Good luck,
After restoring a backup made with TWRP my TF300 will not boot up. When I turn it on and don't touch anything it stays on the ASUS screen. When I try to go into recovery it takes me straight to the screen with a USB icon and Wipe Data Icon only. There use to be a third icon at this screen but that seem to have went away. Using FASTBOOT I flash CWM recovery, but the only way I can access recovery is by selecting the Wipe Data Icon. Tried flashing various rom (Stock and custom) with no luck getting the tablet to startup. So does any one have any suggestions on how to get my tablet working again. Any help will be appreciated.
someone else was having the same problem as you not to long ago. check a few pages back for threads that have bricked or softbricked in the title either in the general section or the questions section. or just use the search function

This Problem Occurred to me a few days ago.........
I was playing a game and suddenly when i tapped on the recent apps button there was no response i tried to open a few more apps and tried to open recent apps but to yield no results
I got afraid then i saw a few tut videos and they said me to root my phone and install soft key enabler i did so but the problem still persisted..
So i rebooted the device
After the reboot i was shocked to see both the status bar and on-screen navigation buttons had disappeared:crying:
So i rebooted into recovery mode and did a factory reset after removing root..........
But still the problem exists so i installed {button savior (no root) and switchapps} apps to assist me to do the same i.e home back and recent apps the home and back buttons work but now the rent apps button doesn't respond or show any results..................

PROBLEM:
I recently got a brand new Nexus 6 running stock ROM, Android 5.0.1. I rooted my phone a while ago, and I installed this application called SoftKeyZ. This application allows you to change the soft key icons on a device that supports on screen soft keys (the home button, the back button, and the recent apps button). None of the custom soft keys worked for my Nexus 6 so I selected a button titles "Backup". That was supposed to restore all the normal soft key files on my phone so they were normal. That did NOT work. The phone is now completely unusable! The notification drawer has disappeared along with all three soft keys!!! So I have no acccess to notifications, or any of the on screen buttons.
WHAT I TRIED:
I tried booting into safe mode, and uninstalling the SoftKeyZ application. Note: the soft keys and the notification bar were even nonexistent while in safe mode. So, I then reluctantly attempted to fix the problem by factory reseting my device. THIS DIDN'T WORK EITHER!! So now I have a phone that has no dada on it, it has no notification bar, has no soft keys, and IS COMPLETELY UNUSABLE!!!!!!!
MY THANKS:
Thank you for reading my post. I hope that you can help me fix my problem because I will be pretty screwed if I cant use my phone due to the fact that I use it to make personal calls, texts, and such. Thank you very much
-Marc
Got the same problem!
And for some reason I can't find/replace the systemui.apk. Do I need the framework-res.apk as well?
Can't really flash the stock firmware either because I have no access to my Nexus
Help us please!

Download the stock ROM for your phone, then extract the system.img partition where your can find the systemui.apk and settings.apk. Sideload these files to your phone using a custom recovery or using ADB. Now boot up the phone and see if it works.
If that doesn't work, just flash the stock ROM again. No other go I guess
if anyone can help solve this I will declare them a genius.
