Yes if possible, I have openelec on it at present but ive have most of my mates have android boxes and you get best of both worlds, can install kodi but still get all the other bells and whistles that comes with android.
I have done some searching but have found it difficult to find one, any ideas?

Yeh I think you mean bluestacks, but I have to install an OS on the box first to do that. As it stands the OS is openelec and it boots straight into that.

Can't find anything about the exact device you have.
Here is something about a similar Android Box: Rooting Mele M5 Android TV Box.
If this doesn't help, you may ask in the General discussion > Questions and Answers forum.
Good luck !
You totally missed the subject of the ?
Unfortunately that article is about rooting, I am already rooted. All I want to do is take the files that map the keys for the IR Remote control from one firmware and transplant them to another. I am trying to locate where the files are located in the firmware.

I linked the only thread about a Mele Android Box that I found on xda.
And I said, that you should post your question in the Q&A forum I linked in my previous answer too.
If I had found a thread about your question, I would have posted its link. Unfortunately I can't find such a thread on xda.
I'm just pointing to the best places to get help, as I am not an expert for all questions asked in here.
Thanks for your understanding.

I flashed a stock ROM from other device which has similar specs to my phone.. though not exactly similar, they have some different specs..
my device is not so common.. so I can't find a STOCK ROM anywhere..

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to found a custom rom to flash in my tablet, I have made many searchs and all that I found links to the XDA, like to a rare port of CM9 to this tablet, but the forum that hosts this article doesn't exists... so, that's my question, anyone knows about this custom rom or any rom which can run in this tablet? below I will leave some information of my device.
Brand: Wonder Media
CPU: ARMv7 Dual (1500 Mhz)
GPU Dual Mali (400Mhz)
512 of Ram
4 GB of ROM
Screen with 1024x600 and 7"
Have 1x USB(For pendrive,3g Modem,or DTV Adapter), 1 Mini HDMI, SD CARD, and USB Conection to data.
Have Acceleration sensor.
the device is running android 4.2.1 provided by Genesis (Paraguayan enterprise), and crashes a lot. I Know that this device won't be a best, but with this Hardware I think it's possible to take more of him.
Rooted by KingRoot.
Thank's a lot!

I'm so confused why my tablet doesn't have internal sd. All of the memory space is placed as app space. I also can't move apps to sd, is this normal? I ordered this tablet from an online shop and was delivered to me already updated with kitkat 4.4.2, and the System update setting is not available. I saw that this tablet is supposed to have the OTA feature according to its website (nextbookusa). I was able to move apps to sd with my other devices running jb 4.2.2, why can't I do it here? I can access the external sd using stock file explorer but there seems to be no option to move apps. I tried rooting, no luck, i don't want to flash a custom rom just to root, I want pure stock.
Tablet : Nextbook 8 (NX785QC8G)
Specs : Quad Core Cortex-A9 @1.6ghz
Rockchip 3066
8gb rom
1gb ram
4.4.2 kitkat

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist again.
Please review the advice given in response to your initial Assist post at http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/nextbook-8-nx785qc8g-confused-t3194489.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist here is no forum specifically for the Nextbook 8 at this time but I suggest that you ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you. Since your device is relatively uncommon, please be patient and give the experts plenty of time to respond. I also see a few references to your tablet brand from a site search at http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=nextbook which might be worth reviewing but nothing that seems immediately relevant to your query, and contacting the manufacturer might be your bet bet,
Good luck!

Hi.
I've got a reasonably unknown Tablet PC.. Here are the specs and miscellaneous information;
Name: Ainol Numy 3G P97
Internal Memory: 16GB
RAM: 1GB
GPU: Mali-400 MP
SoC: MediaTek MT8382 ARM Cortex A7 @ 1.3Ghz (Quad Core)
OS: Android Jellybean 4.2.2 (I'm pretty sure it's a Custom ROM)
Kernel Version: 3.4.5
Build Number: Numy_3G_P97_V1_2014090215
Custom Build Version: 1.19_20140822
Root Access: No (I never tried to root the device, never had a reason to do so)
I've been searching around for ways to upgrade the OS from Jellybean to Lollipop or higher. I've searched extensively within XDA Developers' various forums, but there doesn't seem to be any post in relation with my device.
I took to the internet and found some websites offering Flash Tools, Firmware (nothing above KitKat, or so it seems) and Android Studio. I've tried (in vain) to go through some tutorials on YouTube, but haven't come across anyone who's done anything with this particular device.
However, I have a rough idea rattling around in my head of what needs to be done, but I just need guidance from the Developers here to tell me how to get about doing it.
I have the following software downloaded;
1. MediaTek USB Drivers and Flash tools
2. SP Flash Tool v5.1620
3. Official Android Jellybean 4.2.2 System Image for the device
4. Android Lollipop 5.0 System Image (the site I downloaded it from says the Firmware is for a different tablet pc, but with the same specs as my device)
5. Android Studio (latest version, direct download from Google) - I read in some sites that Android Studio would help a lot to install a Custom ROM into any Android device, hence the download.
I'd greatly appreciate anyone helping me out in this endeavor. I'd like to install Lollipop (at least) on my Tablet PC, in order to gain some functionality as well as improved performance (hopefully!), as the current Jellybean OS is terribly laggy. I've seen other Tablet PC's with lesser specs running Lollipop smoothly, so I'm hopeful that there might be a silver lining to an otherwise very dark and sinister looking thunderstorm.
Thanks!
Hi @sisilk
As there isn't a dedicated forum for your device here, the best place for your query is in:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A,Help and Troubleshooting.
You can hopefully find some support there.
Good luck
