Hey guys Newbie here.I have a stock Xperia Z which i wanna upgrade to either CM or paranoid android or Vilidus.Dont know which to get.My choices are for the rom to be smooth,fast,simple and light.Thank you guys your help is much appreciated

Go For CM ....
Because It have many tweaks..
And batter Ram & Battery management. :thumbup:

Here is a very detailed step by step guide. you will have to READ a lot but in the end its all worth it --> CLICK ME
Once you've done all needed step, choose your rom HERE
Thank you but they didn't mention on how to change my stock Xperia Z to CM :/ Was hoping they show all the steps on how to do it but they just basically showed the pros and cons.

Try CM coz no VALIDUS build till today's is stable..it has issues one way or another

I just flashed doomkernel v05 with Ultimate HD,it boots up and works super fast and smoot,but wifi doesn't work,tried installing modules but it doesn't work.

Hi All im hopeing somebody can help me out with my SONY XPERIA L im sick of all the bugs in my stock rom its doing my head in rebooting when it wants to and doing what it likes i would like to flash a custom rom to my phone but im unsure if it can even be done as my bootloader is locked and says i can not unlock it i did read somewhere that it can be done but never said how it was done :/ it would be a big big help if somebody could tell me how to do it it

there are some roms you can install on locked bootloader. Only for jellybean. Head over to the development section and you will find some.

that depends on the rom itself.
The developers have posted all the instructions along with the requirements.
Just search for your rom and you'll find all the instructions you need to follow.

for locked bootloader
you can install 4.2.2 rom only

I just want a few testers who can just test the versions of rom that i make . Plzz guyz u will have to help me in its development .PPlase post below if u are interested and want a better rom to be available for xperia c.

I can surelly test it.
But there is still the problem with the bootloader unlocking.
Can't Sony provide it, even if you are willing to void your warranty?

Unfortunately, there is NO way to upgrade to kitkat officially, this can be achieved only by installing CM11 (many bugs, not recommended for daily use) so don't waste your time trying to find a bugless kitkat, simply because it doesn't exist.
but you can keep jellybean (yes, it's outdated, but it's better than ics)
