[Q] Soft-Bricked Galaxy S5 G900A - General Questions and Answers

I'm new to this and I bricked my phone pretty quickly. I'm trying to return it to stock. I have the MD5 file from sammobile. Whenever I try to start the process in Odin v3.10 (I've tried other versions and other MD5 files) I get
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> G900AUCU1ANCE_G900AATT1ANCE_G900AUCU1ANCE_HOME.tar.md5 is valid.

It can't write the file to your phones NAND memory, this can usualy be rectified by flashing a PIT file as well to fix any mult-media card corruptions as it will re-partition it.
Thanks, but where do i find a pit file?

Try another USB cable? Restart computer? Try a different version of Odin? Maybe even uninstall and reinstall Samsung USB drivers.. It's failing at the beginning of the write so something isn't handshaking properly

I had the same problem. For me it helped to to use original usb cable (used china cable). Else as the above poster said, make sure you have the newest version of Odin.
Also try different USB ports.
