Weathebug battery drain - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone here use Weathebug? I was seeing unusually high battery drain about a month ago and uninstalled. Tried it again today and same way. Anyone else experience this? Just curious if it just me.
Edit: just wanted to add that my wife uses it on her Moto X 2014 and doesn't have this problem, and I also didn't experience this on my Galaxy Note 2.

No problems here. Use the app all the time.

recent update of whats app started draining battery on nexus

Recently whats app has started causing huge batter drain. Many times I see whats app consuming around 50% of battery. It has started happening fairly recently (probably after the last update). I have faced this issue on nexus 5 and nexus 4 however haven't heard this complain from non-nexus user. Any one else is facing the same issue ? Any work around ?

Battery issues

Hello friends first post here, just looking for some tips on the battery life. I picked up a t-mobile z3 about 4 days ago one for me and my wife. I love the phone and I'm very happy with it coming from an iPhone 5s. The battery is my only concern because for some reason after I use the phone for about 10 min screen use the top right of my phone gets really hot and my battery seems to drain really fast. My wife's phone does not get hot at all. Anyone experiencing theses issues?
Maybe some misbehaving apps, or accidental/app camera usage? Try clearing out all installed apps and reinstall one by one to find out whats going on or as a last resort do a factory data reset.

High bluetooth battery drain

Been noticing a high bluetooth battery drain with the gear s2 paired with Moto X pure edition. I previously had a pebble time paired with it with no drain. Anybody else seen this? Ideas how to fix?
Also noticing high bluetooth drain as well on my Note 5. Was noticing it recently with my Moto 360 as well before upgrading. When the watch was off no such drain. Not sure what is causing the drain.

I have Note 5 and Gear S2 , didn't notice a difference in battery drain from having the watch and not. Mine is paired , and I use the watch with the phone all day long. I don't have many apps set up for notifications , so maybe this is where your drain is coming from??
Out of curiosity, do either of you have the GasBuddy app installed? For me, it had a major bug which caused bluetooth battery drain, just like what you're seeing

Wife's Pixel 3 dies without warning at any percentage

Hey guys. Against my better judgement, my wife decided to get a Pixel 3 even after having horrible issues with the Pixel 1 and 2. Low and behold, she's having issues with the 3 now; almost the same issues she had with the 1.
The phone "drains" the battery to 0% almost instantly from any percentage. She cant take the phone off the charger, even at "100%". Google 101. Has anyone had issues with this? Also, I'm wondering if its a software or hardware issue. Seems like their hardware is almost always suspect, but i'm wondering if a good root and ROM would help fix this issue.
Any ideas?

This app should help determine what is using the battery. It sounds like a hardware issue, though.

Faulty battery. Get warranty replacement (hopefully), otherwise battery replacement isn't expensive.

Extreme battery drain

Hi everyone,
I've been using Moto Z4 Verizon version with Visible about 1.5 years now, generally speaking without any issues with the stock ROM and no rooting or any other software changes etc.
For the past couple of weeks, I've notice the battery running out faster than the average times I've used before. For example almost %30 of the battery would drain overnight whereas it would only be %3-4 before.
When I check the system battery statistics there is no one specific installed app draining the battery, so I am not sure if the OS background is using the battery more than necessary.
Has anyone have experienced something similar? what would be good trouble shooting steps?
Thank you in advance!

Try putting it into safe mode overnight, if battery drain is reduced it's an app you installed.
