I would like to know does anyone get android 4.4 kitkat update for Canvas 2.One of my friend has canvas 4 and his device is upgraded to 4.4.
Currently i am using custom rom tht's why i can't check for updates .If any one got this please let me know so tht i will switch back to original rom to upgrade my mob to 4.4.

FYI:- 4.4 hasn't been released for our devices yet.
even my phone got updated.. mind it its MMX

Rooting Canvas 6 pro:-
We can root Canvas 6 pro by two methods as follows
1. Kingroot 4.9 apk
2. Installing Su through Custom recovery( recoveries attached)
Custom ROMS for Canvas 6 Pro:-
I have ported three to four roms like AMIGO,FLYME,XUI But they have some major bugs camera,flashlight so it will take some time to release

I have ported three roms(Flyme,Amigo and XUI) for canvas 6 pro but some major bugs are there like camera ,flashlight so it will take time

Tried every tutorial but unable to port... Everytime stuck on some steps..
Bro I think porting works only if the kernel is the same... I'm sure ud be successful if you use roms which use Stock or Stock modified kernels.... Then again I'm just a noob and I haven't the faintest idea about coding ...

yup i know this... so tried cm 12 for xiomi redmi note 3 (mtk6795) version.. But failed. That thing wont work.....
By the way these phones are identical in every specs. If you wish to port, try the ones made for xiomi, work would be a lot lesser... ☺
@ANANDH16 can you please upload the META-INF of stock ROM ....need updater-script ...
and also can you post the way to unlock boot loader....after fastboot OEM unlock phone goes into bootloop and even the recovery is corrupted
Just a quick note, use supersume to get rid of all the chinese crap installed. It will slow down your phone and is almost certainly violating your privacy.

Full dark material everywhere.....Settings Dialer Framework Contacts SystemUI Dialog Just everything White is Dark....
