Best Android tablet for ~$200?

I'm looking for an Android tablet, preferably under $200.
Features wanted:
Preferably upgradable to Froyo (by rooting etc)
I don't care about resistive/capacitive, and Galaxy Tab is too expensive

I would get the Hauwei Ideos S7 because it is unlocked and you can use it as a 7" phone.

Being a new Verizon customer myself, how do you activate this on Verizon? (Always an AT&T/TMobile customer before, SIM all the way...) xD

You can only activate things that verizons sells on verizon.

I would do a AT&T GoPhone or T-Mobile prepaid option for this baby

I would check att first, with tmo you will only get 2g/edge network. Other than that, its fine.

Hey,
How can I find out where my phones was bought from?
I need to find out where my phone was originally purchased from (which shop)? I got warranty but my girlfriend who bought the phone we split up on bad terms and I cant find out where she bought it from.
I don't have a receipt an a box and its not branded as far as I can tell and its a samsung galaxy s2.

There is no way of telling where you have bought it from sorry m8 :/

[Q] New to this, looking to buy a SG3 please help

Switching over from the iPhone due to jailbreaking dying out. I'm looking on craigslist to buy a Galaxy S3. Im on AT&T and looking to buy a white or black S3. Is there anything specific I should look out for? Also I plan to root my S3, should I look for a specific S3 model and does it matter what version of an OS its running in order to root it? Like the iPhone with jailbreaking.

(Sprint) Samsung Galaxy S4 For Straight-Talk?

I really wanted the S4 so I placed an order with Sprint. Now looking at my bill which is over $200 for two lines, Im not going to pay that much because its less then $100 with Straight-Talk and its just as good.
So here is my question... If I order a AT&T Micro Sim card and put it in the Galaxy S4 will it work? I will consider rooting the S4 and unlocking it. If there is any possible way please let me know. The Galaxy S4 takes a Micro sim so im thinking there has to be a way. I will try anything so please share any and all information. Thanks for the help

I have been looking at the listings in the swap forum and would like to buy a S3. Question I have is: If I buy a S3 that is unlocked and rooted and running a custom rom, will they activate at a Verizon store or should I activate it on their webpage. I hope to buy one in the coming days. Right now I am trying to decide between the S3 or S4. Leaning towards the S3 to save money, but the S4 sure looks good......

Either is fine.
If you already have a microSIM that's active, you don't need to take it into a store. Just pop it in the phone and it should be ready to go. I've swapped my SIM between my Rezound -> GNex -> now my S3. Only time I had to go in was when I went from Rezound -> GNex, because I needed to get a microSIM, since the Rezound used a standard-sized SIM.

standard size sims can be trimmed down also i did that when i swapped from my rezound to the s3

I am now using a Droid Razr M which has the micro sim so sounds like I should be good....

Just bought a unlocked, rooted S3 on Swappa.............
