I updated my note 3 sm-n9005 using mobile odin to lollipop. It was working well and then after i updated super SU application and restarted the phone it was only stock on booting. I already tried hard resetting my phone thru recovery mode but after booting it is still stock to that. Can someone help me to troubleshoot my problem?
Thanks in Advance!!

Flashing with Mobile Odin app won't flash the new Lollipop (LP) bootloader.
But AFAIK stock LP kernel needs the new LP bootloader for booting into system.
I recommend to check this thread: [GUIDE][HOW TO FLASH LOLLIPOP | SM-N9005][5.0 | N9005XXUGBNL8][Easy].
And try again flashing LP like described there ... using PC version of Odin to install the new LP bootloader too :fingers-crossed:

Okay so basically, today I got the request of installing the Android 4.4.4 kitkat update on my rooted moto g. I press yes and that my phone shut off as it's meant to be. Then this is when the problem occurs; when it turns back on it goes to TWRP and it goes the the normal page of TWRP. I reboot my phone to try again and the same thing happens. Can someone help me to get rid of this problem and to install the Android 4.4.4 kitkat update on my rooted moto g? Will be much appreciated :good:
P.S: The Android update was from Google.
Installing an OTA on a Rooted Phone with Custom Recovery is not advisable!

I tried too and the installation stops and comes out an error with /system/framework/core.odex.
I tried to flash again stock recovery but it persists..

Same here. Had to flash stock recovery from bootloader (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img) and then reboot, and let the phone reboot and apply the system update.
All is good, and it kept root... No need to have the system breaking TWRP on there.
I get an error while updating, it just says ''error''. I have stock kernel, stock recovery, unrooted... Nothing seems to work, but I think the problem might be that I have a custom boot animation. Is there any way to flash the 4.4.2 stock UK rom?
Use the search guys: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/how-update-rooted-moto-g-to-4-4-4-t2823106

Do you have a moto g ? I did a factory reset which meant that the update wouldn''t keep shutting down my phone and then it would go to TWRP. So how do I install the 4.4.4 update?
hi all, I'm trying to upgrade to KK with a stock/official fw; linky via odin 3.07. I am able to flash successfully, the tablet restarts and then just sits at the Samsung "blue oval thing"
I've tried TWRP touch 2.8.0.1 to install Gnabo 6.5, following instructions of Here, using "Installation for N801x". All has gone as expected until I tried to install the bootloader section, TWRP crashes to bootloop each time.
I've tried re-downloading the bootloader as well as clean flash of KK and using CWM touch 6.0.3.6 in place of TWRP; same result.
I have a backup of 4.0.something, but i want 4.4.2. Any suggestions are welcomed, TIA.

Did you flash the Leaked n8000 firmware that Changes the Boot-Loader to the knox boot-loader. If so i think you have to flash a 4.4.2 zip with Mobile odin as it does not do a Boot loader check. There are several threads about 8010 Devices STUCK Into using the n8000 firmware only. Then you have to apply the no cell and wifi fix patches. I do not have a 8010 mine is 8013 so i do not have this issue and have not read totally up on it. It just seems this could be your Trouble.
Good Luck
Thanks Erica_Renee,
I've read about this issue in a few threads, I didn't feel it affected me as my bootloader screen
View attachment 2968202
doesn't show anything about Knox.
but, as I'm short on options; why not. So you're saying go back to 4.0.whatever, install mobile odin and flash KK N8010 rather than through odin on desktop?

Awesome! Two questions though:
1) Are you sure this works for the sm-n900k using Lollipop? The firmware you've linked to has kitkat in the filename, and the root software is listed as being for the sm-n900s.
2) If it does work for the sm-n900k on Lollipop, can I just skip to step2 and get root on the stock ROM (i.e. without flashing a new recovery)?
Thanks for your help with this.

Awesome! I took the plunge and tried it. sm-n900k (Olleh) running Lollipop 5.0. Worked perfectly! No heart-stopping moments like I've had rooting other phones.
Thanks so much for your help!

I have a Note 3 N900S -- with what I would say is the latest firmware, which I used ODIN to flash. Android version 5.0
Thanks to the above -- I NOW have Root! Thanks!
I can not say if CWM is difficult to install or not. Before finding this post on XDA, I unsuccessfully tried rooting with Kingo root tool. My Note 3 locked up and would not complete booting, and I was forced to Odin my firmware again. However Kingo did leave me with CWM installed. I have no idea -- if CWM would have been easier to directly install. After trying some other attempts, eventually I found this post on XDA. This worked for me. I now have Root.
I was hasty. Yes I have Root. However, when I attempted to use the CWM in recovery - it looked like about half of the menu options disappeared. After I left CWM, my N900S would no longer boot properly.
Hey guys. Newbie here. Plus I'm not an expert like you guys so don't bash me lol. So here's my issue:
I rooted my Nexus 4 with the shuame root tool and then I unrooted it back using the same tool. And when I got the 5.0.1 OTA update, i selected to install it but then it goes to the shuame recovery screen. When I select "Yes. Install this package", it reboots and doesn't get updated to Lolipop and it's still stuck on 4.4.4. Any idea on how I can get rid of the shuame recovery and get back the stock recovery? Please help. Thanks.
Plus I'm still running stock android

marshmallow rom available for J700H not J700F
So what to do now?
If nothing passed during the flash you can try to flash the last official stock firmware you had on your phone as long as nothing has updated to the marshmallow version before you tried to update if you was on lollipop before this then try to reflash the last official stock firmware you had already installed. The bootloader isnt locked or it wouldnt of made your knox counter 1 from 0. If odin flashing stock doesnt work then you need to use smart switch to do a emergency recovery. Im use to kies recovery but it says smart switch on your screen shot.
That official stock rom is also not flashing after i flashed a5 rom...after installing the a5 rom all these problems are arising. I was not being able to come back to the stock rom after the installation of the a5 rom long back ago.
Pls anybody give any solution...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmo...p/flash-stock-firmware-using-samsung-t3079176
Use smart switch then. This is why you only flash stuff made for your phone.. flashing roms for other phones will brick you. Your lucky your even able to restore it should be hard bricked.
Hi
I faced the same problem recently , it happens coz u are trying to downgrade to a lower version of bootloader , if you have a backup restore it without checking (efs/modem) or make a flashable zip of ur original stock rom without sboot...cm...modem.bin files
The easy solution is to flash russian lp via odin
