage through Settings > Storage, but not able to access through files explorer application.
Device getting detected in my comp. while connecting through USB, but its empty. Not able to transfer data either.
Is there a method I can recover my storage and reinstall a ROM?
Thanks, Vivek

I think you might have unintentionally formatted your internal storage.Do this: Power off your device>Press Power off+vol down buttons simultaneously until you see 1+ logo, you'll be greeted with twrp splash screen after that>Select Install, and see if your files, that were in internal storage before, are still there or not(see attached screenshot). If they aren't there,I'm sorry, but there's no possibility of getting your files back now.
Now,to flash a new ROM,see rom threads and there should be instructions in first post of that thread on how to flash. After done, blame your frand for all of this.

Hey Mr. AK, thanks for sharing these steps. But unfortunately I dont see TWRP splash screen opening in Reboot. However, it opens in CyanogenMod Recovery mode. While doing my full factory reset of my device earlier, I remember deleting TWRP and GAPPS from the device(Unknowingly).
I now installed TWRP app through app store, the following are some things I saw after installation
When I select TWRP Flash from the home screen, it opens a the next screen with a pop up notification at the bottom saying 'Device Not Rooted'
When I select Reboot option through the options pane on the left, and then select REBOOT Recovery, it doesn't reboot.
I'm not able to downoad the TWRP image for my device as well.
Is there anything that I could do from this state?

Hello everyone, i was searching most advanced and capable android forum to ask my problem.
I have a problem that hurts me ) , i think I HOPE here is i can find effective solution
I own couple of phones but last months i used low level android phone because of coronavirus and its pandemic process.. Cant remember fully 'Android OS Version' but phone is NOKIA 3 16 GB Model: TA-1020 + 32GB Sandisk Ultra MicroSd HC-I
After 3 , 4 months normally i saved alot of personal things in Nokia 3 phone ( photos , whatsapp logs , videos , received sounds , .pdf , .xls files etc.. etc.. )
i saved alot of personal things on sd card ( its encrypted with Nokia 3 :/ )
and here we goo problem starting here 3 or 4 days ago suddenly nokia started problems os cant start normally... only says at opening ''' no disk space! ''' ( before lock code - pattern ) '' SYSTEM STOPPED ---> TRY AGAIN - INFO - CLOSE '' ( this menu options design like normal os 'android menu' )..
I tried everything like try again close etc... but forgot to try FORCE TO SAFE MODE so sad... NO RESULT.
in the time this options are gone. OS cant boot itself normally again there is no try , app info , close menus again.
its freezing at nokia logo after android logo... Push power button > Android logo CHECK > Nokia Logo check but not resume freezing(stuck) here
I tried recovery menu ( volume up + power button pushing )
RECOVERY SCREEN there is couple of options like;
its very limited and not being able so much intervention.
reboot system
reboot to Bootloader
...... adb
........ from sd card
run graphic test
run local test
wipe data/FACTORY RESET
wipe cache
mount /system
view recovery-debug logs
power off
thats all...
i tried 2 3 times wipe cache ( i hope didnt delete my personal datas with that option on sd card or internal disk... I googled it says totally safe option harmless for data's ) ...
Im %100 sure my all datas+sd card's decrypt key inside it they are still healthy. Because never tried wipe data/FACTORY RESET OPTION
os cant start i dont know how to internal disk getting FULL and cant start itself. But in that point i cant run OS.
Phone doesnt have any hardware, different software problem totally healthy and very new.
So my question is there is any solution , option for me? Can , take it my datas inside internal disk or can run ANDRIOD os normally again? Maybe a capable person can delete something in it an os can run perfectly with that new ''disk space''...
I wont wipe all data because i will lose sd card too ( its encrypted ), if we cant run os normally from that point can we take 'DECRYRPT KEY' for Sandisk Ultra with personal datas .pdf .xls photos voices etc.. et.c. ( im sure all in internal disk )
""""" I will hire professional for this actions , but there is a hope or not? """"" You know tech guys says its ok we can do it but there is some important datas at least for me! So I think we only have one try to save them.
And last question is Android os with google account normal backup's also possible to store sd card's decrypt key in cloud too?
Thanks everyone , i hope i have made a correct and efficient expression for my problem.. And very sorry i took your time.
