[Q] Micromax A65 .......... Please Help

Respected Everyone,
Last week I`ve bought Micromax A65. I have few questions about this device. Would anyone please help me about this device ?
I want to root the device and install a custom rom in it. Is it possible ? If so, how can I do this ?

Got this phone yesterday. any updates?

For Z4Root
Click on Temp. Root
Don't worry if it hanged or suddenly stopped, just remove the battery, put it back on and boot the device
Now click on Permanent Root
But try it at your own RISK

Tried temporary root also. Not working. Should we connect the device to system? I didn't because no drivers are available for this.

If you please share your experiences about this device, then it will be very helpful for me.
Actually I`m little disappoint with this device. Specially with it`s battery backup. Do you have any such experience ?

Yeah same problem.
Played Temple Run 2 for 15 - 20 min and battery indicator turned to yellow.
Low internal space, around 30 MB. Unable to play 480p videos (tried it with app given by default, vlc player and mx player).
Very bad camera quality. My Nokia 5130 cam was better actually.
And most importantly no drivers available for this till date because of which I am unable to root.
But for 5k we can't expect S2 like features right? I am fine with if I get drivers and able to root this device.

No idea. Still I am new to this android world finding a way to root the device. If you get it do post it here..

Micromax A35 is a gingerbread phone same as your A65
And it worked on A35
I suggest you to once try it

You can give this a shot. Honestly, 3rd party manufactured phones rarely attract dev attention for root methods. You're best bet will be generic many-root type scripts/programs. Another option (If you can find a phone that is rooted and support USB On the Go) would be this method. Hope it helps a bit!

i tried the unlocker root it worked.
google it you would get it.
just try to connect your phone using usb to pc.
do not press any thing mass storage or anything.just leave it for few seconds it will start usb debugging tha adb driver will install automatically.
now install unlocker root and root your phone it takes 2-5min for rooting.
enjoy.

As My Opinion as a Dev of A89 Ninja You Can use a android app called Framaroot-1.9.3.apk to root your A89 Ninja easily in 1:30 Minute without PC...
Installation
• Download it on your device (links are available at the end of this post)
• Install it with a file explorer or directly from your internet browser, if android warn you about security risk, say OK and check Unknown sources to allow install of applications outside of Play Store.
Usage
• Open Framaroot and select one of the following action: Install SuperSU
• A popup saying Success ... Superuser and su binary installed. You have to reboot your device...
After that you will Get Root Access to your Device...
NOW ABOUT CUSTOM ROM OF A89 NINJA
As my opinion as a developer of A89 ninja Do Not use Any Custom ROM becz i never found a Custom ROM Without bugs, except the Lewa OS V2.0.
the Stock ROM v2 is the best ROM for A89 Ninja.
But still you can test or Use any Custom Rom Whatever You like...

Rooted stock rom V2 is the best option as of now. Install Xposed Framework for advanced tweaks. & Framaroot indeed is a nice app.

No one has made CWM for your phone.
Follow this procedure to create it: How To Make / Flash CWM Recovery

How to root Micromax Canavas Spark lollipop 5.0
1. Download Super-Root.apk for Micromax Canvas.
2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy the Super-Root.apk over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once it’s been copied, disconnect your device from your PC.
5. Head to Menu>>Settings>>Security on your device and enable the Unknown sources option.
6. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the app you copied earlier to your device.
7. Once the app’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.

Successful rooting using super root tool for canvas spark
After trying with kingo the device still was not able to access root permissions but using super root tool the device acheived it easily and successfully
Visit bestandroidrootedapps(dot)com and search for canvas spark there

my canvas spark just got delivered few hours back.
Will be rooting it using attempts I can do.
And I would share that method directly here and on YouTube and not like those users who link to required files and want users to complete survey/install virus
before they can share information.
only SICK kind of people share knowledge and blackmail innocent users by injecting spywares etc.

Can't share the link you can search it as mentioned to vote thanks for it but the method goes as follows
1. open super root
2. click install supersu from the first drop down menu which asks you for which action to be performed after root
3. when exploits show up click on one of them.
4. after around 2 minutes your device will be rooted , RESTART ONCE.
5. you will find supersu app installed for managing root authentication
IT WORKS AND IT IS NOT A SPAM, happy rooting!!

I would have loved to do that @sakha123; but for mediatek devices the procedure is different and I would not be able to do that
