Samsung galaxy note 3 china sm900 mtk6572. Development - Galaxy Note 3 General

MOD EDIT:
This is not a Samsung Device and does not belong to any forums.

can u share it? i really want to use that custom rom looks cool!!! :good: is it stable?

...let me begin with "you don't have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N900" as Samsung never employed Mediatek SoCs.
Never.
And considering you have a replica of the thing and managed to boot an Xperia port and have CWM is a miracle by itself and no small amount of skill on your part.

This is fake note 3. Home button is to low

Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus

Why are no developers developing the Cyanogen mod 9 Android 4.x.x for the galaxy tab 7.0 plus WIFI only version? Its a real nice device and it will be awesome to have CM9 for this device. I believe the galaxy tab 7 plus is being ignored for the galaxy tab 10.1.
its all to do with the sauce codes...Samsung have them under wraps and are not letting them go easy also their is an issue with correct drivers etc... im sure when the codes are revealed their will be 100s of developers trying this baby out (wifi/3g) but in my opinion i think Samsung have kept this from us deliberately as they are launching the new g-tab 2 this is basically a crappy version of out tab but with ICS not honeycomb and buy them allowing development on our device before launch would kill the thrill of the new galaxy tab 2... disappointing i know
I read a article this morning that said almost the exact same thing you just did. the Tab 2 seems like a lower end device than what the plus is. Slower processor (or just underclocked) with ICS. I am perfectly happy with the tab plus.

I've made the same mistake... I could buy Sony... It's very irritating. Samsung shouldn't make a reduntant hope.

It is a good idea. I wanted to buy Moto G, but it was too expensive. Next time I'll have to choose a smartphone more carefully. Do you know something about the modified ROMs?

One time i was too cheap to buy good phone, i bought Huawei u8180, this time i had more money, i bought this phone, and in store i tought, oh, this one is better than that, its good phone, but actualy its piece of crap. Moto G plus is, that Motorola give updates so fast, and they are very stable. For comparising, samsung does not give updates at all. What a piece of sh** company. -_-
We must wait for CyanogenMod, but unless unofficial or othed mods. Damn it!

Me too bro, i dont understand, how this big company DOES NOT support cheaper devices.
I think Samsung want to increase a sale. They want just to have profits and force us to change telephones.
@The_Rencis
I know something about Omkar$'s ROM, but it isn't probably stable.
@friendfriend
I heard something Google doesn't want to make new Nexus.

All is cheap for Samsung.
No matter which manufacturer we'll choose as long as we'll buy cheap devices we'll not find any fw upgrades - that's the truth. Sony supports devices only for a year, when you're buying LG you're aware that it will definately not get any upgrade. Only Nexus has guarantee of ugprades because it is Google.
I heard that Google is forcing now manufacturers to upgrade ALL devices no matter if it's low/med/hi-end but when will it force it? nobody knows....
For now(I think) we should try to build working kernel with additional governors etc. so we have base to start modding. KitKat requires 3.x kernel, we have one so there is still hope that at some point of time someone will build working CM/AOKP/AOSP/Paranoid KitKat ROM.
CM is coming soon maybe a week or month
Looks like we can't count on Samsung, nothing suprising about that :/ I'm starting to miss my old Sony Neo V, huge dev base, I could replace rom every week/month with a new one, good times. My lesson for the future - at first search xda forum, then buy device... Core is just DEAD.

I need your help which phone to choose! 7 item!

Hello, I need to buy another phone. Suppose that the phones in question are similar price range. Those who mention just have the opportunity to purchase. They have a warranty are as new or fairly new.
I know I can count on your help for that in advance grande thanks!
I would add only that the phone I use for everything (except play in games). I love to modify, root, flash roms (if any are available) and so on.
Telephones referred:
1. Samsung Galaxy A3
2. HTC Desire 620
3. Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime
4. Sony Xperia LTE
5. Meizu M2 Note
6. Samsung Galaxy S3
7. Lenovo Golden Warrior S8

from my experience using a Galaxy Note 2 Galaxy Note 5 or galaxy s6 a galaxy s6 edge, a galaxy s5, a galaxy s4, and even a galaxy s3 connected to both my galaxy gear s and my gear s2 the only one I've had issues with is samsung galaxy note 5 & I think it's kind of hilarious seen as how it has 4 gigs of ram and an octocore processor, that being said the few differences I have noticed in the functionality of the gear when using different Galaxy devices is minimally changed. The apps that will not work are generally not phenomenal apps. And they are usually not updated anyway. In theory if you got an s4 versus any other galaxy device with one and a half gigs of RAM will probably have the same basic usability. I hope this help. I guess to shorten it down if you're trying to save some money. The Galaxy s4 will probably do you just fine. If you want to be 100% sure you have absolutely no issues at all you want the best bang for your buck get an S5. It's almost the perfect device for the gear.

thank you for your answer, this is exactly what I wanted to know. I think eventually I'll get a s4 because I will use it as a second phone only for the gear and little else and buy a s5 only for this seems like a waste ...my phone will remain the main iphone 6 with which I am comfortable in the hope that soon will also be released the app for ios... then there is to say that here in Italy, for what it costs to buy a samsung, to have 4 GB of RAM I was watching the new OnePlus 2 (the same price of the galaxy s4 ......) but in that case lose apps made just for samsung .. shame ..

Samsung Galaxy Xcover Pro has Custom ROMs?

Does the Samsung Galaxy Xcover Pro have custom ROMs?
Anyone?
I'm also curious. Which variant of xcover pro is best for ROMs?
Unfortunately there is none, at least as far as I know. It would be great to have a custom ROM on the Samsung XCover Pro, though. An exchangeable battery! Hard to find these days...
LineageOS-based ROM /e/ has a "Request a Device"-section, with an already existing XCover Pro thread:
Samsung XCover Pro
Please consider Samsung XCover Pro for supported device: rugged phone, IP68, will last a long time so good for environment user replaceable battery good specs so will not be outdated soon (25Mpix camera for example) Take a look at it at...

Maybe they add support for the device if enough people do.
