[Completed] [Q] Kyocera Duraforce - XDA Assist

Hello, I have a kyocera dura force
It came from the factory with a kernal after the June 3rd situation and I am wondering if there is any way to root it yet.
I am tired of all the bloatware apps taking up space and pretty much just flat out sucking, and I would like to be rid of them.
Last post about this phone was on dec 2014, its been two months and I am wondering if there is any progress made on this device, I know it is not super popular but the components inside of it are, I mean it has a qualcom snapdragon cpu .. which is in dam near every phone out there, so there has to be a way.
I know if you google the kernal though .. you get nothing on it "3.4.0-gea4190d"
any help would be amazing.

[Completed] [Q] Rooting Doro Liberto 810

Hello guys. I just recently got a new Doro Liberto 810 phone phone and I tried rooting it to no avail. I used many differnt rooting softwares. Apparently its not a very popular device because it was developed for people who know little about smartphones. Is there any other way I can root the phone because it's present format isn't very encouraging.

[Completed] [Q] Cant find info/resources for Zopo C7, where to start.

Hi
I have a zopo Zp990, C7.
To say it has problems would be an understatement. It isn't the best purchase I have ever made.
Long story made short, the zopo is so buggy I tried using it for about a month, fiddled with it for a couple more and then put it back into its box. I recently got it out to use as a wifi device (because that's all it is good for) and got to thinking... I could use this to learn a little about the multitude of options available to Android users ( I am a complete "Beginner" ).
Unfortunately I cant find much in the way of info/resources that are zopo zp990 specific.
The device is 2x32gb Captain S model running 4.2.1 and it is rooted (with eRoot).
My next step was going to be the installation of CWM or TWRT, then do a backup and try installing a 4.4.2 rom.
The problem is that I have been completely unsuccessful in finding a CWM or TWRT version that is stated as being compatible with the C7 Captain S. I understand (have seen) that some people use variants intended for other devices but I don't have the competence/experience (nerve) to try that path.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Fred.

[Completed] [Q] Rooting an unsupported device; Sprout Cubby

Hi, I'm lost and looking for information on how to root a Sprout Cubby tablet. My wife and I have both rooted our phones and are familiar with the processes and etc. But I'm a little lost on what to do about this device. The main thing I'm wanting root for, is to block ads. I would love to use xposed and freedom as well, but ad blocking is my main concern as it's for my two year old son.

[Completed] Some apps and other spots say my tablet is rooted out of the box. Is it ?

iRULU Alps X10 t10
Build test keys
I am just learning about all of this stuff and am doing a lot of research before I just dive off the deep end with this whole rooting thing. There are lots of things I would like to do and I get the response "not available not ROOTED." Is there any help for this and how. I am trying to learn Linux and commanding prompts so most things look foreign at this time. So all the command prompting in these forums I'm not sure what to do with just yet. I still have training pants on and need forums for dummies please.

[Completed] I have a chinese 10.1 inch tablet and every 1/2 days it sets ringtones to default.

A i need to do really is get into the system and put my ringtones, alarms and notifications into the system ones so as everything starts at the same time. The manufacturer will not help, saying it is a system problem and they will give me a refund, or another phone tablet, then the same happens again. Total bull as a lot of chinese phones do this. I have tried to root it but it will not root, If i can root it the issue is solved, Tried Kingo Root Framaroot plus a multitude of other ones and nada...The company is Laude , 4.2.2 android, build No is mtx6572, model No is D101 kernel version is 3.4.67 and the date for that is Wed Jan 7 2015. I have read somewhere that if the kernel is not before 2012 you cannot root your phone or did i misunderstand this part. Reset the phone a few times and still the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated
