I wonder developers as they test their roms before installing on a particular machine because I want to installing a rom here but only for testing. would emulate the computer before installing ? : Confused:

I wanted to install a custom rom like cyanogenmod in my Xolo A1000. I searched everywhere but not able to find any custom rom for it. Can anyone suggest any good custom rom for this.
And if no such custom rom is available then is there any rom which i can easily port to my device. Any rom for similar device?

So i need help for a rom my android phone is Lg L1 II (E410i) and I wanted to install a theme (ctOS theme) but to install it in the instruction it says that i should have a custom rom like cm paranoid etc etc... the problem is that I can't find any rom for my phone and i heard about rom porting and creating a custom rom for a specific phone...
Hi I am currently using a device with 4.1.2 on it and want to port kitkat to it ( READ ON )
Currently custom roms available for my devices are ports from other devices like huawei y300 and g510.
Recently a Slimkat version has been released for both those devices and i want to port it to my device.
My question is how do i go about it?? I found many guides about porting roms of same android version but dont know if cross version porting is possible.

I have installed another custom rom on my Galaxy grand...but its theme is not perfect..though it runs smooth....I want apk file of that System default theme of CM 12.1....and yeah the rom i currently installed is based on cm 12.1 named Bliss Rom..
