my m2 can't enter in fastboot mode why?
Need more details...
How did you trie?
Does fastboot show your phone? If not, what OS are you using? If 8.1, then it has a problem with drivers - you need to disable driver signature enforcement to install them.

Did you unlocked the bootloader?
You need unlocked bootloader to get in fastboot.

I have branded Xperia L with "Bootloader unlock: Not Allowed", but fastboot is enabled on it (Fastboot on Ubuntu shows the device as "ZH8000MG4X fastboot" and the light on the device is blue)
I've seen various Xperia devices (like Xperia Z) that have CWM Recovery available for locked bootloaders and all they need is to have fastboot enabled and root
I want to ask if there is any developer here that could port ClockworkMod Recovery (Or any other Custom recovery) for our device

Still no news about installing CWM on locked bootloader for Xperia L ???
I have installed Flashtool v9.23.1. I tried to unlock my phone (Sony Xperia E3 D2202) bootloader but i get an error saying there are no drivers. I tried to install them from the flashtool folders but there are multiple drivers.
I think the Common Drivers JDM-Platform is the correct one. But when I try to Install it it shows failed to install. How can i unlock my bootloader without using the Android SDK method. Pls Help!!
Hi,
I'm trying to Unlock the bootloader on my Sony Xperia E3 D2206, When I do the Special number in the dialer to get to the Service Menu, It says my unlock status is "no"... I was gonna try to flash a custom Recovery/Rom, But I can't unlock, I also can't get into the Fastboot, or Flash mode. I need to flash a Custom Rom because The Stock rom is experiencing major issues. But, how can I "force" it to Unlock the bootloader, or "Force" it to enter Fastboot/Flash mode? Cause I've ran out of ideas.
My phone in the developer menu state that I have "Unlock Bootloader", same is confirmed by *#*#7378423#*#*
Still, flashtool and fastboot flash boot <kernel.img> , both return "Failed - command not allowed"
What I am missing ?
Other command from fastboot, like detect device and reboot are working, so ... I guess it is not a driver issue
Thanks

PS: On my old Z2 I was able to root with kingroot and then install dual recovery , but kingroot can't root my Z5 and I did try on Android 5 or 6 or 7 for Z5 Dual
I think I did boot into the bootloader, but fastboot isn't finding my device.
Does anybody know what is happening?
